Chapter 556: The Temple of Offering to the God of Wealth
Chapter 556: The Temple of Offering to the God of Wealth (Part )
This resentment was indeed directed towards Lu Feng.
This is the public consciousness.
With a casual wipe, the resentment disappeared, leaving only the information inside.
These grievances came from the monks who remained in the temple at the end. Before they died, all their grievances entangled together and turned into "demonic energy".
It's quite unwilling, and it can also be called obsession.
Stop this "obsession", pure and chaotic.
The thought of "reluctance" is purity.
The so-called "chaos" is the "reluctance" among people, but the reasons are different for different individuals.
Therefore, compared with the various obsessions of "Lotus Flower Qin Dharma Temple Sutra and Theory Institute", all of them merged into one and became a rope - inheriting the Dharma lineage and rebuilding the temple. Compared with it, these "obsessions" are different, so in this thought, all the systems are mixed and not refined, and Lu Feng appeared here like an outsider.
The entire "Da Shi'en Temple" was in chaos at the moment, with the gate wide open. What concerned Lu Feng was that there were still some small Buddha statues here, but as for the big Buddha statues, there was not a single one.
It was just like what the Buddhist disciple in the "Bayin Lotus Picture" said - the visitors really did dig three feet above and three feet below, and there was no way to find out where a large number of valuable items in the temple had gone, and there was no way to see what they looked like.
The chaotic wheel tracks on the ground made it hard to tell whether they were the hasty leaving of the monks, or the greed of others who had robbed the temple. Lu Feng stood in the open door, looking at the pitch-black outside.
Throughout the temple, the lights were concentrated in a few places. The flames of the grease torches dripped onto the ground, mixed with the monks' footprints and heavy breathing sounds, together forming the last night of this temple. Lu Feng's "Dharma Eye" was ineffective here. In this dark doorway, he could not see whether the monks outside the doorway had escaped.
Walking in the temple in this "memory", Lu Feng soon saw the "remaining ones" who were in a hurry. Five or six monks were coming towards him, carrying "rattan boxes" in their hands.
It can be seen from this that they all look desperate.
He also put all the things into the "rattan box", went to the "dungeon", and placed the things inside in the hope of preserving them.
"Carry these corpses over, don't leave any of them to these enemies of Buddhism.
If we can still start a big fire, we can burn them all!"
"There's no firewood."
A monk hurriedly passed by and said beside him, Lu Feng knew that they were not lying. The torches in their hands could not tell where the oil came from, but the handle was a human leg bone, and the "monk's robe" was burned on it. It was normal to have no firewood in such a situation.
The one who is speaking here is the highest elder who stayed behind, the "leader of scriptures" in the temple.
There were only a few of them who had "great spell power". The other monks couldn't even see through the normal "darkness", so how could they have any spell power? After that, someone - the dead "deacon monk"-like figure, lifted up the body and dragged it with great effort! He couldn't even carry it, and just dragged a mark on the ground and walked away.
When they arrived at the dungeon, they felt too powerless to do anything, so they just threw the person in like they had thrown the criminals in before.
The "leader" preserved his last bit of strength, but had no idea what he was going to do.
Lu Feng walked through here and went to the back of the temple. While walking, he looked up.
It was in this "memory" that these monks all realized that the darkness above the temple was unusual, but it was impossible to see clearly from this "memory" what the thing in the sky was. This should be "everyone's" memory, not to mention that although everyone's mood was different at the moment, they could naturally see that it was not calm.
What we see also has deviations, so this chaotic "monster" in the sky, which is composed of the deviations of many people, is something that even Lu Feng is not sure what is above. He can only say that there is something in the sky, making this place even darker and more chaotic.
Walked to the backyard of the temple.
When Lu Feng entered this place, he felt that there must be something waiting for him in this backyard. He walked through the dark corridor, walked through the empty aisle, and came to the back of the temple. Behind this temple, it was even more shabby. There was a big pit in the enclosed area.
There were two or three monks digging in the pit. These monks were not with the monks who were carrying things, and no one came to call them.
