Warhammer 40: Gods Of Mortals

Chapter 1133: The Choice of the Clone Primarch

Chapter 1133: The Choice of the Clone Primarch

This decision, which seems to respect personal wishes, is just a formality.

Horus wanted all his clone brothers to go with him to find Lord Talon, and then enter the warp with Lord Talon and embark on a road of killing gods with an unknown end.

As a manager, Horus also knew how to get his other brothers to agree.

Even these brothers may not all be willing to enter the subspace.

"You're asking us?" Guilliman crossed his arms and looked up at Horus. "You've already made your own decision! Let me guess. You must have promised Lord Talon that all of us will go to the warp with him, right?"

Horus looked down at Guilliman and nodded. "Yes. But I think this is our best option. If you are not stupid, you should come to the same conclusion as me."

"Bullshit!" Guilliman slammed the tactical table excitedly, "I'm planning to go into seclusion, why do you make the decision for me?"

"You want to live in seclusion?" Horus frowned. "A superman like you, you decide to give up everything you have, give up your talents, give up your duties, and run away to become a farmer?"

"If everything is over, why can't I? Just because I am the Primarch, I have to work like a slave all the time? What's more, I am a clone!" Guilliman argued.

Horus wanted to say something more about responsibility, but suddenly felt it was unnecessary.

Because that's how Guilliman is, he may want to escape, but he will take responsibility.

So Horus said something else: "We should stay together, no matter what we decide to do. You know, we are..."

"Come on!" Guilliman said, looking at the other brothers, "Lord Talon certainly didn't let all of us follow him into the warp. This guy made the decision on his own. He wants to take credit!"

When Guilliman said this, the other Clone Primarchs turned their heads away, thinking that Guilliman's words were too harsh.

But I can also understand Guilliman.

When he learned that he was a clone, Guilliman no longer concealed his true wishes, and at the end of the war he began to prepare for seclusion.

He ran a business, and after it grew big enough, he sold it to a buyer and made enough money.

He chose a beautiful uninhabited world and planned to form a colony to go there, purchase the development rights, and own that world forever.

And when all this was ready, Horus told him that he could not stay in seclusion, he had to go to the Warp, that disgusting place filled with the sorcery energy he hated, and stay there until he knew when he could come out.

"Calm down, Robo." Horus tried to soothe him. "I..."

"Don't call me that." Guilliman pointed at Horus, his eyes fierce. "Only my adoptive mother can call me that."

Horus was silent, spread his hands and sighed.

In the end, he did not force Guilliman, but simply said: "Guilliman, if you have made up your mind, then leave. I will not stop you. You can do what you want. I believe that Lord Talon will not deny your choice."

Guilliman turned and walked away.

Looking at his back, Horus continued, "But we are born different. Even if we are clones, there are some things that we cannot abandon. That's all I can say."

Guilliman seemed not to have heard and did not even turn his head.

The cloned Primarchs watched Guilliman leave, then turned their attention to Horus.

Horus shrugged and shook his head slightly.

The other cloned Primarchs did not have similar plans like Guilliman. Although they might be dissatisfied with having to enter the Warp in the future, but... apart from the Warp, apart from embarking on the path of killing gods, where else can they go, and what other path can they take?
Horus waved his hand to signal his brothers to leave. When he was the only one left in the bridge, he turned on the communication device and connected with the Lord of Talon who was far away in the Orpheus star zone.

When the communication was connected, Qin Mo's projection appeared in the bridge and he said, "Come and join me. I still need to meet a few more people and do a few more things before I can enter the subspace and officially start the career I want to do."

"How long will we remain in the Warp?" asked Horus.

"I don't know." Qin Mo confessed, "Maybe it will be a thousand years in the real universe, maybe ten thousand years, maybe a hundred thousand years, a million years, or tens of millions of years... When the gods perish, that's when I will leave the subspace and return to the real universe."

Horus nodded.

He didn't mention anything about Guilliman, as if his brothers had already promised him that everyone would enter the warp and accompany Qin Mo to start the great cause of killing gods.

However, Qin Mo could guess some things.

"I have prepared something for Roboute." Qin Mo waved his hand and passed a message to Horus.

Horus looked surprised after seeing this, then nodded to Qin Mo.

"Communication ended." Qin Mo raised his hand to cut off the communication.

……

The next day.

The cloned primordials planned to meet up with Qin Mo.

Horus was waiting for his brothers in the bridge.

The clone primarchs entered the bridge one by one, and when they came in, they showed their choice with their actions.

Guilliman and Corax were the last to enter.

Corax put his arm around brother Guilliman's shoulders, and Guilliman turned away from Horus as he entered the bridge.

But Guilliman still demonstrated his choice through his actions.

That is to follow Horus to find the Lord of Talon, and finally embark on the road of killing gods together.

As Horus thought, Guilliman was a man who wanted to live in seclusion, but could not completely rest assured to give up his duties.

"You cannot come with us to find the Lord of Talon," said Horus.

Guilliman looked up in surprise and looked at Horus in confusion.

"You have something else to do now." Horus raised his hand and displayed a projection in front of Guilliman. "Lord Talon created a world in the warp with a device called the Domination Engine. It is just like it and cannot be perceived or observed. That world is a beautiful garden world with birds singing and flowers blooming. It will also be our future home."

"Go to that world and sort everything out."

"When we finish our work in reality and enter the warp with Lord Talon, we will also go to that garden world."

"You will manage the supplies and logistics. If you want to farm, that's fine. Eating and resting in the warp can remind us where we came from. We are real creatures and we won't lose our identities in the warp."

Upon hearing this, Guilliman's eyes widened, and then his excitement was evident in his words.
