Chapter 893: The Boss Team's First Action

Chapter 893: The First Action of the BOSS Team

Virgil's eyes suddenly became sharp, as if he could see through all the vanity.

Faced with the ninja tools flying towards him, he did not rush to dodge. Instead, he gently turned sideways in an almost leisurely manner. Those sharp shurikens and kunai seemed to have encountered an invisible barrier. They deviated from their original trajectories and either embedded in the soil or fell at his feet, posing no threat to him at all.

"Humph, a mere toy, you want to hurt me?"

Virgil's lips curled up with a hint of disdain, and then his figure flashed, and he shuttled among the Konoha Genin like a ghost, at a speed so fast that it was dizzying.

His movements were smooth and graceful, and every turn and every step seemed to contain some kind of indescribable rhythm, which was a superb embodiment of the art of combat.

When the Konoha Genin saw this, their faces changed drastically. They had never seen such a swift and powerful opponent.

For a moment, the originally orderly formation became chaotic. Everyone was trying to find Virgil's flaws, but found that they could not catch his figure at all.

The Yama Blade turned into a black lightning, drawing gorgeous arcs in the air. Every time he swung the blade, there was a tearing sound in the air, as if even the space was split open by his blade.

The ninjutsu and taijutsu of the Konoha Genin seemed so pale and powerless in front of Virgil. Their attacks were either easily resolved or they couldn't even touch the corner of Virgil's clothes.

"It seems that your so-called Hidden Leaf Village is nothing more than this."

There was a hint of contempt in Virgil's voice, but more of it was curiosity and desire to explore the unknown world.

He had no intention of actually harming these ninjas, he just wanted to gain a deeper understanding of this world and his own position in it through fighting.

The captain of the Chunin heard this and his face turned pale, but he did not give up. He knew that as the guardian of Konoha, he must protect the peace of this land, and he could not retreat even if the opponent was powerful.

So, he took a deep breath, and let the chakra surge in his body, preparing to perform even more powerful ninjutsu to fight Vergil.

"Wind Escape·Big Breakthrough!"

Following a low shout from the Chunin captain, a strong whirlwind suddenly erupted with him as the center, stirring the surrounding air into a boiling state.

This tornado is not only extremely fast, but also incredibly powerful.

However, faced with such a powerful ninjutsu, Virgil just smiled slightly, and gently swung the Yama Sword in his hand. A black sword energy was like a meteor that cut through the night sky, and instantly collided with the whirlwind.

"Boom!" With a loud bang, air waves spread and dust flew.

When the dust settled, everyone was surprised to find that the originally unstoppable whirlwind was actually cut off by Virgil's sword, while Virgil himself was still standing, with even the corners of his clothes not messed up at all.

"This...how is this possible?"

The captain of the Chunin looked at the scene in disbelief, his heart filled with shock and awe. He understood that the gap between him and Virgil was far beyond the simple level or strength.

"It seems that your Hidden Leaf Village is indeed an interesting place."

Virgil spoke again, and this time, his tone was more serious and expectant.

"Perhaps, I can find the answer I want here."

Virgil did not feel any of the familiar power from the Wind Style: Great Breakthrough just now.

Instead, it felt very strange. Of course, such an attack was nothing to Virgil, as he could easily break it apart.

"Red Fang, go back and tell the village that we are stopping him here!"

The chunin captain made the decision without further ado.

"Captain Qingfeng!"

A thin genin trembled.

"Go!"

The other Genin had no objection because they knew that Hongya was the fastest among them. Although the Chunin Captain was definitely faster than him, someone needed to intercept Virgil.

"Don't be nervous, I'm just asking for directions."

As he spoke, Virgil slowly put away his Yan Mo Dao and scanned everyone present. Genin Hongya turned and ran, and Virgil did not chase him.

"I want to know where this place is and who are you here?"

Virgil asked.

"Didn't I already tell you that this is the Hidden Leaf Village?"

The Chuunin Captain said in confusion.

"Not enough, I need more information."

Virgil shook his head.

Then Virgil got the general information about this world, and he left before the other party came back with reinforcements.

Upon hearing that the patrol team outside the Hidden Leaf Village had encountered a powerful invader, Konoha reacted quickly. The Uchiha Guard had already sent people out, and people from the patrol team and the Anbu also rushed over.

Someone who can be considered a strong enemy by a Chunin and several Genin, even if he is not a Jonin, is probably a special Jonin. Such an invader must not be taken lightly.

On the other side, Virgil tried to use the Yama Blade to cut space in the other world to see if he could maintain his power.

As a result, the Yama Blade easily cut through the space, forming a cross-shaped space crack, and then the space crack tore and expanded into a huge passage, and Virgil walked in.

Boros and the others were already waiting there.

When Virgil appeared, they all looked over at the same time.

Virgil also determined from this point that Wesker was not a simple person either.

"How is it going? What information did you get?"

Wesker asked.

"I just met some ninjas from the Hidden Leaf Village and learned some general information about this world from them."

Virgil said calmly.

"Konohagakure is the most powerful of the five hidden villages in this world, but the power of the ninjas is just that."

Boros said with disdain.

"Yes, the ninjas in this world are very strong, but we, the BOSS team, don't take them seriously."

Wesker said with a smile.

"What's next?"

Virgil still doesn't know how to complete the mission, otherwise he wouldn't mind leaving them behind and doing it alone.

"Since this is an exploration mission, we can't act rashly, lest we change the plot and increase the difficulty."

Wesker thought for a moment and said that this was to prevent Virgil from starting a killing spree every time he arrived in a world, and to plant a setting in his mind in advance.

"Change the plot?"

Virgil got the point.

"Yes, most worlds actually have plots, which are the information that can be seen in the main god space. I haven't seen this world, but it should be this type of world."

Wesker nodded.

"I ate a ninja and learned information about this world."

Alex suddenly spoke up.
