Chapter 5 The real murderer
The conference was held as scheduled, and the stage was crowded with people. The leader and several sect leaders were sitting in the upper seats, and several people were located in the central Taichung, including Qiao Li.

The scene was noisy, and all the disciples were discussing this matter in whispers.

Qiao Li stood upright in the center of the competition platform with a calm expression. Next to her, Chu Hanmo, dressed in pink, also had a look of futility on her face.

"Ahem." Chu Linfeng, the leader at the top, coughed lightly and stroked his long beard.

The scene suddenly became quiet, and everyone listened attentively to the leader's next speech.

"Regarding the fact that Qiao Li, Yaoguang Zun Shang Qing Yu's disciple, was rumored and isolated, Qiao Li, let me ask you, is this happening?"

"Back to the head, this is indeed the case."

As soon as this statement came out, there was an uproar.

Some bold ones even directly yin and yang: "Don't let anyone talk about the bad things she did, and she also said that we isolated her, it's really..."

"Yes, yes."

"Quiet!" Chu Linfeng glanced at him, "Who is still making noise?"

The leader's words were very intimidating, and the scene returned to silence.

Chu Linfeng looked at Qiao Li and then at Chu Hanmo next to her. Thinking of what Qing Yu said directly in front of the sect leaders that day, she unconsciously felt unhappy with Qiao Li.

"Qiao Li, is it related to the fact that Mu Jin and others injured you in the back mountain two days ago?"

"Back to the head, this is indeed the case."

"No, Master! Please listen to our explanation." Behind Qiao Li, a group of people knelt down and said very simply, "There is a misunderstanding in this matter, there is a misunderstanding!"

"Oh? Misunderstanding?" Chu Linfeng took a sip of tea and said unintentionally, "What misunderstanding?"

"Our original intention was to compete with Uncle Qiao, but accidentally...we struck too hard." Mu Jin paused and kowtowed violently, "Please forgive me, Master, we won't dare to do it again next time!"

The disciples of the Supreme Sect beside him kowtowed.

"Oh, what kind of sparring would allow you to beat my little junior sister into coma? When I found her, she was covered in blood. Do you call this sparring?" Xiao Yunli, who was standing behind Qing Yu, said coldly.

"This...this! It's all a misunderstanding!" Cold sweat broke out on their foreheads, and they wanted to defend themselves.

Chu Linfeng ignored these wails and said calmly: "Qiao Li, is it as they said?"

Qiao Li turned around and met Mu Jin's small and narrow eyes.

She saw the fear and pleading in his eyes, and she even saw a threat in his eyes.

Qiao Li chuckled. In the past, she might have chosen to settle down and be merciful, but now -

"Back to the headmaster, Mu Jin and others took the lead and forced me to the back of the mountain. They attacked me and made me unconscious. The disciple didn't think it was just a sparring match. I thought it was a murder." She said deliberately.

After hearing this, Mu Jin on the ground was stunned for a moment, and the people on the stage were also shocked.

Qiao Li was obviously a soft persimmon who couldn't be beaten in their minds. She usually wouldn't resist no matter how much she was bullied. Why now...

"In this case, Mu Jin and others will be punished to Siguo Cliff, copy the door rules fifty times, and be punished with moon stones for half a year, and they will not be able to come out until four months later."

"No, Master! Please give us a chance, Master! We were really wrong!" Several people still wanted to struggle.

During this gap, Mu Jin looked up with resentment on his face and looked at Qiao Li's back with eyes as sinister as sudden poison.

Qiao Li turned around as if feeling something, and was immediately faced with his ugly face. She showed him a kind smile and continued: "Back to the leader, I think they still owe me an apology."

Their attitude just now was very strange. They seemed to sincerely admit their mistakes. The person they admitted was indeed the leader. Maybe they didn't feel that it was wrong for them to bully her. They were just afraid of her resistance and being punished.

"In that case, please apologize." Chu Linfeng said this to Mu Jin and others.

Qiao Li turned around, and the whole scene looked like Mu Jin and others were kneeling on her. She looked at the people in front of her with interest.

Mu Jin lowered his head, obviously unwilling.

The air fell into silence, and everyone on the stage was looking at this, unwilling to let go of any move on the stage.

