Chapter 300: Angry Quirrell

Quirrell exuded a gloomy aura. He stared at Tom who walked out of the principal's office, wishing he could crush the young and handsome man in front of him to ashes.

"Isn't this the famous Mr. Voldemort?" Tom walked to Quirrell and said with a low smile:
"I didn't expect that after so many years, your taste has not changed, and you still have such a soft spot for bald heads."

"Tom!!" Quirrell growled, grabbing Tom by the collar, his eyes bulging, almost piercing Tom's cheek.

"What qualifications do you have to impersonate the title Voldemort! That belongs to me!"

"Oh." Tom let Quirrell carry him, with an expression like an innocent victim, "I actually didn't say I was Voldemort, I always asked them to call me Tom Riddle."

"It's all their fault for spreading lies and making you so angry."

"Look at my lovely and amiable Professor Quirrell, his forehead is red with anger."

"Shut up!"

"Why? I told the truth."

"You are just my Horcrux. Tom Riddle is me, and Voldemort is also me!" Quirrell was so excited that he spat, "You shameless thief, thief!"

"You use my face, you speak with my voice, and everything about you is mine."

"You despicable substitute, how dare you appear in public openly without my permission?"

Tom wiped his face with some disgust and forcefully opened Quirrell's hand.

He arranged his clothes, then picked up his suitcase and left.

"Stop!" Quirrell chased after him, cursing endlessly, with endless words, none of which were repeated.

"Okay, Professor Quirrell." Tom couldn't stand Quirrell's voice anymore.

He felt that there was a helicopter parked next to him, and the propellers were turning at the highest frequency.

"Let me just say this: How do you prove that I am not Voldemort?"

Quirrell's voice stopped suddenly. He opened his mouth, but before he could speak, Tom spoke first:

"Then, how do you prove that you are Voldemort?"

"Lord Russell told me that you cannot use the killing curse until certain harsh conditions are met."

"He actually told you this!?" Quirrell felt dizzy in his head. He calmed down and said calmly:

"I see, you want us to fight fairly, right?"

"Can't you use the killing curse? I can use this to expose you!"

Tom laughed and said nonchalantly: "So what if I can't use the Unforgivable Curse?"

"Times have changed, you backward old man."

"I don't have to use these. When I want to use them, my own subordinates will naturally use them. Who would doubt that a boss who can use the Unforgivable Curse on his subordinates doesn't do this?"

"You can't do it, right? Do you have any subordinates?"

Bastard Russell!

Quirrell cursed in his heart: Why not let this Horcrux become a good person! ?

However, he doesn't know that I can only do good things, otherwise, he will definitely laugh at me severely.

Quirrell changed his mind and felt much relieved.

He still has a chance to get his identity back.

Tom looked at Quirrell's gloomy face and pretended not to be able to bear it and comforted him: "Actually, if you think about it on the bright side, aren't the things I do equivalent to what you did?"

"This is different!" Quirrell interrupted Tom rudely, "I will keep an eye on you, Horcrux. If you show even the slightest flaw, you will be finished!"

"I need to remind you, Professor Quirrell." Tom said with a cold face, as if he was looking at an idiot, "You'd better not call me a Horcrux in front of outsiders."

"Do you think I am a fool, Horcrux?" "You are indeed not smart, Professor Quirrell. Think about what you have done before, pure blood ruling the wizarding world, this is such a political pursuit with no future."

Tom showed his disdain mercilessly, and Quirrell was so angry that he wanted to take out his wand and poke Tom in the butt!
"Look at me, after just two press conferences, Dumbledore had to invite me to Hogwarts."

"He even wanted to protect my safety, but he couldn't stop the undercurrent in the wizarding world."

Tom opened his hands and looked proud, "Can you understand this way of subverting the world, Professor Quirrell?"

Quirrell's face was livid and he said nothing.

One thing is that when Dumbledore asked him to spy on Tom with a serious look on his face, he felt a little secretly happy in his heart.

This expression of Dumbledore was only shown when he led the Death Eaters to ambush the Order of the Phoenix.

But with just one or two words, Tom made Dumbledore feel like he was facing a formidable enemy.

Apart from the curse, Quirrell knew for the first time that words could burst out with such power.

But what made him ashamed and humiliated was that he couldn't figure out why things turned out like this.

It is obvious that Tom is the split product of his own soul, but he can do things that the original body cannot.

What did Russell do to him?
What did he come into contact with after he became a complete individual?
Quirrell wanted to know, he also had to know this, otherwise, he might not be able to defeat his own substitute!
"I don't want to discuss this with you, Tom." Quirrell's expression suddenly calmed down, "I will take you to the staff dormitory, and you will live next to me."

Tom loosened his tie uncomfortably. He felt like he was being stared at by a beast hiding in the darkness.

The emotionally stable Quirrell put great pressure on him.

Russell did operate on Tom's soul, but Tom knew that he was born disabled.

And this disability has caused the only problem that he cannot solve by himself:

His upper limit of magic power is locked at his age and cannot be increased.

If Quirrell really attacked him, Tom would have no chance of winning.

Of course, if the person who did it was Dumbledore, Tom would also end up defeated.

But Dumbledore and Quirrell are different. The former is controllable, while the latter is moody.

To kill someone, you don't need the Unforgivable Curse, the Fire Curse, the Freezing Curse, etc. There are plenty of curses that can kill people.

As it happened, Voldemort was a master of many spells, not just the dark arts.

Tom kept calming the throbbing in his heart. He felt like he was dancing on the tip of a knife in front of Quirrell. If he was not careful, he would be pierced by the sharp blade.

He needs to be vigilant at all times without any let-up.

If possible, he would have liked to stay next to Dumbledore, but that was impossible.

Because Lord Russell asked him to bring changes to the wizarding world.

If the changes in the wizarding world satisfy Lord Russell, he will help Tom "upgrade" his soul.

When his magic power returns to its peak, he will be able to sleep peacefully.

"I hope we can get along well in the future, Professor Quirrell."

Quirrell looked at Tom's outstretched right hand coldly and strode away.

Tom shrugged, waved goodbye to Dumbledore who had just come out of the principal's office, and then strode towards Quirrell.

Dumbledore looked at Quirrell's back worriedly, his wariness towards Tom rising again.

And the guilt towards Quirrell became even stronger.
