As for why I chose animation as my major, it was initially because when I was young, I was attracted by the interesting and rich expressions of cartoons.

As a child, it was truly my best childhood companion.

When I grew up, I started to watch foreign cartoons and was truly shocked.

The wonderful story, excellent painting quality, and classic soundtrack all made me addicted.

I found that animation is more attractive than I imagined.

But at the same time, I also found that in the minds of Chinese people, cartoons seem to be more of a symbol of younger age.

It seems that only children can watch it, and it would be childish for adults to watch it.

At that time, I thought that it would take a long time for Chinese animation to rise, and it would require someone to work hard to change people's perceptions.

Let the world know that cartoons, like TV dramas, have genres that match different age groups, the only difference is the way of expression.

It was from that time that the seed of wanting to become an animator was planted in my heart.

So I started to go to school while working hard to improve my art skills.

Finally, I was lucky enough to become a part of this garden.

At the beginning, I was really fearless and thought that as long as I had a good foundation in painting, I would be fine.

Later I realized that there is so much to learn if I want to complete a work on my own.

The most basic script requires you to have the ability to tell a story.

The subsequent character design and art style require you to have enough imagination.

Between the final production and post-production synthesis, sound effects production and dubbing, there are so many things to learn.

At that time, I was like a drop of water falling into the ocean. I almost drowned and the pressure was so great that I couldn't breathe.

But I never thought of backing down. Instead, I worked even harder to study.

I learn during class, I learn by looking up information after class, and I learn by chasing the teacher until I get to the bottom of it. I just hope that I will not let down the oath I once made.

I believe that not only me, but everyone here has experienced various difficulties and setbacks, has pondered hard in the long night, and cried loudly in an empty corner.

But I believe that as long as you grit your teeth and persevere, life will give you surprises.

Later, with unremitting efforts and courageous challenges, I finally made my first animated short film in my life, "The Blind Path is Busy", and won the "Best Animated Short Film Award" at the Golden Dragon Awards.

I did not live up to what I wrote in my diary at that time: "No matter what, we are not allowed to retreat, we are not allowed to stop working hard, and we are never allowed to give up." We will not be defeated by difficulties. We will persevere until the last moment, gritting our teeth and holding back tears!
