Chapter 85
Russell's hunch was roughly correct, but there was an error in timing.

Not long after the Bliss Ark left, an advance reconnaissance formation composed of three small frigates loaded with solar sails and singularity reactor batteries quietly entered this galaxy named "Derlovin" by the human empire with a beautiful arc.

The advance reconnaissance team of the Eldar clan followed a very standard detection process, and the shipboard holographic field generator was kept on throughout the whole process, alerting to possible threats.

Soon, they discovered the aborigines living on planets 3 and 4, and called these two planets "forest world" and "grassland world".

Like the Bliss Ark, this Eldar reconnaissance team discovered the deliberate nature of the Drovin galaxy while discovering the natives:
The two planets in such a perfect habitable galaxy are inhabited by the same kind of intelligent creatures that are both in an agricultural society and have no spaceflight capabilities. Moreover, the genes of this creature seem to have been edited, and its brain function is seriously inconsistent with their level of civilization development...

Just knowing this is enough to make the Eldar scouts on the advance reconnaissance ship think of many things.

A young Fordola ranger stood in front of the porthole of the "Star Sail" No. [-] frigate. In front of him was a forest world covered with verdant greenery. Under the brilliance of the stars, it refracted the fascinating beauty like jewels.

For the Ark Eldar wandering the stars, there is no more fascinating scenery than this.

In the breathtaking beauty, the ranger recalled what he knew from the prophet Salazar, about the future, about the prophecy of hope.

That prophecy came from the common mother of all Eldar, and it was more like a ballad than a prophecy, a lullaby sung to children:

"...In the Lost Dream Nebula, there is a continuous cemetery."

"It is a tomb that spans dimensions, burying an ancient civilization that has died; and a door leading to the 'Pure Land'."

"It is a pure land without worries and dirt."

"There, there is no endless pursuit of Slaanesh, and the dead clansmen no longer have to commit themselves to the infinite loop, making their souls cold and numb."

"There, there is no eternal burning of war, and children can sleep peacefully in the arms of their mothers."

"there……"

The rangers sang softly. The frigate Starsail [-] crossed the forest world and sailed towards the orange star in the center of the galaxy. Starsail [-] and [-] hovered over the two habitable planets respectively.

The division of labor in the advance reconnaissance team was very clear. While Star Sail [-] was going to investigate the large mechanical device located at the core of the galaxy, the rest of the team members also began to investigate the planet's natives.

Except for the two support personnel who stayed in orbit, the Ranger brigade in the frigate quickly parachuted to the planet, and quietly sneaked into the still very backward indigenous tribes.

The captain of the Eldar Rangers led his soldiers into pieces, quickly dispersed, skillfully hid in every corner of the aboriginal tribes, and patiently observed the daily life of these backward aboriginals without any trace.

Even during the observation process, the rangers tried to carefully use a very small part of their psionic energy to spy on their hearts.

This is something the proud Eldar could never do, but they must now.

The prophet Salazar learned from his mother's prophecy that if the Eldar want to be qualified to enter and control the pure land, they need to find a mysterious 'key' scattered somewhere in the starry sky.

The 'key' was made by the ancient civilization buried in this cemetery, and the aborigines in front of them, who are more brutal and vulgar than human monkeys, are the remnants of that dead civilization.

The Spirit Race believed that they might be able to get some clues about the "key" from these natives.

However, the descendants of this ancient civilization have degenerated far beyond the expectations of the Eldar Rangers.

The hundreds of ranger squads scattered among the various native tribes found nothing after several planetary rotation cycles.

In the process, they quietly kidnapped many indigenous villagers for brainwashing, but from the brains of these barbarians, what the Eldar can extract is only a large number of repetitive and boring meaningless memories about sunrise and sunset.

If it weren't for the traces of genetic modification left in their bodies, the Eldar warriors would even think that these aborigines were not the descendants of some ancient civilization, but real barbarian aborigines.

The two Fordora ranger brigades responsible for investigating the forest world and the grassland world respectively exchanged information, and learned that the other side also found nothing like themselves.

In the spirit of not returning empty-handed, the dispersed ranger team went to the indigenous tribes to capture some leaders called chiefs, and prepared to bring them back to the Arkworld to continue the next step of the investigation.

Afterwards, the rangers of the two brigades completed the assembly at the landing point when they came, waiting for the arrival of the evacuation transport plane.

But as the call signal was sent out, the time passed by every minute, but the transport plane never arrived.

Just as they were suspiciously preparing to send a signal to the clansmen who were manipulating the frigate to stay in orbit, suddenly, a loud noise interrupted their thinking.

"What's the sound—"

What happened next, even the nervous system of the Eldar, whose efficiency and precision far surpassed that of humans, could not respond in time.

It was the sound of cannon, a huge, deafening cannon.

The high-speed rotating destructive warhead descended from the sky with an unstoppable momentum, and the brave and skilled Fordola rangers quickly dispersed to make this shot fall into the air.

They escaped the first shelling, but that was of no consequence.

Because one after another, the sound of intensive guns was sounding from every direction, hot plasma, high-speed rotating magnetic rail bombs, fish-like bursts of grenades... Massive attacks came from every direction, instantly flooding the forest clearing where the Rangers were, making them understand the fact that they were surrounded.

This sudden attack was so ferocious, even with the vigorous and agile spirit race, the ranger brigade suffered heavy casualties after only one attack.

The open space where they were standing before was plowed through by overwhelming firepower in less than ten seconds. The soil dug up from the depths of the ground was emitting thick white smoke, and some stumps and broken arms were scattered on the scorched and molten land that was riddled with holes.

When the first wave of attack was over, the rumbling sound of mechanical operation sounded from the dense forest, and the invisibility field covering the machine dissipated at this moment, and the Eldar finally saw the true face of the attacker.

It was a huge silver-white humanoid machine, and the cannon muzzles on the giant's shoulders and waist were still fired, scorching and distorting the surrounding air.

"...Titan?"

Why is there such advanced combat equipment as Titans on this indigenous planet?
Before the spirit race could figure this out, another steel giant emerged from the invisible field.

Followed by the third, fourth... The emerald green forest was quickly replaced by icy metal. As far as the Eldar rangers could see, there was a steel forest made up of titan giant machines, which surrounded them layer by layer, without even a single emptiness of firepower.

"It's an honor, Alien, we dispatched 90 warrior-class Titans to purify your filthy lives..."
