I can talk to my internal organs

Chapter 258: Severe deficiency of kidney essence

Chapter 258: Severe deficiency of kidney essence
Lujiu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

Department of complex diseases, outpatient department.

A group of disabled people gathered here, all receiving treatment from Lu Jiu.

Today is Lu Jiu’s free clinic time!

Several departments are also conducting free clinics, so there are many more patients coming to the hospital today than usual.

"Can I hear you clearly now?"

Lu Jiu leaned over and spoke into the ear of the patient in front of him. His voice was two or three times louder than usual. It could almost be described as shouting.

The patient tilted his head slightly, with confusion in his eyes. It was obvious that he could feel Lu Jiu talking next to his ear, because he could feel the breath, but he could not hear the sound at all.

"It shouldn't have been as serious a year or two ago." Lu Jiu turned his head and looked at the patient's mother.

Tao Yuting nodded, "A few years ago he could barely hear us talking, but then he gradually had to shout, and then it became increasingly difficult to hear. He didn't respond no matter what we said."

Lu Jiu asked, "Did you have tinnitus at the beginning?"

Tao Yuting said, "Yes, he always said that there was always a buzzing sound in his ears, especially at night, which was so noisy that he couldn't sleep at all."

"During that time, his academic performance also declined drastically. We had no choice but to go to the hospital. The doctor said we could only try taking medicine, but then his ears became worse and worse and he couldn't hear the teacher's speech in class. , he couldn’t hear what his classmates were saying.”

"The child kept crying and said that his classmates at school laughed at him for being deaf and he didn't want to go to school. Some classmates even bullied him, blocking him in the toilet, scolding him, and beating him. Later, his ears became worse and worse. The only way we can do it is to take a break from school with the teacher."

"This break lasted for more than a year, and my family spent a lot of money to treat him well. Recently, we decided to take out a loan to get him a cochlea, so that he could at least take the college entrance examination. However, our business has suffered losses in the past few years. He has too much money and cannot borrow money at all, nor can he get a loan. Doctor Lu, can his condition really be cured?"

Tao Yuting's son Zhong Dewen is not a member of the Disabled Persons' Federation, but because an uncle wanted to see a doctor, he told his mother by the way. As soon as they heard that it was a free clinic, they came over without any hesitation.

"Don't worry, I'll take his pulse first to see what specifically caused this disease." Lu Jiu said, then asked the boy to put his hands on the table and began to diagnose his pulse.

"Jingyue Quanshu" records: "Tinnitus should be differentiated between actual and actual conditions. Those who ring suddenly and loudly are more likely to be true; those who gradually ring and become softer are more likely to be false; those who are young and strong and have strong heat are more likely to be true; those who are moderately weak and have no fire are likely to be false; those who drink thick and heavy alcohol are likely to be false. Those with a lot of flavour, phlegm and fire will have excess; those with clear texture, fine pulse and a lot of substance, tiredness and fatigue will have a deficiency."

The clinical manifestations are usually sudden tinnitus, high-pitched sound, or continuous attacks. Before the onset, there is often a history of anger, drinking, and exogenous six evils.

"The Essentials of Danxi Treatment" mentions "deafness, tinnitus, phlegm, and fire".

Therefore, the symptoms are mostly caused by wind-heat evil, or fire-heat evil burning the liver and gallbladder, or phlegm-fire blocking the ear orifices, blocking the passage of Qi, and blocking the meridians, resulting in tinnitus and deafness.

In addition, "Yi Lin Gai Cuo" also said: "The small tubes in the ear holes lead to the brain, and there is blood stasis outside the tubes, which are closed by squeezing the tubes, so deafness occurs." Deafness can also occur when blood stasis blocks the meridians.

Deficiency syndrome mostly manifests as tinnitus that lasts for a long time, comes on and off, is soft and tinny, and lingers. It is often combined with underlying diseases, or the elderly have a history of long-term medication, fatigue, and staying up late.

