"What is this thing!" Sun Wukong said to himself.

This book is emitting light, and it is obvious that it is not an ordinary thing. It must be a treasure.

What he cares more about now is this paradise that he discovered by himself.

After hiding the book called "Journey to the West", Sun Wukong was overjoyed and jumped out of the Water Curtain Cave.

Seeing Sun Wukong appear, the monkeys surrounded him.

"What's it like inside? How deep is the water?" the monkeys asked.

Being able to return from the waterfall made them very curious about what was inside.

"There is no water, no water! There is a great fortune inside, there is an iron bridge, the other side of the bridge is a perfect match made in heaven!" Sun Wukong explained.

Apart from that book, he concealed nothing about his discovery of the Water Curtain Cave.

After hearing what Sun Wukong said, the monkeys became even more curious and kept asking how this was made for each other.
"There are flowers and trees beside the bridge, and there is a stone house. The house is fully equipped with stone pots and stoves, stone bowls and basins, stone beds and stone benches.

On a stone tablet in the middle is engraved "The blessed land of Huaguo Mountain, the paradise of Water Curtain Cave".

In my opinion, the place is a good place to live, big enough to accommodate thousands of people, young and old!" Sun Wukong explained.

When the monkeys heard Sun Wukong's explanation, they were all delighted and asked Sun Wukong to lead the way.

Then, under the leadership of Sun Wukong, all the monkeys entered the Water Curtain Cave.

“You just said that anyone who can come in and out without getting hurt will be worshipped as the king.

I have been going in and out, out and in, and have found this cave. Why don't you worship me as your king?" Sun Wukong said.

The reason why he entered the waterfall was because of this agreement.

Now, not only is he safe and sound, he has also found a place to live in the Water Curtain Cave, so he is naturally worthy of being called the Monkey King.

When the monkeys heard what Sun Wukong said, they had no objection. They all bowed and paid homage to him, calling him the Thousand-Year-Old King.

From then on, Sun Wukong officially became the Monkey King.

That night, when the monkeys had settled down, Sun Wukong took out the glowing book by himself and began to read it.

As soon as he opened the book, a look of doubt appeared in his bright eyes.

Because he discovered that the book called "Journey to the West" clearly recorded his experiences.

He jumped out of a rock in the Flower-Fruit Mountain, merged into the monkey group, and then lived happily and freely in the mountains and forests.

Afterwards, he accidentally discovered the Water Curtain Cave and became the king of the monkey clan, transforming from a stone monkey into the Monkey King.

"These are all things I experienced before, they are nothing. Could it be that they can help me to advance my future?" Sun Wukong thought to himself.

Seeing this, he scratched his face and became even more interested in the book.

Continuing to read, he saw that the book recorded that after he had been the king of the Flower-Fruit Mountain for three to five hundred years, he witnessed the deaths of many monkeys and their descendants, which made him extremely sad and worried.

Seeing his worry, a knowledgeable monkey took the initiative to mention the method of immortality.

This made him extremely excited and he came up with the idea of finding a way to achieve immortality.

Seeing this, Sun Wukong became more interested and began to wonder what this book was.

Then, he continued reading, and the person in the book went in search of the remedy for immortality. He drifted in the East China Sea for seven years and came to Jambu Continent on the other side of the sea. He searched for the way to immortality in the human world, but to no avail.

Eight years later, he left Nanzhanbuzhou and crossed the sea again, drifting in the West Sea. By chance, he came to Xiniuhezhou.

Soon after landing, he followed a woodcutter's lead to the Sanxing Cave on the Fangcun Mountain, where he became a disciple of Patriarch Bodhi and was named Sun Wukong.

Seeing this scene, a smile appeared on his face. After searching for many years, he finally became an immortal. Naturally, he was very happy.

Moreover, he also received a name given by the immortal master, and he liked the name Sun Wukong very much.

In his opinion, since he had successfully entered the immortal sect, he would immediately have the opportunity to learn the art of immortality.

But when he continued reading, he found that in the book he had to sweep the floors and fetch water in Fangcun Mountain for seven years, and only after Patriarch Bodhi started preaching did he have the opportunity to seek the method of immortality.

Seeing this result, although he felt a little unhappy, he still patiently continued watching.

Patriarch Bodhi taught four types of exercises: static, dynamic and static. However, the person in the book did not learn any of them.

Patriarch Bodhi hit him on the head three times with a ruler and left with his hands behind his back. In the book, he realized the secret at three o'clock in the morning and went to find the patriarch through the back door, who finally taught him the art of immortality.

"Good! Good! Good!" Sun Wukong was delighted.

He was so happy that he somersaulted on the spot. After many years, he finally learned the art of immortality. It can be said that all the hard work has paid off.

Afterwards, Patriarch Bodhi taught him the Great Heavenly Immortal Technique, asked him to choose one from the Thirty-Six Heavenly Gang Techniques and the Seventy-Two Earthly Fiend Techniques, and also taught him the Somersault Cloud.

