Chapter 20

Chapter 20 Dialogue
Although it is a bit mysterious to write this way, I still want to say that I have a dialogue with the gods.

Conversation on a thunderstorm day.

The third year of high school started early in August, and I went to school for a while.

As I said before, the rental house is not close to the school, so I chose to ride a bicycle back and forth.

One night just after self-study, there was loud thunder, and it happened to be our turn to clean up the class in the dormitory.

After finishing what I needed to clean, my roommate and I hurriedly said goodbye and rushed downstairs.

That day, I went to school with the car of my deskmate, so I had to walk home at night.

Dad was waiting for me at the school gate and told me to walk faster, because there would be heavy rain later.

There is a wide road from the rental house to the school, and trees are planted on both sides of the road.

Because I was deeply impressed by the common sense that "you can't walk under trees during thunderstorms", I tried to avoid walking under trees by myself and went to the middle of the road.

But there are occasional cars on the road, and you can't go to the middle of the road.

The thunder was getting louder and there was occasional lightning.

I have been afraid of lightning since I was a child. The night suddenly flashes into day, and the visual impact is particularly great.

Although I haven't done anything wrong, I always feel that I will be hacked if I walk outside in a thunderstorm.

In the darkness, the road back to the rental house suddenly became very long, which made me feel that there was no end in sight.

Dad is a madman, and he doesn't know to bring an umbrella even if it's raining.

Along the way, I covered my ears and bowed my head and walked forward quickly, sometimes trotting.

Dad followed behind with my schoolbag, and I reminded him not to go under the tree from time to time.

At an intersection, the red light came on.

I stopped at the intersection, and the thunder continued.

When waiting at a red light, I especially like to think wildly, and that day was the same.

I have been walking for so long, why is it still not raining.

It stands to reason that in the past, after a few muffled thunders, the rain began to pour.

Suddenly, I had an idea, could it really be such a coincidence that it started to rain when I stepped into the rental house?
can you?God, did you hear my request?

Please, please don't rain, let me go to the rental house smoothly.

A flash of lightning flashed and the green light came on.

I started trotting again, and my dad ran with me.

From time to time on the road, there will be stray cats running away, and I am in the same embarrassment.

The fear of night and thunder made me feel like I was doing a real-life Temple Run.

Finally, I saw the door of the rental house.

As soon as the front foot stepped into the rental house, there was a clatter behind it, and it started to rain heavily.

"It's a coincidence that it's raining. If I'm too late, I'll be drowned." Dad took a breath and began to touch the key to open the door.

In an instant, I became emotional.

I know this is a coincidence, and there are many, many other similar coincidences in the world.

But when it really happened to me, I like to regard it as my own good luck.

I lay on the balcony and watched the rain outside, feeling incredible and grateful.

If the rain hits my body, I'm afraid my newly washed hair will suffer.

In the collection of the most annoying things in high school, there must be one that just washed my hair and got wet in the rain.

In the evening I opened my diary and wrote this sentence: Today I had a short conversation with the god. I told him that I hope it will not rain before I return to the rental house. He replied with a lightning bolt, agreeing. ——The evening of August 2020, 8
I later planned to share this matter with others, but I also felt that they might not think it was a magical thing, or they might not be interested in hearing it at all.

So, just write it here.
