Chapter 425 Seed
Chapter 425 Seed
Kui Niu said with a smile on his lips: "To overcome the sufferings of the world and relieve the disasters of living beings. The young monk has such a big wish!"
Bodhidharma clasped his hands together and said: "Amitabha, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has something to say: If I don't enter hell, who will go to hell, and hell will not be empty, and I will never become a Buddha. The young monk is willing to imitate Bodhisattva and eliminate disasters for living beings."
After hearing this, Kui Niu burst into laughter and said, "I will never become a Buddha until hell is empty! What a great wish! But, little monk, do you know what will happen to this world if hell is empty!"
Bodhidharma was startled. He had never thought about this problem before.
Kui Niu continued: "The flow of cause and effect and the reciprocation of reincarnation are the principles of heaven and earth. Endless creatures in the world all have reincarnation. If hell is empty, reincarnation will inevitably collapse! Once reincarnation collapses, the living souls will have nothing to rely on, and it will be like in ancient times. Generally, it completely dissipates in the world. Empress Pingxin opened up reincarnation in the underworld to provide a glimmer of hope for endless creatures. Hehe! If hell is empty, evil ghosts will wander around the world. Is this ambition really worth it? "
Kui Niu's words made Bodhidharma sweat on his forehead!
Bodhidharma has never thought about what Kui Niu said, nor dared to think about it. Although Bodhidharma knew that Kui Niu was blaspheming Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Bodhidharma felt that Kui Niu's words were not unreasonable.
Seeing Bodhidharma sweating on his forehead, Kui Niu continued: "Little monk, do you know that yin and yang are the avenue of heaven and earth, and reproduction is the instinct of living beings. Buddhism teaches people to become monks and cut off worldly sentiments. But if all living things in this world are like puppets on strings If one is ruthless and unfeeling, and no longer has children, what future will the world have even if it turns into a Buddhist kingdom?"
If Kui Niu's words just now made Bodhidharma sweat on his forehead, now he is hitting Bodhidharma's chest with a sledgehammer!
In confusion, Bodhidharma felt that Kui Niu's words were contrary to what he had learned about Buddhism. However, there is nothing wrong with what Kui Niu said. If the creatures in the world are heartless, sexless, and heirless, would everything in the world be transformed into a Buddhist kingdom? Is it really good?
Did Buddhism still have a future at that time?
Is this what you are pursuing?
Seeing Bodhidharma's brows furrowed and sweating profusely, Kui Niu was ready to strike while the iron was hot to break Bodhidharma's state of mind: "Little monk, Buddha said that all living beings are equal, but the Buddha, Bodhisattva, Arhat, and Vajra in Buddhism are all hierarchical; Buddha preaches and teaches. All sentient beings, but the Buddha saved a few people; the people worked hard, but the monks did not produce, but enjoyed the offerings of believers; the people worshiped the Buddha, but if there was no incense, the Buddha would be like a angry-eyed Vajra."
"Hey! The cause and effect in the world is governed by heaven, and the sufferings of the people are intertwined with good and evil. Why does the Buddha need to come to save them! A Buddhist saying: Put down the butcher knife and become a Buddha immediately. This will enable the evil ones to escape punishment, and the suffering people will have difficulty redressing their grievances. It is difficult for good people to achieve good results. , There will be no evil consequences for evildoers. Doesn’t Buddhism’s transformation go against the common principles of heaven and earth?”
Kui Niu's words were like sharp arrows piercing Bodhidharma's heart!
I don't know how long it took, Bodhidharma with a struggling face looked at Kui Niu and said with difficulty: "Venerable?"
Before Bodhidharma could say anything, Kui Niu shook his head and said: "Little monk, the truth in the world is unclear. Buddhism is originally composed of eight hundred sects and is not the authentic Taoism. The teachings are contrary to the principles of heaven and earth, which is normal. The cause and effect of all living things in the world Entanglement can be taught but cannot be overcome! I will teach the world and find a chance for living beings. This is the great way of heaven and earth! The cause and effect of living beings should be resolved by themselves, so why do outsiders need to intervene!"
"It can be taught, but not crossed! It can be taught, but not crossed!" Bodhidharma muttered Kui Niu's two sentences, his eyes getting brighter.
Kui Niu: "Yes, you can teach but you can't cross! There is no one who can cross in the world, and there is no one who can't be taught. All living beings are created by cause and effect, and they can cross by themselves!"
