Chapter 14 Filling in the Volunteer

Chapter 14 Filling in the Volunteer
In the morning, Keke scratched my face with his little paws, called me to get up, and then took him for a walk.I quickly washed up, put on my sports clothes, and then took Keke downstairs.

As soon as I arrived downstairs, I saw my father getting ready to go to work. I quickly ran to him and said, "Good morning, Dad."

Dad ruffled my hair and said, "Good morning Xiao Xian, Dad has to go to work." Then he picked up his briefcase and prepared to go out.

"Goodbye, Dad." Then he stood by the shoe cabinet and changed his shoes. When he was about to go out, his father turned back and asked, "Is it time for you to fill in your application today?"

I took out my phone and looked at the calendar. Well, it was true, "Yes, but don't worry, I can apply within a few days."

Dad said proudly, "My daughter is the top scholar in liberal arts in JS Province. It's not just a matter of choice which university she wants to go to."

I looked at my father and felt helpless, but since Uncle Li was still waiting outside the door, I urged him, "Dad, it's time to go to work. Uncle Li has been waiting for a long time, and even if you are not in a hurry, Ke Ke I’m all anxious to go out for a walk~”

I put Dad in the car and took Keke for a walk.

After walking the dog and eating breakfast, I went to practice driving as usual. The only difference was that I received Qin Xiaoxian's "Good morning" voice message on WeChat in the morning.

When we arrived at the driving school, the instructor arranged for us to take the exam for subject three. Since we both took the back door, the exam went very quickly and we will probably get the certificate in two days.

On the way home, I talked to Lin Lin about what happened yesterday, "Yesterday... Qin Xiaoxian confessed to me, but I didn't agree."

Lin Lin looked shocked, but quickly figured it out, "You think he is different on and off stage, right?"

I nodded, "I can't fall in love with someone I don't know about each other yet."

Lin Lin expressed her understanding, "Then let me guess again, Lao Qin hasn't given up, right?"

I rested my chin on my hands and replied, "Well, he said he would keep chasing me until I said yes."

Lin Lin continued, "It's also pretty good. During the time he was chasing you, he just got to know each other. And you can't let him go, maybe the two of you will be together."

I stopped talking, but I agreed with Lin Lin's words in my heart. I felt that I might not be able to resist Qin Xiaoxian's pursuit offensive.

After I got home, I saw my brother and Jiang Ling joking in the living room. I saw my brother coming back and hurriedly went up and sat next to him.

"Brother, when did you come back?"

My brother pinched my face and said softly, "I just came back not long ago."

I asked curiously, "Where's my surprise? And... where's my signature?"

My brother smiled fondly, "It's in your room."

I ran upstairs and entered the room eagerly.

After opening the door, I saw a little milk cat, my favorite ragdoll cat.It saw me entering the house, walked over, and rubbed my legs. I picked it up and talked about its fur, and it whimpered comfortably, "Meow~".

I carried it to the bed, picked up the book that my brother put on the bedside table, opened it, and what came into view was Lao Qin's signature, and the words, "Hello, future girlfriend, I am your boyfriend Qin Xiaoxian."

I stroked his words, thinking about his appearance, and chuckled.

"Meow~" The cat came over and rubbed my hand, stepped on the book with its little paws, and then sat down. It licked my hand, begging for a touch.

I picked it up, then stood up with the notebook, walked to the dresser, opened the drawer, looked at the items about Qin Xiaoxian in the drawer, put the signature notebook away, and closed the drawer.

I hugged Miaomiao and went downstairs, "Brother, why did you remember to buy me a cat?"

The elder brother closed the book and said, "I didn't buy it. My friend's cat gave birth to a kitten, so he gave me one. I thought you would like it, so I brought it back."

I squeezed Jiang Ling away, sat next to my brother and acted coquettishly at him, "Hey, brother is the best~"

Jiang Ling pouted, "Isn't it just a cat? Brother Yibai is still hiding it. I have to wait until you come back to see it."

Zhang Yibai glanced at Jiang Ling, "It's not for you, what are you looking at?"

Jiang Ling replied, "Are you curious?"

I watched the two of them quarreling, laughed, hugged Miao Miao and said to Ke Ke, "Ke Ke, this will be your sister from now on, called..." I thought I didn't know Miao Miao's name yet.

I tilted my head and asked my brother, "Brother, what's the cat's name?"

Zhang Yibai replied, "I haven't chosen a name yet. Please help it think of a name."

I scratched the cat's little chin, thought for a while, and said, "Hmm...how about toffee?"

There is no limit to a brother's love for his sister. Everything I said was right, "It's very good, she's very cute."

Jiang Ling looked at Zhang Yibai's unprincipled look and said speechlessly, "That's okay, but does Qin Xiaoxian have a dog named Milk Ball?"

Jiang Ling didn't tell me that I hadn't noticed it yet, so I touched Toffee's hand for a moment. Milk ball... Toffee... looks good, right?
Zhang Yibai looked at his sister's distraught look, sighed and shook his head, his sister still liked him.

Jiang Ling didn't say anything anymore, just scrolled through Weibo boredly, and when he saw a trending search about candidates filling in their volunteers, he asked, "Xiao Xianxian, have you volunteered with Lin Lin?"

I replied nonchalantly, "Several famous universities have called me, but I don't want to go. I am now torn between China Political Science and Law and Peking University."

Zhang Yibai looked at his sister's entangled look and expressed his opinion, "Just choose what you like. No matter what you choose, my parents and I will support you."

Listening to my brother's words, I felt warm in my heart, "Thank you, brother, then I'll report to China's political and legal affairs."

"Well, once you've decided, hurry up and apply."

I stuffed the toffee into my brother's arms and said, "Hold me for a while while I go fill out my application form."

Then I ran upstairs with a bang, returned to my room, opened my laptop, found the web page, filled out only the law major of China University of Political Science and Law, and submitted it.

I put away my computer, took out my cell phone and called Lin Lin.

Me: "Lin Lin, have you applied for a volunteer?"

Wang Linlin: "Yes, I majored in Diplomacy at Beijing Foreign Studies University. What about you, majored in Chinese Politics and Law?"

Me: "Well. Diplomacy? You really deserve to be a child who grew up in a diplomatic family, and you will eventually inherit the mantle of godfather and godmother."

Wang Linlin: "That's right."

Me: "It's great, so we can be in the same city again."

Wang Linlin: "Yes, Jiang Ling was also admitted to Tsinghua University's Business Administration program, and the three of us are together again."