After a long while, Mu Jin clenched her hands and raised her head, gritted her teeth and said, "I'm sorry, Uncle Qiao."

Mu Jin first started, and the disciple next to him had no choice but to apologize: "I'm sorry, Master Qiao."

Qiao Li did not respond to this apology, but said in a deep voice: "It's so easy for you to apologize..."

As she spoke, she walked up to Mu Jin, her face gradually covered with a layer of ice: "Before you figure out the truth of the matter, why can you spread rumors unscrupulously and think you can be superior to others? What do you call this? ?What is this? You can bully others just because you think they are easy to bully?" Mu Jin quietly raised his head, met her knife-like eyes, and quickly lowered his head.

Now she... looks very difficult to deal with.

"I tell you clearly, based on seniority, I am your uncle. Based on talent, how many of you can compare to me? If there is a next time, I will not be polite to anyone."

Qiao Li said this not only to Mu Jin and others, but also to everyone present.

The whispers in the venue disappeared, and everyone was looking at the little girl with arrogant eyebrows under the stage.

Qiao Li continued: "Perhaps for some people, my cultivation is indeed inferior to yours, but...can you guarantee that I will always be inferior to you?"

Those with high cultivation levels originally thought it was ridiculous, but Qiao Li's talent was obvious to everyone. He broke through to the middle stage of Qi refining not long after he started. Some people even took several years to reach this level, so they didn't say anything.

Qing Yu, who was sitting in the seat, had imperceptible emotions in his eyes, and there was an inexplicable feeling in his heart.

He doesn't like her like this...

"Ahem," Chu Linfeng coughed slightly to ease the anxious situation, "Come here, take them to Siguoya."

"Yes."

Several disciples appeared and took Mu Jin and others away, leaving Qiao Li and Chu Hanmo alone.

"Qiao Li, do you think it is my daughter, Chu Hanmo, who is spreading rumors about you and taking the lead in isolating you?" Chu Linfeng continued to ask.

This sentence contained a threat, clearly indicating Chu Hanmo's identity, and everyone present could hear it.

"What does this mean, Master?" Qing Yu next to him asked expressionlessly.

Before Chu Linfeng could speak, Qiao Li answered before he could say anything: "Back to the head, this matter has nothing to do with Junior Sister Chu."

"Oh?" Chu Linfeng raised his eyebrows, "That's not what Lord Yaoguang said before -" He meant something.

Qing Yu's face darkened, and there was a hint of warning in his eyes when he looked at Qiao Li.

Qiao Li, however, ignored all that and continued talking on his own: "The person who really spread rumors about me and took the lead in isolating me is Shan Beisheng, the disciple of the supreme sect leader."

"Shan Beisheng?" Chu Linfeng recalled it and had a vague impression in his mind.

"Yes."

"You're talking nonsense!" A rough yet shrill voice suddenly emerged.

Everyone's attention was drawn to this voice.

I saw a man of medium height standing behind Ouyang Jie, the elder of the Supreme Sect. He retorted with a red face. The first impression he gave was that he was shy and honest.

Ouyang Jie's face was obviously unhappy: "Master Nephew Qiao, please don't talk nonsense. My apprentice is introverted and has good conduct. How could he do such a thing?"

"Yup!"

"Yup!"

"Yup!"

"Uncle Shan is not such a person at all!"

The other disciples of the Supreme Sect all agreed, obviously not believing Qiao Li's words.

Qiao Li and Chu Hanmo looked at each other and smiled.

She knew it would be like this, and others wouldn't believe it.

Qiao Li did not answer Ouyang Jie's question directly, but asked Shan Beisheng: "Excuse me, Junior Brother Shan, did you see me yesterday?"

Hearing this, Shan Beisheng's eyes dodge for a moment, and then he almost blurted out: "No, never!"

"Really?" Qiao Li chuckled, "Didn't Junior Brother Shan see Junior Sister Chu and I arguing in the Supreme Sect?"

"No!" Shan Beisheng replied firmly this time.

"Excuse me, nephew Qiao, what do you mean?" Ouyang Jie interrupted Qiao Li's question, "What does it matter whether I have met you or not?"
