Chapter 345 Lily's Resurrection
Although his resurrection was confirmed, Tom still felt very strange.

So did Sirius.

The two of them were touching James' body all over, as if they were playing with a toy they had never seen before.

"Ladies and gentlemen, although it may be a bit presumptuous, I still suggest that Mr. Potter put on his clothes first." Snape's cold voice came, and James and Sirius both paused.

"Oh, yes, James, you need to wear something."

"Do I need to wear it?" James put his hands on his waist, looked at Snape, and said, "Big Foot, why do you listen to Snape?"

"Be quiet, James." Sirius quickly put his suit jacket around James' waist, "Without him, you'd still be in the underworld!"

Besides, Harry was present, and Sirius didn't want Harry to know that his father was an exhibitionist.

"Well, I have to thank him." James thought about it and decided not to argue with Snape.

However, he looked around and didn't find any clothes, but he saw Harry, "Hey, hello."

"You look a lot like me, my young father or grandfather?"

Harry looked at Sirius helplessly and said, "Godfather, I think you can introduce me now."

Sirius coughed and said, "James, that's your son."

"My son!?" James took two steps forward, looked at Harry carefully, then turned back to look at Sirius and asked:

"Padfoot, how many years have I been dead?"

"11."

"11 years, um..." James hesitated for a moment and looked at Harry again, "Tell me, kid."

"Which brand of milk powder do you use in the wizarding world? I will definitely sponsor his business."

James knew that Sirius would not lie to him, but looking at Harry, who was as tall as him, he could only think of using a lame joke as a first goodbye greeting.

As James laughed, his nose began to feel sore.

He has grown so big and so tall.

He should be able to take care of himself.

11 years of living without a father should have made him accustomed to this kind of life without a father.

James hesitated.

He didn't want to be like an irresponsible adult - letting his child, when he grew up, develop feelings of dependence on and respect for a stranger who had not contributed anything in return.

James felt that he was not qualified and could not enjoy these things with peace of mind, but he really wanted them.

"Is your mother okay?" James wiped his eyes vigorously. He felt that he could reintegrate into his son's family with Lily's help.

"She was killed by Voldemort after you died, father. She finally fell in front of my crib and prevented Voldemort from taking another step towards me."

James was stunned.

Lily is dead too...

Yes, he should have thought of it earlier.

It was his fault. He failed to resist Voldemort. He was knocked down in one blow.

Then he thought of Harry, who lost his parents when he was born.

In these 11 years, this child has not grown up because of any milk powder, but because of countless hardships that forced him to grow up.

Tears suddenly plowed two transparent grooves on James' face. His incompetence as a husband and his dereliction of duty as a father left him at a loss.

"James, this is not your fault." Sirius put his arm around his brother's shoulders and said with a guilty look on his face, "It's all my fault."

"..." James clenched his teeth and said nothing.

Trying his best to suppress his resentment towards Sirius had taken over his last bit of rationality.

Even though he knew that the betrayer Wormtail was the culprit.

But if Sirius hadn't abandoned his responsibilities, perhaps none of this would have happened. James couldn't help but think so.

"That's all in the past, father." Harry's expression was calm. "I'm living well at Aunt Petunia's house, and they take good care of me."

"Godfather, you too, don't feel guilty about anything. Mom will be resurrected soon, and this world is still a beautiful place."

James looked at Harry blankly with red eyes.

The negative emotions in his heart just now were so great that they almost devoured his sanity.

He even almost attacked his own brother.

But what was extremely incredible was that his child's sensible and strong performance instantly swept away all the negative emotions.

Moreover, an inexplicable sense of honor welled up from the bottom of my heart, thinking that this is how the Potter family should be.

Soon, the pride and honor brought by this sense of honor were repelled by shame.

Harry actually had no choice, he could only become this kind of person.

Ultimately, it was his fault as the nominal father for not fulfilling his responsibilities.

"Harry, can I call you that?" James said after hesitating for a while.

"Of course." "I—"

"You don't have to apologize to me, my father." Harry seemed to be able to read James' mind and said directly: "You can't face me now, just as I don't know how to face you."

"I've gotten used to living with Aunt Petunia's family for the past 11 years. Perhaps you can try to join in with your mother who is about to be resurrected."

