The Era of the Holy Body that Covers the Sky

Chapter 586 Laozi, Confucius and Sakyamuni

Chapter 586 Laozi, Confucius and Sakyamuni
After learning that the old man in front of him was the Laozi he was looking for, Confucius restrained his joy and said seriously: "During the period of King Wu, the world was initially settled. Duke Zhou promoted Zhou rituals, regulated the princes of all parties, and established rules for the monks. Established new rules to protect ordinary mortals and put an end to the chaos of the past.”

"But time flies and the sea has changed. Now the rituals and music have collapsed. No one abides by the Zhou rites. The princes and monks have no scruples. The world is in turmoil and the subjects of Guizhou are suffering."

"Therefore, Confucius wanted to ask for advice, where is the right path in the world, and where is the life path for the people in the world."

In fact, Confucius was also a great monk. He was very powerful. Few people in the world dared to say that he could defeat him. Moreover, he had three thousand disciples under his command. He was also a decisive force today. Otherwise, he would be obsessed with implementing Zhou Lilai's restrictions. Can their Confucius still receive courtesy and kindness from all parties as he does now? I'm afraid he would have been beaten to death long ago.

But even so, Confucius still adhered to "rituals" throughout his life and wanted to promote etiquette to the whole world.

In fact, what this etiquette represents is an established "order", a set of behavioral rules for monks in the world, an ideal that restricts monks and protects the weak.

Seniority and inferiority, ethical ethics, and different courtesy when interacting with people of different levels are all superficial. The fundamental purpose is to maintain the existing order. Who should do what? Don’t do anything arbitrarily, and let the world move in an orderly manner. No clutter.

This is the etiquette of Confucius.

If it were in ordinary history, Confucius' etiquette would be normal. But in this world, it is a world where "monks" exist. The strong are respected, and what the strong recognize and promote is order.

The Zhou dynasty was powerful, so some people respected Zhou Rites. Confucius's rituals, especially those derived from Zhou Rites, in a sense, represented the Tao of Confucius and the order recognized by Confucius.

Facing Confucius' question, Laozi pointed to the earth and said: "The right path of the world is here."

Confucius was stunned: "Is it right here?"

Lao Tzu nodded and said: "The right path in the world lies in creation. As heaven and earth exist, creation exists. The new path established by heaven, whether it is rules, principles, or etiquette, is ultimately one-sided."

"Only when the human heart is free from pretense can we clearly distinguish what is true and what is false. If you forcibly suppress a person's nature, you will often get contradictory consequences."

"Especially those monks who hold sharp blades and have power beyond mortals."

"Just like you, Confucius, every monk has his own way. This is the foundation of practice and cannot be controlled by others. Otherwise, it will be a fight between the ways and will never end. Even if someone suppresses it forcefully, it can only last for a while. Sooner or later it will collapse, just like it is now.”

"Therefore, if you don't fight with me, no one in the world can fight with you."

Confucius faced Laozi and said: "Sir's Tao is transcendent, and Confucius admires it. However, I still disagree with what you said. Although the Zhou Dynasty may no longer be powerful, or even cease to exist, there are still princes in the world. I intend to travel to various countries and one day be able to test whether etiquette can create a peaceful and prosperous age."

After Confucius finished speaking, he continued to salute Laozi, then returned to the hundred people behind him and walked away to the east.

Came, met, saw, left.

The encounter between Confucius and Laozi seemed very ordinary, just like meeting a person asking for directions.

I don't think Confucius can succeed. In fact, Confucius himself knows that it is almost impossible for him to succeed, because although there are many princes in the world and they are powerful, they do not completely belong to the "Zhou clan"!

When King Wu of Zhou captured Chaoge, the Shang Dynasty came to an end. However, the princes of the Shang Dynasty were not all captured by the Zhou Dynasty. Instead, measures of enfeoffment and gentleness were adopted.

In other words, many of the princes of today's countries still inherited the Shang Dynasty before the Zhou Dynasty!
Among them, there are even many princes and nobles of the Shang Dynasty, including Confucius himself, who are also descendants of the Shang Dynasty.

These princes and kings set off many rebellions in the Zhou Dynasty. The biggest rebellion was the Wu Geng Rebellion.

But in fact, it is not only that, even the First Emperor who will unify the six countries in the future has his roots in Shang! Although the Shang Dynasty fell, its foundation remains.

The major vassal states belonging to the Zhou Dynasty would also praise Confucius on the surface because of the existence of the Shang dynasty, as well as considerations such as interests, security, competition, etc., and would never say anything bad about him. What's more, Confucius's own personality is indeed respectable.