Bodhidharma murmured to himself: "Cross it by yourself! Cross it by yourself! It is better to teach a man to fish than to teach him to fish, that's how it is!"
Kui Niu narrowed his eyes and asked, "Little monk, do you know what a Buddha is now?"
Bodhidharma nodded, his eyes gradually becoming firm: "I am a Buddha, Your Majesty is a Buddha, and all living beings in the world are Buddhas!"
Kui Niu clapped his hands and laughed, "Monk is so understanding!"
Bodhidharma said softly: "All living beings in the world are Buddhas, and all heavens and worlds are spiritual mountains. The Buddha has already been accomplished, so why do we need to transform!"
Kui Niu asked with a smile: "What is Buddhism?"
Bodhidharma: "Practice is Buddhism, eating is Buddhism, farming is Buddhism, and having children is Buddhism. All living things in the world are Buddhas, and everything they do is Buddhism!" Kui Niu laughed and said: "Little monk, cause and effect are intertwined. By chance, if you have such an understanding, there will definitely be a place for you in Buddhism in the future!"
Bodhidharma saluted Kui Niu with a solemn expression: "Thank you, Your Majesty, for your advice."
Kui Niu laughed and accepted Kui Niu's salute calmly.
As one of the most important disciples of Buddhism, it is impossible for Kui Niu to stop Bodhidharma from rebelling against Buddhism with just a few words.
Kui Niu's ability to integrate the teachings of Jiejiao into Bodhidharma's philosophy and let him practice it is already an extraordinary means!
Nothing in this world happens overnight. Once a seed is planted, it will take root and sprout one day.
Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and several people rebelled and turned to Buddhism. It was when Saint Chunti was discussing Taoism in Kunlun Mountain that he planted the seeds of Buddhism in the hearts of several people. Later, these seeds blossomed and bore fruit, further promoting the prosperity of Buddhism.
Kui Niu's move is to imitate what Saint Zhunti did back then!
Of course, what Kui Niu saw was Bodhidharma's own extraordinaryness, while Zhu Qi was planning Zen Buddhism and the layout of the next catastrophe.
Yes, what Kui Niu and Bodhidharma said was what Zhu Qi had instructed in advance!
Although Kui Niu didn't know why Zhu Qi valued Bodhidharma so much, Zhu Qi always made decisions before acting.
Although Kui Niu didn't understand, Kui Niu knew that Zhu Qi would never harm himself or Jie Jiao.
In the main hall of Sanxian Island, Kui Niu took over a jade talisman with a smile on his lips.
I caught a big fish this time!
Buddhism values Bodhidharma far more than Kuiniu expected. He never expected that Maitreya Buddha would come in person!
The jade talisman just now was sent by Master Yu Heng. Master Yu Heng was one of the great powers in the South China Sea. Since Jie Jiao took over the South China Sea, Master Yu Heng tried his best to make good friends with Jie Jiao. This is an all-around man. Master Yuheng has extraordinary cultivation and is a strong man in the Daluo Golden Immortal realm. In order not to arouse the rejection of Nanhai Dagong, Jiejiao also actively responded to the goodwill of Master Yuheng.
In order not to cause misunderstanding among the Jiejiao, Maitreya Buddha specially asked Master Yuheng to send a greeting card. Invite Kui Niu to talk about the South China Sea! Of course, only Maitreya Buddha himself knows whether he is worried about Jie Jiao's misunderstanding or whether Jie Jiao will leave him in the East China Sea.
After Jie Jiao's rise in the immortal world, his behavior changed drastically!
For example, before the Great Tribulation of the Gods, the Jie Jiao disciples who were extremely public in all the worlds are now nowhere to be seen.
Although the current Jiejiao has territories in all four seas and two continents. However, Jie Jiao's disciples are extremely low-key, and the various forces in the Earthly Immortal Realm really don't know much about Jie Jiao.
Since the rise of Jie Jiao, various forces have always looked at Jie Jiao as if they were seeing flowers in a fog.
Even Master Yuheng, who is actively moving closer to Jie Jiao, does not know the specific strength of Jie Jiao in the South China Sea, let alone Maitreya Buddha, the hostile force of Jie Jiao. After the Luoxia Mountain incident, Maitreya Buddha was very cautious when facing the Jie Jiao.