The kidneys open to the ears, so kidney deficiency should first be considered for deficiency syndrome. Deficiency of kidney essence and qi cannot nourish the ear openings, causing hearing loss, resulting in tinnitus and deafness.

Secondly, "Treatise on the Causes and Symptoms of Various Diseases" records that "when blood Qi is insufficient, the Zongmai will be weak, and wind evil will take advantage of the deficiency and enter the ears along with the pulse, and the Qi will attack each other, so it is tinnitus." It is believed that when blood Qi is deficient, wind evil can take advantage of the deficiency and enter the ears, causing tinnitus. Over time, it may affect hearing and lead to deafness.

But the essence of Qi and blood deficiency is actually spleen deficiency.

It is said in the "Huangdi Neijing" that "if the spleen is not good enough, it will make people confused."

The spleen and stomach are acquired foundations, the source of qi and blood biochemistry. If the spleen is sufficient, the essence of water and grain can be transported, transformed and transported, and the clear orifices such as ears and eyes can be nourished, the functions of the organs will be normal. Otherwise, the ears will be deaf and the eyes will not be clear.

Therefore, identifying the pathogenesis through syndrome differentiation is the key to the problem.

Whether it is the invasion of external evils, kidney deficiency, or spleen deficiency must be carefully considered.Otherwise, the root cause of the disease cannot be found, and all subsequent treatments will be in vain.

This was Lu Jiu's first time treating a deaf patient, so he was particularly serious about syndrome differentiation.

"Oh, he wanted to go to bed late at night last night. When I wanted to eat in the morning, he kept sleeping. If he continues like this, my damage will be more serious. Can any of you remind him?" Earth Road.

"There's nothing you can do about it. Did you make him hungry enough?" Gan Mu said.

"Of course not. It's not like you don't know. He's always in a bad mood, which affects me very much. He thinks so much every day, which is just interfering with my work. He doesn't eat when the time comes, which makes me unlucky. Transformation, there is not enough Qi and blood in the first place, if we continue like this, we will all suffer." Pi Tu said.

"It's useless. The reason why he is in a low mood now is because his ears are closed. If this problem is not solved, he will remain like this." Xinhuo said.

"But isn't this just causing trouble? His ears are closed, and he has to rely on the five of us to help him. It's good for him. He thinks randomly every day, stays up late at night with self-indulgence, and doesn't eat on time. Isn't this intentional?" road.

"Even if he eats on time, doesn't stay up late, and doesn't think wildly, we can't return to full condition." Xinhuo said.

"Why?" Pitu said.

"There have been serious problems with the circulation between us. The kidney essence is severely depleted. If the kidney water is to be restored to its full state, it is not enough to rely on these alone." Xin Huo said.

"Then what should we rely on?" Pitu asked.

"I don't know." Heartbroken.

"This...Shen Shui, please say something, Shen Shui!" Pitu said.

"..." Kidney said.

"He is too tired to speak now." Gan Mu said.

"Ah?" Pitu said.

……

Kidney essence deficiency?

This kid is only in high school, so why is he suffering from severe kidney essence deficiency?

Could it be that he is another young man who is deeply involved in craft work?
wrong!

Reading the pulse seems to be more than just a craft job.

This child seems to have insufficient innate talents, and also has the phenomenon of long-term overwork. You can tell this by looking at his hair. Young men with white hair usually have a deficiency of kidney essence, because those with kidneys tend to develop their essence.

People with good kidneys have shiny black hair.

It’s not surprising that Jiulao is so stressed out. Today’s students are under too much pressure and their rest time is extremely short.

Not to mention high school, even junior high school is very busy now.

Gee!
Innate talent is insufficient, coupled with manual work and long hours of work, it is no wonder that the kidney essence will be severely depleted. With so many debuffs added to the kidney essence, it will be a ghost if it is not depleted!
