Huozhen made meritorious service during the Western Expedition in the fifth year of Yongle and died in battle. Zhu Di posthumously named him Marquis of Tongan Township, and his son Huocheng was appointed as the commander of Guanhaiwei.

Tan Yuan made meritorious service during the Western Expedition in the fifth year of Yongle and died in battle. He was posthumously granted the title of Marquis of Chong'an Township. Because of his crimes during his lifetime, his son was not allowed to succeed him.

Zhang Yu was granted the title of Marquis of Pingxiang in the fourth year of Yongle for his contribution to pacifying the Six Guards of Guanxi Province. He died in the Western Expedition. In the fifth year of Yongle, he was posthumously granted the title of Duke of Pingjun, with the posthumous title of Zhongxian. Zhu Di appointed him as the number one contributor to the pacification of the Western Regions.

In the 17th year of Yongle, Zhu Di posthumously named Zhang Yu the Duke of Pingguo, allowing him to enjoy the temple.

Wang Zhen made meritorious service in the Western Expedition in the fifth year of Yongle and died in battle. He was posthumously named Marquis of Jinxiang. Zhu Di appointed him as the second hero in pacifying the Western Regions. In the fifth year of Yongle, he was posthumously named Duke of Jinxian County. He was given the posthumous title of Zhongzhuang and was allowed to enjoy the temple. court.

Five others, including Chen Heng, Ru Yu, Guo Yi, Xue Bin, and Xue Gui, were awarded lifetime titles, while two others, Zhang Wu and Chen Xu, were removed from their titles because they died without children.

Chen Heng, in the 31st year of Hongwu's reign, was granted the title of Jinghe Tingbo for his meritorious service and was granted the title of nobility for life. He died of illness in the early years of Yongle.

His eldest son Chen Gongsi, the governor-general, is now the commander of the Staff Department of the Governor-General's Office in Zhili.

Rujun, in the early years of Yongle, was granted the title of Uncle Zhongzhong and a lifelong peerage due to his commendation. In the seventh year of Yongle, he died of illness at home and was given the posthumous title of Zhongzhong.

Guo Yi, in the 16th year of Yongle's Northern Expedition, was granted the title of Anyang County Boge, with a lifelong title. He died of illness in the 21st year of Yongle.

Xue Bin, in the 18th year of Yongle, was awarded the title of Yongshun Township Bo and a lifelong peerage for his merits. He died of illness in the 22nd year of Yongle.

Xue Gui, who was awarded the title of County Count of Anshun in the 20th year of Yongle, was granted the title of lifelong nobleman. He is still alive today (introduced below).

Zhang Wu, in the fourth year of Yongle, was granted the title of Marquis of Yangxiang due to his Ping'an Nan meritorious service. In the 16th year of Yongle, he accompanied the army to the north and died in battle. He was given the posthumous title of Zhongyi to the Duke of Lu. Since there was no viscount, he was allowed to enjoy the temple court by Zhu Di and gave him a favor. The purpose is to select a younger generation from his relatives to adopt him and worship him.

In the fourth year of Yongle, Chen Xu was granted the title of Yunyang Bo by Ping'an Nan Gong. After his death due to illness, he was removed from the title because he had no children. However, Zhu Di issued an order to select a younger generation from his relatives to adopt him and enshrine him.

Among the 36 titles conferred during the Yongle period, a total of seven titles were expelled due to crimes in the second year of Qianxi. Some of them were passed down to two generations, such as Fengcheng Marquis, and some were passed down to three generations, such as Zhenyuan Marquis. .

He Fu, in the second year of Yongle, he was granted the title of Marquis of Ningyuan for his contribution to the pacification of the Boyi Kingdom. In the tenth year of Yongle, he underestimated the enemy during the Northern Expedition, which resulted in the death of three thousand Ming troops. He was convicted and expelled from the title, demoted to a commoner, and died in depression.