But what if it is an appointment? That is absolutely impossible!
Perhaps one day, the princes will accept this "gift". However, the "ritual" at that time must no longer be the "ritual" of Confucius.

To the east of Juejian, to the west of the plateau, to the north of the Qinling Mountains, and to the south of the Yellow River.

Here, there is a majestic Xiongguan Fortress, entrenched in the pass, called Hangu Pass!

This Hangu Pass is now the largest pass in the world, the throat of the world, and the gateway to the ancient times. From here, you can embark on the road to the stars.

"Hahaha! Great!!"

Suddenly, on top of the city tower, an extremely excited shout rang out. This person was none other than the Order of Hangu Pass - Yin Xi!
Yin Xi has been fond of the Book of Changes since he was a child. He is very good at medicine, divination, astrology, and alchemy. He has a reputation as a wise man. Because he is the general of Guan Ling, he is also called "Guan Yinzi"!
Of course, his cultivation level is not bad, otherwise he would not be the candidate to guard such an important pass.

Yin Xi, who was usually neatly dressed and pure and natural, seemed to be crazy at this moment. He was sitting on the tower and was ecstatic. The creatures in Hangu Pass could not help but be infected by this joy.

Someone asked: "Lord Guan Ling, why are you so happy!?"

Yin Xi shook his head and said with undiminished joy: "Hahaha, what a great joy, what a great joy!"

He raised his head and looked at the eastern sky. In his eyes, a piece of purple energy as bright as the ocean appeared vaguely from the east!
The purple energy filled the sky, stretching for tens of thousands of miles, and was as majestic as a rushing stream, actually occupying the entire sky.

Countless streams of light shied away from each other under this purple aura, as if they were ministers who had to be worshiped.

Purple air comes thirty thousand miles from the east, and the saint travels westward and passes here!
"Purple Qi comes thirty thousand miles from the east, and a saint is coming!"

After Yin Xi finished speaking, he actually ran down from the city tower himself. Looking at the east road, emotions such as yearning, expectation, and joy emerged in his heart.

"saint?"

Does a little saint need Yin Xi, the Hangu Pass Order, to pay such attention to him?
No need, no need at all!
Everyone was confused, but Yin Xi did not explain. There was a world of difference between the saint and the realm of the saint he mentioned.

The sun sets in the west.

At this moment, with a roar of "moo", a huge green cow came from the east in the afterglow!

Sitting on the broad back of the green cow was an old man, who was almost seventy years old and had an immortal spirit.

The purple aura is endless, but the old man is not covered by any auspicious clouds and glow. He is extremely simple, just like an ordinary mortal on the road, as if the river flows eastward and comes naturally.

As if integrated into the landscape.

Yin Xi was shocked! He only felt that the truth of heaven and earth seemed to be right in front of him, but it was hazy and elusive.

He suddenly fell to the ground: "I would like to follow the saint, and I would like to be sent to you. I just want to be able to listen to the saint's teachings and understand the great way. I beg the saint to take him in!" Yin Xi's move made everyone inside and outside Hangu Pass excited. Everyone was shocked.

On the back of the green ox, I's eyes moved slightly, and I looked at Yin Xi carefully. After a while, I shook my head and said: "The Tao cannot be expressed in words. Guan Ling is destined to the Tao, and one day he will be able to achieve it, but he has no chance to share it with me. "What's more, I will leave Honghuang soon, and it is unclear whether it will be good or bad, so how can I implicate Guan Ling?"

"How can the pass order abandon Hangu Pass and leave?"

Yin Xi quickly said: "If you can hear the Tao, you will have no regrets even if you die!"

"As for Hangu Pass, we can also ask others to take our place!"

But no matter what he said, I just shook my head.

After a long time, it seemed that I couldn't bear Yin Xi's sincere worship, so I finally said: "Forget it, you can become my registered disciple."

"Thank you, saint!" Yin Xi was overjoyed and bowed his head.

"Well, okay, get up." I gently waved my hand, and Yin Xi was helped up.

"brush!"

A ray of fairy light emerged from Laozi's fingertips and hit Yin Xi's eyebrows. Yin Xi suddenly stood still, immersed in the Taoist rhyme.

"Tao can be said, but it is not Tao; it can be named, but it is not named. Wu is named the beginning of heaven and earth; existence is named the mother of all things. Therefore, there is always no, in order to observe its wonder; there is always, in order to observe its beauty. These two , have the same origin but different names, and are called xuan.

