After discussing the Tao with him, I admired Mr. Bodhidharma very much. I was a friend, so I invited him to the East China Sea. I wanted to send a message to Lingshan to tell Bodhidharma that he had gone to the East China Sea, but I didn’t expect that he alerted the Buddha. It’s a sin! A sin!”

Maitreya Buddha said with a smile: "It is also a good fortune for Bodhidharma to be valued by fellow Taoists!"

However, although the smile on Maitreya Buddha's face did not diminish, he was also complimentary and polite. But Kui Niu had already been scolded in his heart.

About meeting Bodhidharma by chance; about inviting him to the East China Sea; about telling Lingshan where it is; Maitreya Buddha didn't believe a word of what Kuiniu said.

The place where Bodhidharma taught and practiced his teachings was a remote place in Nanfangbu Continent that he personally selected. If Jie Jiao hadn't already targeted Bodhidharma, how could Bodhidharma have been abducted to the East China Sea! Also, you, a Jiejiao headmaster, don’t sit in the East China Sea, but you want to travel to the immortal world. Is this a lie? Moreover, the Earthly Immortal Realm is so big, the probability of encountering Bodhidharma by chance is too low!

Although Kui Niu told half truth and half lies, Maitreya Buddha didn't believe it at all.

Maitreya Buddha continued: "Fellow Taoist, since Bodhidharma has not harmed the harmony between the two religions, it is best! Bodhidharma has been lingering in the East China Sea for many days, and we can no longer disturb our fellow Taoists' practice. I will Bodhidharma brings him back to Lingshan."

Kui Niu shook his head and said: "To be honest with you Taoist friends, little friend Bodhidharma has extraordinary understanding. He has gained a lot from discussing Taoism with me several times. At this time, he is in retreat in the East China Sea. This time I should have brought little friend Bodhidharma with me and discussed it with me. We returned to Lingshan together. But little friend Bodhidharma and I hit it off immediately and couldn’t bear to ruin his practice, so I left him in the East China Sea for retreat! In this way, when little friend Bodhidharma comes out of seclusion, I can personally send him back to Lingshan!”

What Kui Niu said was reasonable and well-founded, but Maitreya Buddha was frightened when he heard it.

Bodhidharma is only a celestial being, although he is outstanding among similar disciples of Buddhism. However, how can a Celestial Immortal monk be worthy of discussing the Tao with a Daluo Golden Immortal? If Bodhidharma and Kui Niu really discuss the Tao, Kui Niu will definitely play tricks on Bodhidharma! Back then, when the Kunlun Mountains were discussing Taoism, Sage Zhunti was trying to trick Taoist Randeng and Taoist Cihang, but Maitreya Buddha knew it very well!

As for Kui Niu's statement that Bodhidharma is in seclusion in the East China Sea and cannot bear to ruin his practice, this is just Jie Jiao's excuse to detain Bodhidharma and threaten him!

In fact, the reason why Maitreya Buddha was frightened was because Bodhidharma was so important to the spread of Buddhism!

The Zen sect taught by Bodhidharma is the sect where the Buddhist sage has designated those who will be tribulations of the future calamity! In other words, Bodhidharma is not only related to the prosperity of Zen Buddhism, but also related to the great calamity that will happen in the future. This makes Maitreya Buddha not nervous. If the teachings of Zen Buddhism are contaminated by Jiejiao, there will definitely be twists and turns in the great tribulation in the future!

There are many internal schools of Buddhism, and the greatest luck in the rise of Buddhism lies in the direct lineage of saints. Bodhidharma and Zen are the sects prepared by saints for the rise of Buddhism.

Maitreya Buddha made up his mind that Bodhidharma is too important, no matter what the cost, he must bring Bodhidharma back to Lingshan! The East China Sea is not a good place!

Maitreya Buddha took a deep breath and said solemnly: "The Great Way is fifty, the Heavenly Way is forty-nine. Buddhism allows for the number of forty-nine."