Looking at himself in the book, Sun Wukong became happier and happier as he learned more and more skills.

"I will be immortal in three years!" Sun Wukong's smile became more obvious.

However, his smile soon froze, because the book wrote that he showed off his skills in front of his fellow brothers and was driven down the mountain by the master.

Seeing this scene, he felt very annoyed and his interest dropped greatly, so he flipped through the book hastily.

When they saw the chaos in the Dragon Palace was actually the chaos in the ghost underworld, they applauded.

When you saw King Qin Guang of the Underworld go to Heaven to complain to the Jade Emperor, and Taibai Jinxing recruited you to Heaven to become Heaven's stable Ma Wen, you felt furious.

When he saw in the book that he returned to the Flower-Fruit Mountain and proclaimed himself the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, a look of joy appeared on his face again.

This is the name that Sun Wukong deserves, majestic and domineering.

But when I saw myself in the book being recruited again to look after the Peach Garden, the Queen Mother held a Peach Festival and invited all kinds of gods but not you. I thought to myself how despicable the Queen Mother was!
When Sun Wukong saw himself pretending to be the barefoot immortal, eating and drinking to his heart's content in the Yaochi Palace, stealing the golden elixir in the Tushita Palace, and causing a scene at the Peach Banquet, his saliva was drooling and he praised himself in his heart.

But when you saw the truth come out, the heavenly soldiers and generals came down to earth, and you were captured by the heaven, your brows were furrowed.

"I was actually caught by the Heavenly Court!" Sun Wukong scratched his face subconsciously.

He didn't understand why he lost.

His great interest made him continue reading, but he found that himself in the book was subjected to various punishments but was not hurt at all. Taishang Laojun suggested that he throw himself into his Bagua furnace to boil out the golden elixir in his body.

"This Taishang Laojun is really cruel!" Sun Wukong secretly kept this old man in his heart.

He continued to read in the book, and found that although he had been trained in the Bagua furnace for 49 days, he was unharmed and instead developed a pair of Fiery Eyes.

Not only did he kick over the Bagua Furnace, he also caused a huge disturbance in the Heavenly Palace, even going outside the Lingxiao Palace and causing a big commotion in the sky.

"It's really refreshing!" Sun Wukong clapped his hands again.

Seeing this, my heart was boiling with excitement, and I couldn't wait to kill everyone and even reach the heaven.

However, the Jade Emperor in the book sat firmly in the Lingxiao Palace and even ordered the Buddha from the West to come and suppress him.

He made a bet with Buddha Tathagata, believing that if he won he could replace Buddha and become the Jade Emperor of Heaven.

Seeing this scene, Sun Wukong was very happy and felt that the throne of Jade Emperor must be his.

But as he continued to read, his face turned green and he was extremely angry, and he even closed the book. The reason for this was that he found that he had lost in the book, and Tathagata turned his hand into the Five Finger Mountain and suppressed him in the lower world.

No matter how I resisted in the book, I would be completely suppressed by Tathagata with a golden sticker and could not move at all.

After being suppressed for five hundred years, the Buddhist Bodhisattva took the initiative to come to the Five Elements Mountain and asked himself in the book to become a disciple of the pilgrim. In the future, he converted to Buddhism and left the Five Elements Mountain.

Although the self in the book was reluctant, he still agreed.

"I lost and was suppressed? This is absolutely impossible. Everything in this book is definitely not the future!" said Sun Wukong.

He didn't think that he would lose. Why was he suppressed under the Five Elements Mountain by the Buddha in the West?
He also didn't believe that his fate had already been arranged.

Moreover, if he had been suppressed by the Buddha in the West for so long, how could he choose to convert to Buddhism and become a disciple of Buddhism.

Given his personality, he would never beg for mercy on his own initiative.

Thinking of this, Sun Wukong put away "Journey to the West" and never wanted to read the contents of the book again.

He doesn't believe in fate. He wants to see if he will be like what is written in the book.
Time passed quickly, and three hundred years had passed in the blink of an eye. During this period, Sun Wukong witnessed the deaths of too many monkeys and his mentality also changed.

He began to doubt the authenticity of the book "Journey to the West" and began to doubt his own future. Would it be like what was in the book?

On this day, when Sun Wukong was feeling sad, a monkey appeared and mentioned the method of immortality.

According to Tongbei Monkey, only by learning the method of longevity can one not be limited by lifespan and not die like monkeys.

At this moment, Sun Wukong's suspicion deepened further.

After all, everything he was experiencing now was exactly the same as in the book.

Moreover, it was a monkey who took the initiative to mention the method of immortality.

This situation not only made him doubt the authenticity of "Journey to the West", but also made him worry about his own future.

The next day, in order to further verify his guess, Sun Wukong chose to leave Huaguo Mountain.