The sky sound of the avenue resounded through Hangu Pass, and a message also echoed in Yin Xi's sea of consciousness.

"My master is gone, you should continue to guard Hangu Pass!"

·······
South of the Kunlun Mountains, there is a vast plateau. At the southern end of the plateau is a majestic mountain called Lingshan!
This is a sacred land with vast dragon veins, endless blessings, lush vegetation, widespread medicinal herbs, ancient temples, the sound of monks chanting sutras, and bursts of Zen and Buddhist rhymes.

This is an ancient dojo that existed many years ago. It has a supreme status in Buddhism in the ancient star, just like Mount Sumeru in the ancient star of the Big Dipper.

Holy temples and ancient buildings are majestic and majestic, carrying the glory and prosperity of Buddhism. A vast wave of waves is nurtured in the mountains and buildings. This is the pure power of faith.

A middle-aged monk in white clothes put down the copper furnace in his hand. From time to time, there was a fragrance that filled the furnace, making people feel ecstatic. It was obviously a furnace of great medicine.

The middle-aged monk has been refining a pot of great medicine for some time. Of course, he did not use all his strength. Instead, he used the dragon veins of Lingshan as fire to slowly ripen a pot of great medicine and left it to future generations.

However, this potion was too rare, and it took longer than expected. Even when he wanted to leave, the potion had not become a pill and was still being warmed.

Shaking his head, the middle-aged monk stood up, called his disciples, and explained:

"My teacher is about to travel far away. This pot of medicine is easy to take care of, and it will be successful one day."

"Disciple, please obey Master's orders and take good care of me."

The middle-aged monk looked solemn, smiled slightly, held a Buddhist ritual with his hands together, took one step forward, and left Lingshan and the ancient star under the respectful greetings of all the monks in Lingshan.

But the middle-aged monk did not go too far. Instead, he stopped first on the ancient star Yinghuo, not far from the ancient star. There is a Great Leiyin Temple here, which is also a Buddhist temple he built. There are Eighteen levels of hell suppress the peerless demons.

Before heading off, he needed to do one last check.

Seeing that the seal he left had not been loosened, and the monks in the Great Leiyin Temple were also diligently maintaining it, the middle-aged monk set out on the road again, away from the ancient stars and embarking on the boundless starry sky.

·······
The universe is very vast and endless. Even if human beings can cross it, they can only move within a limited area throughout their lives.

Facing this unknown dark sky, I am too small and insignificant. It is almost difficult to encounter anything in the star field. Silence is the eternal theme.

A huge group of ships, each one is extremely majestic, the smallest is over a thousand feet long, and the largest is tens of thousands of feet long, spanning the sky, densely packed, overwhelming!
Floating in the universe, no one knows how many years have passed. They have already been engraved with the imprint of the long river of time, but they are always immortal and have existed since ancient times.

It was lifeless. At a glance, it was a large area of darkness, like an ancient tomb. It was boundless, majestic and spectacular, with boundless oppression.

This is a kind of desolation, and it is also a kind of desolation. All the glory and all the past events have been buried in the dust of history, drifting alone in the universe.

Four ancient ships, each occupying one side, turned out to be locked in a huge coffin, floating in the universe.

The ancient coffin was made of unknown materials. It looks like gold but not gold, looks like stone but not stone, looks like wood but not wood. The material is unknown. It is simple and vicissitudes of life. It has spent an unimaginable long time in the long river of time.

Four thick chains were tied to it, imprisoning it in the center of the four ships, looking extremely evil!

Although the coffin was huge, it seemed very small compared to the four large ships. However, when everyone looked forward, they suddenly ignored the four large ships and only saw it.

In the cold universe, it is the only one with a terrifying aura that proves it is the eternal protagonist between heaven and earth!

"Boom!"

At some point, this ancient coffin floated near the ancient star. In the starry sky outside the ancient star, it suddenly stopped above Mount Tai, but no one noticed it.

"brush!"

A figure stepped up from the top of Mount Tai and reached the side of the ancient coffin in one step.

"Boom!"

In the center of the ghost ship, the ancient coffin emits wisps of clouds, which are fairy lights intertwined into a pattern.

The dark void gradually transformed into light, and everything in front of the coffin could be seen. The other two mysterious fluctuations were suppressed, and the destructive power was retreating.

A kind of primitive extreme fluctuations are competing for supremacy, entangled with each other, and annihilating each other. It is complicated and inexplicable and looks extremely evil.