Li Bin was granted the title of Fengcheng Rural Marquis with Ping'an Nan Gong in the fourth year of Yongle. He died of illness in the 22nd year of Yongle. His eldest son, Li Xiansi, was the county magistrate and concurrently served as the commander of the Liangzhou Guard.

When Li Xian was in office, he was too lazy to control his affairs, which led to Tatar soldiers plundering the people. He was repeatedly impeached by the admonishment platform, and was dismissed by Zhu Di.

Wang You, in the [-]th year of Yongle, conquered the north and was granted the title of Qingyuan County Bodhisattva. In the later period of Yongle, he was convicted and expelled from his title, and died at home.

Liu Sheng was granted the title of Bo of Anyuan County in the fourth year of Yongle's reign due to Ping'an Nan Gong. In the first year of Qianxi's reign, he was expelled from his title due to a crime.

Gu Cheng was granted the title of Marquis of Zhenyuan County for his achievements in the 16th year of Yongle. His grandson, Gu Xingzu, the third generation Marquis of Zhenyuan Township, was convicted and expelled from the title in the second year of Qianxi.

Zheng Heng, in the 16th year of Yongle's Northern Expedition, was granted the title of Marquis of Wu'an Township for his meritorious service. In the first year of Qianxi's reign, he was dismissed from the title.

Liu Rong, in the 16th year of Yongle's Northern Expedition, was granted the title of Bo of Guangning County for his meritorious service. Later, he became arrogant due to his merits. He was repeatedly impeached by the imperial censor, was dismissed by Zhu Di, and died in depression.

However, after Zhu Gaoxu succeeded to the throne, in order to show the emperor's great kindness, he ordered Liu Rong's son Liu Tuan to seize the title of Guangning Tingbo for life, and promoted him to the commander of the three armies of Beijing in June of the first year of Qianxi.Unfortunately, Liu Tuan, the uncle of Guangning, was implicated in Lu Zhen's case and was dismissed from office, retaining only his title.

Therefore, among the 36 meritorious officials who were granted titles during the Yongle period, as of July of the second year of Qianxi, only 11 are still alive and have not lost their titles, and the titles of seven others have been passed on to their descendants.

Sheng Yong was granted the title of Marquis of Licheng in the second year of Yongle. In the fourth year of Yongle, he was granted the title of County Duke after pacifying Annan Gong.

After he became an official due to his old age in the middle of Yongle period, he died of illness within a few years. His eldest son, Sheng Yan, became the Duke of Licheng County.

Sheng Yanyi was appreciated by Zhu Di, and he later followed him in the Northern Expedition and was promoted to the title of Duke of the country due to his achievements. In June of the second year of Qianxi, he was promoted to the Commander-in-Chief of Ordnance of the Metropolitan Governor's Office.

Qiu Fu was granted the title of Marquis of Qi for his meritorious service in the expedition against Timur in the third year of Yongle, and was later promoted to the rank of Duke due to his meritorious service. In the tenth year of Yongle, he followed Zhu Di on his second northern expedition and was granted the title of Duke of Qi for his meritorious service. He is still alive today, but he is too old. In April of the second year of Qianxi, he returned to his hometown as an official.

Mu Sheng was granted the title of Duke of Qian County in the fourth year of Yongle's reign due to his Ping'an Nan Gong Jin Dynasty. Later, he was promoted to Duke of Guizhou Province due to his meritorious service. Now he is idle at home.

Chen Xuan, in the [-]th year of Yongle, was granted the title of Marquis of Pingjiang Township due to his many years of service at sea. In June of the first year of Qianxi, he was promoted to the Commander-in-Chief of the Nanyang Navy by Zhu Gaoxu, from the first rank, and later went to sea with Zhu Di.

Xu Xiang, in the fourth year of Yongle, was granted the title of Tingbo of Xing'an by Ping'an Nan Gong. After he died of illness in the sixth year of Yongle, his legitimate son died, so Zhu Di specially ordered his eldest grandson Xu Heng to be named Tingbo.