At this moment, even in the midst of all living beings, it is a rare moment that the monk has not turned into a "evil spirit" and his Buddha's heart has been broken.
Who else would mind other people's business?
Lu Feng did the same. He set his gaze on another place. It was the people here who were calling him over.
At the foot of the dark wall, sat a thin middle-aged monk. Unlike the busy and numb people around him, this monk was as calm as a pool of stagnant water.
Seeing Lu Feng seeing him, he also looked at Lu Feng, then stood up and said, "Hello, Senior Brother."
With just one glance, Lu Feng had seen through his essence. The fact that Lu Feng came to this "memory" and did not discover him at the first moment showed that this monk also had something magical in him.
Lu Feng glanced at him and said, "You are not the memory of this place, nor are you created by resentment - you are a true spirit.
What is there in you that has kept you here for so many years and still looks the same as before?
“It is this thing.”
The monk did not hide anything from Lu Feng.
He took out from his body a "Dharma Guardian Statue" which was constantly turning into sand. This "Dharma Guardian Statue" was so lifelike that even now, one could see this "Dharma Guardian Statue" in the "falling sand", like a god or a Buddha.
The monk said, "Fortunately, with the blessing of the Heavenly King Vaisravana, I can protect a few lives. I am waiting here."
"Vaiśravaṇa, the Heavenly King".
Lu Feng looked at the "Vaiśravaṇa" who had been "weathered" and only half of his body was left, and said, "Since you are relying on the true spirit to be here, what do you want? You protected the many thoughts of the monks here, so that they would not be transformed by resentment, which would make it impossible for later people to distinguish. You are taking so much trouble, what do you want to stay for?"
The monk said, "I was also unknowable at first, but the Bodhisattva asked me to stay, so I stayed.
Originally, I had no idea why the Bodhisattva had told me to do this. I could only reincarnate endlessly in this cycle of reincarnation. A thousand nights were like one night, and a hundred lives were like one. But now I see my brother coming. Everything is settled. "
He clasped his hands together and bowed to Lu Feng, saying frankly, "I am waiting for you to come over, just to see me." Hearing this, Lu Feng looked at him with a complicated look and said, "Master's Dharma name——"
"round light".
"Yuanguang" the monk explained in a simple manner.
He is a person with a strange origin.
He was originally a monk in a special temple in the Central Plains of China, but later he stayed on the grassland with the tribute team that returned one year.
After arriving at the "grassland", he became a disciple and learned the secret mantras and methods, but he could not return to the "Han land". In the Central Plains, there were few temples that practiced secret mantras. Even if there were a few temples that practiced secret methods, they were full and could not accept him, so "Yuanguang" simply stayed here. Fortunately, the abbot of the temple favored him, and he had a good life in the past few years.
Until now, the "Abbot" passed away, leaving the monk "Yuanguang" here. He has been "reincarnating" many times, repeating over and over again, just for the expectation of the Bodhisattva. Now that the wish has been fulfilled, he is "Yuanguang" and also shows a lot of joy.
He said: "Brother, please stand with me - it won't take long, just half an incense stick of time, and everything will begin.
In just half a cup of hot tea, the entire temple will be reduced to ashes, and there will be no more visible scene.
At that time, the entire universe will turn into darkness, with no up, down, left, right, front, back, or past. "
The monk "Yuanguang" knows all of these very well.

He said: "It is on this day, some time later, that the entire temple will be rebuilt and return to this time again.
At that time you can see that everything seems to be born from the bright spot, from nothing to something, from something to nothing.
This cycle repeats itself endlessly.
If I stay here, the Buddha statue will protect me, but time has taken its toll. Over the years, half of the Bodhisattvas I have seen have disappeared. If my senior brother doesn’t come, I’m afraid I won’t be able to endure it here.”
Lu Feng and he sat down on the ground in an untidy manner at the foot of the wall.
Lu Feng asked, "Then tell me everything within this half-incense stick of time. What kind of disaster has happened to the temple to turn such a large temple into this state? Is it the Lifanyuan Yamen? Is it the Zhaju Ben Temple?"
