Chapter 770 Village
Hu Qian's words completely blocked the words of the Buddha Ran Deng. Even the sharp-tongued Buddha Ran Deng didn't know how to speak for a moment. Hu Qian glanced at the Buddha Ran Deng and continued with a cold face: "Daoyou Ran Deng, the White Tiger Realm will be completely closed, and my White Tiger Clan will not keep you."

Even though Dipankara Buddha was thick-skinned, Hu Qian's naked words of expelling him made him embarrassed. In Dipankara Buddha's mind, he could be a scoundrel to others. However, if others disrespected him, he would not be so indifferent.

Hu Gan's words clearly told the Buddha Dipankara that the tiger tribe had made up their minds and it was difficult to reverse their decision. The Buddha Dipankara could only bid farewell to Hu Gan and leave the White Tiger Realm. Although the Buddha Dipankara did not win back the White Tiger Tribe for Buddhism and resolve the misunderstanding with the White Tiger Tribe, this trip was not completely fruitless. The White Tiger Tribe closed the White Tiger Realm, which at least meant that the White Tiger Tribe would not disrupt Buddhism during the great catastrophe. After the great catastrophe, when Buddhism was at its peak, the White Tiger Tribe might not necessarily make things difficult for Buddhism.

The complete closure of the White Tiger Realm does not mean that the White Tiger Clan will not cause trouble for Buddhism during the Great Calamity. Previously, when Guanyin Bodhisattva urged the White Tiger Clan to enter the calamity, the White Tiger Clan that participated in the Great Calamity was not just the tiger demon in Shuangcha Ridge. Before Hu Qian prepared to close the White Tiger Realm, he had already informed those White Tiger Clan members who participated in the Great Calamity.

Given the White Tiger Clan's pride, even if a catastrophe of heaven and earth were to occur and it was Buddhism they would not remain indifferent.

The Shuangchaling incident ended in failure. But the White Tiger Clan's retreat to the White Tiger Realm did not disappoint those who were interested! Obviously, the rift between the White Tiger Clan and Buddhism has not been resolved, otherwise, the White Tiger Clan would not have terminated its cooperation with Buddhism and retreated to the White Tiger Realm.

Buddhism has become increasingly powerful in the universe over the years, and many forces in the universe are becoming more and more wary of Buddhism. Even the Jade Emperor, who is allied with Buddhism, does not want to see Buddhism becoming increasingly powerful. The White Tiger Clan is behind Buddhism, and the rift between Buddhism and the White Tiger Clan is something that all forces in the universe are willing to see.

Xuanzang traveled through mountains and rivers. Although the mountain road was difficult to travel, the journey was smooth because of the Eighteen Arhats' dedicated protection.

After leaving Shuangcha Ridge, the Eighteen Arhats were extremely careful. Although Xuanzang wanted to convert a few more demons in the mountains to enrich the Buddhist kingdom in his palm, the Eighteen Arhats, the Vajra, and the Kala had already driven away or killed all the demons within dozens of miles around Xuanzang, so Xuanzang had no chance at all. However, Xuanzang was not in a hurry. The journey to the west was long. If Buddhism wanted to complete the great catastrophe of heaven and earth, it had to return to the true nature and complete the eighty-one difficulties. The difficulty of Shuangcha Ridge was only the first difficulty of the great catastrophe of heaven and earth. There was still a long way to go.
One day, Xuanzang stood at the foot of the mountain, watching the smoke rising from the kitchen not far away, and a smile appeared on his lips. Since going deep into this uninhabited mountain range, it was the first time Xuanzang saw human habitation, and he was naturally happy. Although Jin Chanzi was a ferocious beast, he had been reincarnated into the human race for ten lifetimes, and Jin Chanzi had already become Xuanzang. Seeing the fireworks of the human world, how could Xuanzang not be happy!
Xuanzang stepped forward, and soon a village completely different from the human villages in Nanshanbuzhou appeared in front of him. Although this village was not big, it was built very solidly, and the houses were all built with stone slabs, like a castle!
Seeing this strange village, Xuanzang was not suspicious! This place is surrounded by mountains, poisonous insects, ferocious beasts, demons and monsters, so it is normal for this village to be built solidly!