In the [-]th year of Yongle, Xu Heng accompanied the Northern Expedition and made meritorious service, and was promoted to county magistrate. In September of the first year of Qianxi, he was transferred to Datong Guards.

Song Sheng, in the fourth year of Yongle, was granted the title of Marquis of Xining County for his contribution to defeating the Seven Guards of Guanxi (especially for his contribution to the recovery of Hami). After his death of illness in the ninth year of Yongle, his son Song Xuan assumed the title of Marquis of Xining Township. In June of the second year of Qianxi, the Song Dynasty Xuan was promoted to the post of Military Counselor-General of the Anbei Dudufu.

Wang Tong, the son of Wang Zhen, the Marquis of Jinxiang, was granted the title of Marquis of Shanxiang for his meritorious service in the north in the [-]th year of Yongle. In June of the second year of Qianxi, he was promoted to the military and political governor of the Anbei Dudufu.

Xue Gui, in the 20th year of Yongle's reign, was granted the title of County Count of Anshun and a lifelong peerage. In June of the second year of Qianxi's reign, he was promoted to the post of military admiral of the First Army in Anbei.

Li Yuan was awarded the title of Marquis of Anping Township for his meritorious service in the Western Expedition in the fifth year of Yongle. In June of the second year of Qianxi, he was promoted to the post of Military Counselor-General of the Zhili Dudu Prefecture.

Xue Lu, in the 16th year of Yongle's Northern Expedition, was granted the title of Marquis of Yangwu County. In June of the second year of Qianxi, he was promoted to the military and political governor of the Zhili Governor's Office.

Wang Cong, in the fourth year of Yongle, was granted the title of Wucheng Rural Marquis with Ping'an Nan Gong. After his death of illness, his eldest son, Wang Yan, became the county boss. In June of the second year of Qianxi, Wang Yan was promoted to the commander of the Military and Legal Affairs Department of the Zhili Dudu Prefecture.

Xu Li was granted the title of Wukang Tingbo by Ping'an Nan Gong in the fourth year of Yongle. After his death from illness, his eldest son Xu Zhen ascended the throne. In June of the second year of Qianxi, Xu Zhen was promoted to the commander of the Ordnance Department of Zhili Dudu Mansion.

Chen Gui was a Marquis of Taining County in the [-]th year of Yongle's Northern Campaign. His title was passed down to his eldest grandson, Chen Zhong, who was the third generation to inherit the title. He was the county magistrate. In June of the second year of Qianxi, Chen Zhong was promoted to the commander of the Fuxuan Division of the Zhili Governor's Office. .

Zhang Fu was granted the title of Marquis of Xincheng County by Ping'an Nan Gong in the fourth year of Yongle. In April of the first year of Qianxi, he has been appointed as the military and political admiral of the First Army of Beijing to this day.

Zhu Neng, in the fourth year of Yongle, was granted the title of Tingbo for pacing the Six Guards of Guanxi Province. Later, he was granted the title of Marquis of the Countryside. In April of the first year of the Qianxi Emperor's reign, he has been appointed as the Military Admiral of the Second Army of Beijing to this day.

Chen Mao, the youngest son of Jinghe Tingbo Chen Heng, was granted the title of Bo of Ningyang County in the [-]th year of Yongle for his meritorious service in the north. In the later period of Yongle, he was promoted to the rank of rural marquis. In April of the first year of Qianxi, he has been appointed as the military admiral of the three armies in Beijing to this day.

Wu Yuncheng, in the 14th year of Yongle's reign, was granted the title of Gongshun County Bodhisattva.

Wu Kezhong initially served as the military admiral of the Shaanxi-Pu Army. Not long ago, he was demoted by Zhu Gaoxu to the guard general of Yongning City due to his crimes.

Qu Neng was awarded the title of Bo of Pingyang County for his meritorious service in the north of the [-]th year of Yongle. In June of the second year of Qianxi, he was promoted to the Military Staff Governor of the Shaanxi-Pu Dudufu.