He wanted to look outside the Flower-Fruit Mountain to see if there was a true method to immortality, or if there was a Sanxing Cave in the Fangcun Mountain.

Before leaving, he not only made many preparations, but also brought the book "Journey to the West" with him.

After wandering aimlessly in the East China Sea for seven years, Sun Wukong arrived at the Southern Continent, which deepened his doubts and made him believe more in the future in "Journey to the West".

However, according to the book, there is no path to immortality in Jambu Continent, so he did not waste time here.

Instead, he traveled to the West Sea and crossed the sea again. After drifting in the West Sea for three years, Sun Wukong arrived at Xiniu Hezhou.

Just as it was written in the book, Sun Wukong went ashore to look for it and met a woodcutter.

Under the guidance of the woodcutter, Sun Wukong traveled through mountains and rivers and finally saw a cave behind a hillside.

Outside the gate of the mansion, there are exotic flowers and fragrant grass beside the bridge.

In the mountains, cranes are flying and phoenixes are soaring. When the cranes cry, their voices shake the sky. When the phoenixes soar, their feathers shine like five-colored clouds. It is truly a blessed land.

Suddenly, he saw a stone tablet on the cliff, about three feet high and eight feet wide, with ten large characters in a row on it, which read "Lingtai Fangcun Mountain, Xieyue Sanxing Cave".

"Sure enough, there is such a mountain and such a cave!" Sun Wukong said to himself.

After seeing the Sanxing Cave in Fangcun Mountain, he did not show any joy at all, but became even more worried.

The appearance of Sanxing Cave in Fangcun Mountain made him realize that what was written in "Journey to the West" was most likely true, and the experiences in the book were his future.

The experiences of being recruited by the Heavenly Court, causing chaos at the Peach Banquet, causing havoc in the Heavenly Palace, and being pressed under the Five Finger Mountain may all be true.

He was unwilling to accept that kind of future, he wanted to change, at least he couldn't lose.

The next moment, the cave door opened wide and a voice was heard.

"Who is harassing us here?"

Among them walked out a fairy boy with a handsome figure and a unique appearance, far superior to ordinary mortals.

Seeing the fairy boy walking out, Sun Wukong hurried forward.

"Fairy boy, I am not here to disturb you, I am only here to seek the immortals and ask for the truth!" said Sun Wukong.

Hearing the voice, the fairy boy saw Sun Wukong, but his expression changed slightly, as if he was somewhat surprised by Sun Wukong's arrival.

However, in just a moment, the fairy boy's expression returned to normal.

"Since you want to ask for the Tao, please follow me in!" said the fairy boy.

Immediately afterwards, the fairy boy led Sun Wukong into the Sanxing Cave.

At the same time, in the Lingshan Secret Realm, Maitreya was guarding outside the Buddhist temple.

"Disciple, come in!" A voice came from inside the Buddhist hall.

Maitreya bowed and entered the Buddhist temple.

Sitting on the main seat in the Buddhist temple was the sage Zhunti Taoist.

"Maitreya, how are things going?" asked the Taoist Master Zhunti.

After cooperating with the Heavenly Court and the Chan Sect, he immediately set about undermining Mahayana Buddhism.

Since he could not enter the prehistoric world, this matter was entirely left to Maitreya.

Among them, there are not only three generations of disciples of Western religion, but even direct disciples who joined Mahayana Buddhism.

Now, some time has passed since Maitreya carried out this matter, so he naturally wants to ask about the progress of this matter?

After all, this matter concerns the foundation of Western religions. The catastrophe of Journey to the West is getting closer and closer, and it would be better to eliminate Mahayana Buddhism as soon as possible so as to avoid problems.

“Master, rest assured, I have already made all the arrangements. The disciples who join Mahayana Buddhism are carefully selected.

Moreover, Junior Brother Ksitigarbha has already joined Mahayana Buddhism and is highly regarded by Kong Xuan, and has already held a high position! " Maitreya responded.

When he learned of his master's plan, he was amazed at how powerful this strategy was.

The problems of Western religions can be solved without bloodshed.

Now, as Mahayana Buddhism was in need of people, he was able to carry out this plan extremely smoothly without any obstacles at all.

Moreover, with the help of Ksitigarbha, who holds a high position, the infiltration of Western religions into Mahayana Buddhism will become easier.

"Well done. After today, you can select some suitable disciples and join Ksitigarbha in Mahayana Buddhism!" replied the Bodhisattva Cundi.

He was naturally very satisfied with what Maitreya had done.

However, since this concerns the foundation of Western religion, we must be absolutely sure of this matter.

It is far from enough to rely solely on Ksitigarbha and other Western religious disciples.

If one wants to completely undermine Mahayana Buddhism, not only does one need a high-ranking disciple like Ksitigarbha, but one also needs more Western religious disciples!
"I obey your command. I will do it right away!" Maitreya agreed immediately. (End of this chapter)