Of course, under Xuanzang's observation, he had already determined that this village was indeed a human village, not a demon or ghost illusion! The Eighteen Arhats accompanied Xuanzang. If this village was a place where demons lived, the Eighteen Arhats would have leveled it long ago, and they would not have waited until Xuanzang arrived.

The whole village was surrounded by a stone wall. Xuanzang found the main gate of the village while it was still dark. He knocked on the door and said, "Amitabha, benefactors, I am passing by your precious place. It is getting late. I wonder if I can stay here for one night!"

Xuanzang's words quickly made the quiet village lively.

In less than half an incense stick of time, Xuanzang outside the door heard a burst of hurried footsteps, and then the village gate opened!

The burly man in tiger skin who was leading the group said in a loud voice: "Master, please forgive me. Our village is very remote and few outsiders come here. Please forgive me for my negligence."

Looking at the burly man in the lead and a group of tough villagers, Xuanzang's eyes flashed, and he immediately had a guess in his mind!

Previously, although Xuanzang knew through his Dharma Eye that this village was a human tribe, he was also curious about why the villagers would build a village here, as it was surrounded by mountains, the mountain roads were difficult to travel, and the connection with the outside world was poor. Moreover, there were poisonous snakes and fierce beasts in the mountains, and demons and ghosts were rampant in the mountains.

But when he saw these villagers who looked strong and sturdy, Xuanzang seemed to understand the reason. "Amitabha, I am sorry for disturbing you, the donors!"

The big man laughed and said, "It's quiet in the mountains, there's nothing to disturb. Please come in, Master!" With that, the big man warmly welcomed Xuanzang into the village.

In the center of the village, there was a stone courtyard with three entrances. It was the home of the burly man! The villagers who were watching dispersed when they saw Xuanzang being taken home by the man.

In the main hall, Xuanzang talked with the burly man for a while, and then one or two young men brought hot meals!
The big man smiled and said, "Master, it's getting late. These are the only food we have at home. Please make do with them for one night. I will host a welcoming party for you tomorrow!"

Before Xuanzang could say anything, a voice came from outside the hall: "You lazy thing, the master is a monk, how can you eat these meats?"

Hearing this, the big man hurriedly stood up and took a few steps forward, supporting an old woman with gray hair and said, "Mom, it's so late and you're still not asleep!"

The old woman ignored the big man's concern and took a few steps forward and said, "Master, my son is lazy and offended you. I hope you can forgive me!"

Xuanzang quickly stood up and said in return: "Amitabha, the donor has a kind heart and is doing a meritorious deed! How can you say that you are offending me!"

The old woman smiled and said, "Master, you are so generous. I know that Buddhist precepts prohibit the consumption of meat and fish. I will prepare vegetarian food for you!"

Xuanzang bowed to the old woman and said, "Thank you very much, benefactor!"

At this time, the big man slapped his forehead and said, "Master, please forgive me. There are many wolves, insects, tigers and leopards in the mountains, and I have prepared more meat at home. I have neglected the Buddhist precepts, please forgive me."

Xuanzang chuckled and said, "Your kindness in taking me in is already very kind. I am extremely grateful. How can I ask for forgiveness?"

After a few people chatted for a while, the meat on the table in the hall was quickly removed and replaced with a bowl of vegetarian noodles. Xuanzang saw clearly that this big man's family used to eat mainly meat, but today, in order to entertain him, he even washed the bowls and chopsticks with hot water several times. His heart was sincere!

Xuanzang enjoyed a bowl of vegetarian noodles with great relish!
With Xuanzang's current cultivation, a little food is really nothing to him! But the sincerity behind this bowl of plain noodles is completely different.