“Their house is still very big.”

"I--" James wanted to say something else, but he quickly realized that he had nothing to say.

So he had no choice but to nod and say, "Okay, I'll do as you say."

"Padfoot, how do we revive Lily? And how do we find Wormtail?"

Sirius looked at James, whose expression gradually hardened, with a look of relief on his face.

He pointed at Snape, who was carefully fiddling with the resurrection materials, and said, "It's up to Snape to resurrect Lily."

"And I killed Wormtail. I blew it to pieces!"

James frowned, looked at Snape's busy figure, and asked, "Why must he be the one?"

"Because there is a very important material in the resurrection ritual, and only Snape can provide it."

"what material?"

"Ah, this..." Even if Sirius had a low EQ, he knew that this was not something that could be said out loud, so he could only stammer, "You'll know when you see it."

"So, Padfoot. Is arranging those crystal bottles into a heart shape also a ritual?" James asked with some confusion.

"Uh, well, I guess so." Sirius lied and cursed Snape to death in his heart.

James was skeptical, and then felt a little dizzy.

His body swayed, and then was held by Sirius.

"James, you need to rest more. You have just been resurrected and your body is still very weak."

"I understand." James was in a trance, not sure if it was because he was too weak, but he felt that Sirius' body was a little too comfortable.

Snape finally began the resurrection ceremony.

Except for the placement of the spell materials being slightly different from Sirius, the rest of the process is similar to resurrecting James Potter.

However, when James heard the end of the spell, his face almost turned green.

If Snape hadn't turned around immediately after placing the mattress under Lily, James would have gone up and beaten the bad guy who was peeping at his wife's body.

After watching the veil of the underworld dissipate, Harry reached into his arms and pulled out a set of appropriate women's equestrian clothing and women's underwear. Then he waved his wand and the clothes were automatically put on Lily Evans.

Lily looked straight at Harry, and the first words she said after she regained her strength were: "Harry, my child, is that you?"

"Yes, mother, it is me."

Before Harry could answer, Lily's eyes were already blurred with tears. After hearing Harry's affirmative reply, she became even more emotional.

She ignored her weak body, got out of bed and ran towards Harry.

Harry's expression changed, and his body, which was about to move forward to respond, suddenly stopped.

The strong emotions in Lily actually forced the surrounding magic to support her body. Her original limit was only two steps, but now she managed to cross a distance of six meters and came in front of Harry.

No need to say or think too much, this is the greatest maternal love Harry has ever felt.

Harry removed the protective magic that had been coiled around his body to avoid harming his mother.

Lily hugged Harry tightly, rubbing his head with her cheek, and said with a sob: "Harry, my child! My child... Mommy misses you so much."

"Me too, Mom." Harry hugged Lily backhandedly, carefully experiencing this love which was slightly different from that of Aunt Petunia.

Just as a mother loves her child unconditionally, the child will embrace his mother without any defense.

As a father, James also understood. He just watched with satisfaction without any jealousy.

Lily hugged Harry for a while, then wiped her tears, held Harry's face, looked at him carefully, and became happier and happier as she looked.

"Evans." Snape spoke suddenly. His harsh voice destroyed the warm atmosphere between mother and son. James and Sirius glared at him immediately.

Snape ignored them and just asked himself: "What magic did you use to protect Harry that night?"

Sirius suddenly realized, and quickly covered James's hand as he was about to scold him, and quickly told him about Harry's condition.

After listening, Lily looked at Harry worriedly and said, "That's just an ancient magic that sacrifices one's life to protect another."

"If anyone tries to hurt Harry, this magic will take effect and will rebound the damaging spell."

This did not explain why Harry reacted to the Horcrux, and Snape fell into deep thought.

"By the way, Snape, why did you say Quirrell didn't attack Harry? What do you mean?" Sirius suddenly remembered something and asked.

"Yeah." Snape, who was immersed in thought, didn't think much and quickly replied: "Because he was once the container of the You-Know-Who's soul."

"What!?" Sirius, James and Lily shouted in unison. They quickly surrounded Harry and kept Snape, who now belonged to Hogwarts, out.

"What are you doing? Why are you looking at me like that?" Snape finally noticed something was wrong, woke up from his thoughts, and looked puzzled.