“You can’t say anything.”
As he spoke, "Yuan Guang" lifted up the Vaisravana statue in his hand and asked Lu Feng to look at it. As Lu Feng asked this question, he saw the sand that was floating down suddenly flying non-stop, turning into a "rainbow light" and falling next to the big pit!
The monks who were still working in the "big pits" could not see any of this.
Originally, there was still half of it, but now with the appearance of Lu Feng, the statue of the Heavenly King "melted" rapidly, as if time was running out. In a few days, this Buddha statue might become a handful of sand. Seeing that the Bodhisattva who protected him suddenly looked like this, the monk "Yuanguang" was suddenly happy and said, "So that's how it is."
The monk Yuanguang suddenly realized, slapped his forehead with his palm, stood up and said: "It turns out that the Bodhisattva kept me here so that I can explain the situation here to you.
It's about the temple down there, so I said, "Brother, come over here. I'll tell you about the situation here and let you see the temple down there. This temple has indescribable affinity and indescribable beauty. Below the 'Da Shi En Temple' is the auspicious Bodhisattva Dharma Transmission Temple."
This temple is located on the grassland and is also extremely famous.
It was the "Supreme Hutuktu" who passed through the grassland on his way to Beijing and stopped in the temple at night.
During the practice, the Supreme Hutuktu suddenly saw a "brilliant silver tree, shining brightly!"
So, the "Supreme Hutuktu" followed the light and saw a "red-maned white jade lion" landing beside a lake.
So, the 'Supreme Hutuktu' built a temple there and left his monk's robes and some monk treasures there.
This is the famous and auspicious Bodhisattva Dharma Temple. "
As he was talking, he had already arrived here. He was very familiar with this big pit, and took Lu Feng down a square tunnel. Lu Feng saw that there were a total of seven tunnels in this big pit, all of which were dug into a square shape and were pounded solid with shovels.
Each corridor is large enough for an adult to bend down and enter. When Lu Feng and the monk Yuanguang entered this room, they could see the "sand" like a "ribbon", continuing to lead the way in front and emitting light.
The monk Yuanguang continued, "Later, many great monks came to this temple to teach the Dharma and pass down the Dharma. In particular, the Supreme Hutuktu told the then Emperor of the Central Plains what he saw and heard on the road. The Emperor of the Central Plains was delighted and presented a plaque.
It is believed that the guiding messenger is the mount of the God of Wealth, so two deities are enshrined in the temple.
One is naturally the God of Wealth, and the other is the God of Vaisravana.
This place becomes extremely special.”
As they were talking, the two of them walked through the corridor, and then looked up and saw a hall that was "lost" underground but was very tall.
This hall has no ancient charm, but it is indeed rich and extraordinary. The monk Yuanguang took him to the past and said, "Later, the caravans that came and went all knew that the auspicious Bodhisattva Chuanfa Temple was very special and effective, and the incense was endless.
There are even caravans who choose the Christmas of the 'God of Wealth' every year and give all their earned money to the 'God of Wealth' in order to pray for the Bodhisattva's blessing and to gain more wealth in the coming year.
As for the herdsmen here, and even the later "yamen" and the jasak banner owners, they were also like this and were proud of it.
Therefore, within less than ten years, the auspicious Bodhisattva Dharma Temple was filled with mountains of gold and seas of silver, which were the treasures of the God of Wealth, and were all made of gold!
Even after some time, it would not be surprising if the wealth of the auspicious Bodhisattva Dharma Temple surpassed that of many large temples.
More importantly, the monks here also have some magical qualities. They are proficient in secret mantras and can make money grow out of money. For a while, even the title of the protector of the God of Wealth of 'Zhaju Ben Temple' was snatched away from this place. For a time, the monks here were almost on par with 'Zhaju Ben Temple'.
It’s a pity that such good times don’t come often.”
He brought Lu Feng to a sealed gate and said to Lu Feng: "The abbot here passed away. Since then, the temple has fallen into decline. After some time, even the monks who came later did not know where the temple was located, let alone how it was destroyed."
"It disappeared into history until we found it!"
