Chapter 4: Three Questions and Three Answers about Cihang

Cihang's cultivation base is low now, so naturally he can't notice that someone above the cloud is observing him through the formation in the island.

He is still earnestly explaining the Tao to the many living beings on the island. It is not easy for all living beings to cultivate the Tao. This opportunity is very rare, so Cihang patiently explains it over and over again.

The Tao emphasizes fate, but everyone has a different Tao in their hearts, and their understanding of fate is also different.

There are immortals and gods who understand fate like clouds and rain in the sky. It is fleeting. If you can't catch it, you can't catch it. There are Buddhas who understand fate like falling water and flowers. What should be yours is yours. No matter how it changes, it is also your fate;

Compared with Cihang, the fate in his heart is the tree, which can block the heat of the sun and give the living beings under it a shade. I will do my best to give all living beings equal fate, and do not worry about the few. All living beings, this is also the embodiment of his Cihang's spiritual practice. Cultivating one's own way and practicing one's own way is also a kind of practice.

A breeze suddenly blew from nowhere, causing ripples in the lotus pond.

A white crane that was quietly listening to Cihang's sermon slowly raised its head. There seemed to be flashes of spiritual light in its eyes, making it even more magical. Cihang naturally noticed this white crane.

"Senior, thanks to Senior's sermon, the boy has awakened his wisdom. He doesn't have to live in the same muddleheaded way as before, and eventually turn into dust and nothingness between heaven and earth. But I still have doubts in my heart. I don't know if Senior can explain something to me. two."

Cihang nodded slightly. This was the meaning of his sermon for all sentient beings. He hoped that all sentient beings in the world would not have to live in confusion. It was rare to meet Bai He who was so understanding of the nature of Taoism and spiritual wisdom in today's sermon. He was naturally happy in his heart. I have doubts in my heart, what reason is there to reject this white crane?
"You said, today I am preaching here to clear up the doubts of all sentient beings."

The white crane folded its wings slightly, lowered its head slightly, and began to express his question in a respectful manner, "Senior always talks about 'all living beings', so what are all living beings?"

This question is a bit profound. After all, the scope of sentient beings is too vast. Anyone’s understanding of sentient beings will be different when looking at it from different angles. Just like the leaves in the world, no matter how similar they are, you can carefully look at the leaves on them. The veins and veins of the leaves are all different for the same reason.

This is a question for cultivators, a question about the cultivator’s views on the living beings who practice Taoism and the living beings who are confused in the mortal world. It is also a torture of the cultivators’ Taoist heart.

Cihangzai looked at the white crane in front of him carefully. Baihe's whole body was surrounded by fresh air, and his eyes were shining. For a moment, Cihang understood the reason for everything. Some powerful senior must have taken advantage of Baihe. He was questioned by his mouth, but the powerful senior tested him in this way, so he would not do anything to expose it, but would go along with it.

"In my opinion, all living beings are like water. Water is changeable, just like all living beings. There are thousands of water flows in the world, with different shapes. Some are clear and clear streams, some are turbid and muddy, and some are fast-flowing rivers. Isn't a small stream of subtle and gradual drops the same as all living beings in the world?"

There was some imperceptible admiration in Bai He's eyes, and then it disappeared.

"Senior, do you dare to ask what a cultivator is?"

Each question is more difficult than the previous one. It is difficult for sentient beings to ask questions, but it is even more difficult for practitioners to ask questions.

A cultivator is transcended from the ordinary mortal beings, which is naturally more difficult to describe than being a sentient being. Cihang pondered in his heart, this senior really knows how to ask himself, but this is also a test for him, just like climbing a high mountain, one question after another. , is a progressive process.

There is no doubt that this is how one gradually ascends from sentient beings to cultivators.

"I feel that a cultivator is a mountain, and a cultivator cultivates the Dao. The indefinite number of Dao is infinite, and the Dao cultivated by the Daoist is also infinite. The infinite Dao has many changes. Besides, thousands of people who practice the same Dao are different from each other. Understanding is different, and those who are different from each other are just like many mountains in the world. Although they are all mountains, their shapes, trends and changes are all different. The shape of the dense canyon is different, but the appearance is the same; if the way is the same, the appearance is also different."

This is the cultivator, the cultivator is the mountain, and all living beings are the water. All of them are Cihang's understanding of the great path he cultivated in his past and present lives. In his previous life, Cihang devoted himself to various worlds 33 times for his own great path cultivation, and felt the difference in all beings in thousands of identities.

When Bai He heard Cihang's answer, his eyes flashed with a little bit of approval.

"Senior said that all living beings are like water and cultivators are like mountains. Then I dare to ask senior cultivators why they practice Taoism?"

Why do we practice Taoism? There are as many as the stars as to why we practice Taoism. However, why we practice Taoism has never been concluded. The answers are varied. We practice in order to feed the weak and to gain powerful power.

Cihang meditated for a long time this time, asking questions from easy to difficult, first to sentient beings, then to practitioners, and finally to himself.

He himself said that cultivators are like mountains and all living beings are like water. So if he is water or a mountain, why does he cultivate Taoism?
This is equivalent to a Taoist question, asking what Cihang's inner thoughts are as he practices Taoism.

Cihang closed his eyes, and in front of his eyes was the scene of the suffering of all sentient beings during countless tribulations in the previous life. He saw many relics shining brightly and the golden elixir shining in the world. He slowly spoke:
"I practice Tao to help mountains and comb water to the best of my ability. All living beings are like water, but there is turbid mud; practitioners are like mountains, but there are always dangerous cliffs and peaks. I practice Tao to clear away the filth for all living beings, and for practitioners If you set foot on the road of Kangzhuang, you will not hesitate to die. If you hear the road in the morning and die in the evening, you can die. This is my great road."

Very few practitioners would say such things.

Why practice Taoism?

What are sentient beings?

What is a cultivator?
Usually, some of the elders among the Dragon and Phoenix ethnic groups cannot tell these three answers.

Three questions and three answers, this is a test for Cihang and also a fate for Cihang.

Good causes lead to good results. He said that the actions of mediocre sentient beings are good causes, and meeting kind seniors by chance can be said to be good results.

Let me ask, if Cihang had no preaching behavior, how could he have such an encounter and attract the attention and consideration of this senior?
In addition, Cihang preached to all sentient beings.

It is not ridiculous for Earth Immortals to preach to ordinary sentient beings.

No matter what level of cultivators see this, they will only have good intentions. The Earth Immortal is the beginning of the Tao, and he has behaved like this from the beginning of his cultivation. It is definitely an act of great virtue, and he will only admire him.

Cihang quietly looked at the white crane in front of him. The white crane seemed to know that he was exposed, and suddenly a breeze blew up.

The bamboo leaves rustled in the purple bamboo forest, and a figure suddenly appeared.

Cihang's eyebrows were surprised. He would never forget this senior who tested him even if he was reborn now, but he didn't expect to meet him so early in this life.
