Chapter 81 Big Friend

The next day, it was only dawn when Ethan woke up Black, who was still sleeping.

After putting the things in the car, Blake sent Ethan an address on his mobile phone in a daze, and fell asleep in the co-pilot.

That's right, the field is exhausted, but fortunately, my cattle can withstand it.

After Ethan smoked a refreshing cigarette, he got into a Dodge Challenger and drove to Black's address.

Blake slept for another hour or so, and when she finally woke up, she stretched sleepily, and the mountain rose.

"Where have we been?"

She glanced out the window, the sky was already bright, and the desolate pastures passed by outside the car.

Ethan handed her a cup of coffee bought on the way, "It's almost at your uncle's house."

This is a desolate town, full of houses that have been in disrepair for a long time, and crows can be heard from time to time, making it look extremely desolate.

In comparison, Banshee Town is much bustling and bustling.

After driving forward for a few minutes, I saw a red brick factory building surrounded by vines on the side of the road. The two-storey factory building seemed to have been abandoned for many years.

The glass of the upper window has disappeared, a few crows flapped their wings and paced back and forth on it, and the decayed wooden frame was shaking.

A gust of wind blew through, and there was a whimpering sound in the empty factory building.

Blake turned his head inadvertently, but she saw a little boy passing behind a window on the second floor, and she quickly patted Ethan's arm.

"Hey, look, there's a little boy in here."

Ethan looked back, but found nothing, the crow was still hopping.

He smiled and stretched out his hands to rub Black's head, and said:
"Aren't you awake yet? How could there be a child in such a place?"

Blake was confused, but she looked back anyway.

At this time, only a few crows on the window flapped their wings and flew away.

Blake stuck out her tongue in embarrassment, and she also wondered if she had read it wrong just now.

A little further away, after turning a corner, a wooden house with a blue roof and white walls appeared in front of the roadside, surrounded by low white wooden fences, and behind the house was a small forest.

The farm on the side of the road is planted with unknown crops, which grow to a height of more than half a meter, and are golden in the morning sun.

"It should be right here."

Ethan slowed down and stopped in front of the house.

Blake picked up his mobile phone and started calling. After a while, the door of the small white villa was pulled open, and a middle-aged man with a somewhat handsome appearance came out.

Blake got out of the car in surprise, ran forward and hugged the middle-aged man.

Ethan also turned off the engine and got out of the car, and took Blake's suitcase out of the car.

Heavy footsteps sounded from behind, Ethan turned around, and Black's uncle came up behind him, holding out his hand with a smile on his face.

"Hello, I'm Jonathan Gaines, thank you for sending Blake here."

"Mr. Gaines, you call me Ethan, you're welcome, Blake and I are friends."

Ethan shook hands with him. Jonathan's hands were covered with calluses, and he was dressed like a typical American small farmer, with thick brown leather boots, blue jeans, and a jacket over his shirt.

At this time, someone came out of the house again, a middle-aged blonde woman with a cute little girl.

After hugging Black, they walked over together.

"You can just call me Jonathan. I heard Blake's father mentioned you. This is my wife Karen and my daughter Wendy."

Jonathan introduced him with a happy face. After Ethan and Karen shook hands, he took out a bag of chocolates from the car.

Yesterday Blake told him that there was a little girl in his uncle's house, and he bought it together when he bought coffee on the way.

"Wendy, nice to meet you, this is a gift from me."

Ethan smiled and handed the big bag of chocolates to the little girl.

The little girl Wendy looked at the chocolate in Ethan's hand, her eyes were about to light up, but she still didn't take it, but looked at Karen.

After Karen and Jonathan looked at each other and smiled, they said to Wendy:

"This is a gift for you, you can accept it."

"Thank you." Wendy happily took the chocolate in Ethan's hand, then bit her finger and looked at him.

"You look so handsome."

Everyone burst into laughter, Jonathan picked Wendy up and said to Ethan:

"Come in and do it, Karen has prepared a hearty breakfast for you."

Ethan raised his hand and looked at his watch, then declined:
"Thank you, I already ate on the way, and now I have to rush back to work, so I won't bother you."

After embracing Black, Ethan and the Jonathan family waved goodbye and drove back to Banshee Town.

Back at the police station, Ethan went straight to the coffee machine.

He didn't return to his seat until he took a large cup of coffee.

"What time did you go to bed last night?" Siobhan knocked on his desk with his duty watch.

"It's not very late, just after three o'clock."

"The young man's body is good. Is your little friend gone?" Siobhan grabbed his solid arm.

"Yes, I just sent her back, but compared with her, you seem to be a child."

Ethan looked at Siobhan with great interest, and when he said the word small, his tone became more serious, and he said with a pun.

Siobhan's face changed, and he walked behind Ethan calmly, and then wrapped his arms around his neck unceremoniously.

"What are you talking about? Say it again."

"Wrong, I was wrong, you are also a big friend." Ethan felt the oppression behind him, and happily begged for mercy.

"That's more or less." Siobhan let go of his arms and ruffled his hair.

"This is the police station, and the influence is not very good. Why don't you two open a room?"

Brock, who was sitting next to him, also joined in the fun, and was pushed back by two middle fingers the next moment, and Emmett burst into laughter.

Today, Ethan and Siobhan went out on patrol together again.

After walking around for a few laps, Alma's voice rang through the radio, and she received a report that someone was being harassed by others in their backyard and asked them to deal with it.

After the two looked at each other, Siobhan turned the steering wheel and drove towards the report address.

Soon came to the scene of the report, and just got out of the car, I heard loud shouts from behind the house.

"Get the hell out of my backyard, I've called the police, you bastard."

He and Siobhan hurried across the lawn between the two houses and came to the backyard of the house.

In the swimming pool in the backyard, a naked long-haired man stood and cursed at the people outside the rear guardrail, and another naked man squatted half-squatting and hid behind the long-haired man aggrievedly.

Ethan took a closer look, yes, they were all men.

"Hey, what's going on here?"

Seeing the white man wearing a hoodie standing outside the fence, Siobhan shouted quickly.

The people in the swimming pool heard the voice and said in surprise:

"Officer, it's a good time for you to come and arrest this psychopath quickly?"

The man in the hood didn't run away. He clasped his hands on the fence and shouted angrily:

"Why did you betray me, why?"
