Chapter 94
Ethan stopped moving and looked at her fixedly.

Siobhan blushed from Ethan's fiery gaze, closed his eyes, and then opened them in shame, their gazes collided.

Ethan could even feel her heart beating, and he stopped pretending to be a gentleman, bowed his head and kissed her.

Siobhan immediately responded enthusiastically, and just as Ethan was about to make the next move, there was a bang on the door.

The movements of the two stopped suddenly, Siobhan let go of his hand quickly, and Ethan sat up.

"Do you have any guests?"

"You have a date?"

The two said in unison, and then shook their heads again.

Siobhan had no choice but to tidy up his clothes, and went to open the door with a displeased face.

Ethan picked up the wine glass and took a sip of the wine, suppressing his anger.

After a while, there were whispers of arguing outside the door.

Ethan felt something was wrong, he stood up quickly, pulled out the Glock from the cabinet next to him and walked out.

Outside the house, Siobhan and a man with mid-length hair stood under a big tree, and the two were talking excitedly.

He seemed to be an acquaintance, so he had no choice but to insert Glock into his waist, and then walked over to separate the two of them.

"Calm down, sir, what's the matter?"

"Fack, where did you get this Dick from?"

When the long-haired man saw Ethan coming out of Siobhan's house, he felt uncomfortable with his appearance.

His face darkened, and he stretched out his hand to push Ethan.

Being scolded for no reason, Ethan's face turned cold.

Fearing that he had nowhere to go to the fire, Ethan quickly grabbed his wrist, pulled him back hard, followed by his feet, and the long-haired man flew aside immediately, and fell to the ground.

"Ethan, stop."

Siobhan hurriedly stopped him, preventing him from continuing to do anything.

Ethan saw that he was an acquaintance of Siobhan, so he couldn't help but stopped.

"Little squirrel, have you seen it?"

"He hit me, you are the town police now, aren't you going to do something?"

The long-haired man spat out the dirt and grass stems in his mouth angrily, stood up, and shouted at Siobhan.

"It seems that you attacked the police first, right?"

Ethan lifted the corner of his clothes, revealing the gun stuck in his waist, and smiled at him.

The long-haired man immediately shut his mouth and looked at him resentfully.

"Ethan, you go in first, can we talk between the two of you?"

Siobhan took his hand and said seriously.

"Are you sure you can do it alone?"

Siobhan didn't speak, but nodded silently.

Ethan had no choice but to give up, glanced at the long-haired man, and then walked towards the house.

The long-haired man was frightened by Ethan's cold eyes, as if he was looking at a dead person, he couldn't help but took a step back, and then felt that he couldn't be so cowardly, so he clenched his fists.

It wasn't until Ethan walked away that he breathed a sigh of relief.

However, Ethan did not enter the house, but stood on the porch. After he lit a cigarette, he put his hand on the handle of the gun and stared at the long-haired man.

The long-haired man suddenly felt like a thorn in his back. After he and Siobhan briefly said a few words, he left in a hurry.

Siobhan stood there for a while, then turned around and walked over, took the cigarette from Ethan's mouth, and took a deep puff.

"That's my ex-husband, Breece Conner."

When Siobhan was talking, he couldn't help reaching out and rubbing his shoulders.

"What does he want from you?"

Ethan knew that she had been divorced, but he forgot the reason for the divorce.

"He wanted me to lift the restraining order, otherwise he wouldn't be able to find a job."

Siobhan left a word and walked into the house.

"Did he attack you?"

Ethan hurriedly followed, and immediately understood what caused the divorce. The two had no children. Most of the cases where the woman applied for a restraining order to the court were due to domestic violence.

Now he felt that his attack was too light just now, and he could definitely use a little more intensity.

Siobhan nodded, and sat on the sofa with his hands on his shoulders.

Noticing her movement, Ethan reached out and grabbed her collar. Siobhan wanted to dodge, but seeing Ethan's firm eyes, she had to stop.

Ethan clasped the collar with his fingers and pulled it, revealing her shoulders.

At the shoulder girdle, there is a huge scar.

"What did he do to you?" Ethan narrowed his eyes.

"It was ironed."

Siobhan pulled his clothes over the scar and smiled nonchalantly.

"It's all over, and he has paid the price. Life in prison has allowed him to grow a lot, and his temper has also improved."

"You call me good-tempered when you push me up." Ethan also sat down on the sofa and picked up his wine glass.

"He used to beat people to the hospital because of what I said to other men in the bar. What do you think? It's alcohol that killed him."

Ethan noticed Siobhan's gaze, didn't care at all, and drank the red wine in the glass slowly.

"He can do this kind of thing because he is such a person. Don't blame alcohol."

Putting the cup back on the table, he continued:
"What are you going to do now?"

Siobhan shook his head. "I'll lift the restraining order."

"Brice's cousin offered him a job, but only if he didn't have a restraining order on him."

"I'm no longer the old Siobhan. He may have changed too. Anyway, I don't want to be a hindrance to his job search."

"This is entirely your personal decision." Ethan shrugged his shoulders.

"Sorry, I'm not in the mood right now." Siobhan leaned against him.

"It's okay." After a lot of tossing, Ethan lost his interest. He put his arms around Siobhan, and the two watched the survivor battle on TV together.
After a while, Siobhan whispered, "Ozzy is not the champion."

With a crisp "snap", Ethan's slap fell heavily.

The next day, Siobhan did not show up for work at the police station.

Ethan knew that she was going to deal with the matter with her ex-husband, but he didn't care.

During this period, Hood also gave him a secure mobile phone, saying that it was given to him by Jaber. If there is any emergency, he can use this mobile phone to contact him, and there is no need to worry about the security of the call.

Ethan felt happy, Jabo seems to have a deep resentment for what happened last time.

In the afternoon, after receiving a message from Siobhan, Siobhan told Ethan that the matter had been dealt with, and told him cryptically that there was still a bottle of red wine brought over last night.

Ethan replied to her message with a smile, saying that one bottle is not enough, and he will bring some more.

After get off work, Ethan didn't go home, he went directly to the supermarket to buy some drinks and snacks, and then came to Siobhan's residence.

After picking up the bag from the co-pilot, he suddenly felt something was wrong, and quickly raised his head to look forward.

The windows of Siobhan's house were dark with no light, and the front door was ajar.

Ethan hurriedly opened the car door and ran to the front door.

When he got to the door, he pulled out the Glock and gently pushed the door open with the muzzle of the gun.