In addition to the 152 disciples of the Jie Jiao who turned to Buddhism, there are still 649 disciples trapped in Buddhism. Maitreya Buddha said that he allowed 40 of the 649 Jie Jiao disciples. Nine Buddhas return to Jiejiao.

Seeing that the topic was getting to the point, Kui Niu also shook his head solemnly and said: "The way of heaven is lacking, and Jie Jiao's sentiments are not enough!"     If Maitreya Buddha does not come forward, and the forty-nine Jie Jiao disciples return, Kui Niu will naturally be satisfied. But now Maitreya Buddha comes to Nanhai in person, letting Kui Niu know that the importance of Bodhidharma to Buddhism is probably much more important than he thought.

Therefore, Kui Niu will never let go now.

Maitreya Buddha now also realizes that because of his appearance, Kuiniu pays more and more attention to Bodhidharma. Damo cannot give up. Therefore, Maitreya had to bite the bullet and add weight.

After thinking for a moment, Maitreya Buddha said softly: "Buddhism and Taoism have the same origin, and they all come from Xuanmen. Buddhism can allow the number of earthly evil spirits!"

Kui Niu's expression remained unchanged and he said softly: "Young fellow Bodhidharma has an extraordinary understanding and is indeed a good talent. I didn't know that the Buddha could part with him and allow Bodhidharma to join the Jie Sect."

Although Maitreya Buddha knew clearly that Kui Niu was trying to provoke Bodhidharma with his words. However, people are pitted against each other, and Maitreya has no choice but to give in.

In addition, the return of the three thousand Jiejiao disciples is something agreed upon by the saint! Therefore, in the eyes of Maitreya Buddha, these 649 Buddhas will return to Jiejiao sooner or later! There was only one Dama, so Maitreya did not dare to bet.

Maitreya Buddha frowned and said: "Tiangang and Earth are one and the same. I don't know what friendship means!"

When Kui Niu saw Maitreya Buddha frowning, he also knew that the heat was coming, and said softly: "Tiangang and Disha are originally constellations of stars. There are 365 stars in the sky. The two religions of Buddhism and Buddhism have a long history. How about taking the perfect number in the sky!"

Maitreya Buddha promised the return of 1,000 disciples of Tiangang Disha, and he was already under tremendous pressure. Unexpectedly, Kui Niu had such a big appetite that he actually wanted 365 Buddhas.

Although these Jiejiao disciples are destined to return to Jiejiao. However, as long as these Jiejiao disciples stay in Buddhism for one day, Jiejiao will have scruples about Buddhism! At least, Jiejiao will not attack Buddhism without any scruples.

With the great calamity approaching, is Buddhism still prepared to use these Buddhas to contain and restrain the teachings? Unexpectedly, Kui Niu directly asked for 365 statues.

Maitreya Buddha frowned, his face changed, and after a long time he sighed softly: "Then I will follow you, fellow Taoist!"

Kui Niu was overjoyed and said: "Okay!"

To be honest, Kui Niu really didn't expect Maitreya Buddha to be able to cope with the number of the next week. What an unexpected surprise!

Immediately afterwards, Maitreya Buddha continued: "Since Buddhism has promised Zhou Tianzhi to fellow Taoists, before the end of the next great tribulation, Jiejiao will not take action against my Buddhist disciples in Nanfangbuzhou again!"

Kui Niu refused Maitreya Buddha's conditions without even thinking about it.

If we can't take action against the Buddhist disciples in Nanfanbuzhou, what will happen to the remaining Jiejiao disciples? Will they stay in Buddhism until the end of the great tribulation?

With the wisdom of Maitreya Buddha, he naturally understood that Kui Niu could not agree to this condition.

Therefore, Maitreya Buddha continued: "In this case, Jie Jiao must not take action against the nine disciples appointed by my Buddhism before the end of the next great tribulation. I don't know what you think!"
