Chapter 144 Heavenly Book? No!Emperor of Heaven steps into time

Chapter 144 Heavenly Book? No!Emperor of Heaven steps into time
a few days later.

Jiang Yao stood in front of a cliff out of thin air, looking at an old tree growing on the extremely hard cliff. After sensing the situation inside the cliff, a hint of joy appeared on his face.

'Finally found! '

Thinking about it, Jiang Yao reached out and grabbed the old tree and pulled it out hard.

With a roar, the tree shook violently, and earth and rocks fell. Jiang Yao easily pulled out the old tree and threw it down.

A cave appeared in front of Jiang Yao's eyes, and there was light coming from inside.

Seeing this, Jiang Yao did not hesitate, moved his feet and entered the cave.

The stone walls inside the cave are inlaid with luminous stones, emitting soft light, which actually illuminates the entire cave quite brightly.

After understanding the situation here, Jiang Yao quickly walked towards the cave without stopping. After a while, he heard the sound of water flowing.

When they reached the end of the passage, a curtain of water appeared in front of Jiang Yao. It descended from the top of the cave and formed a crystal clear and beautiful small pool below.

Walking to the water curtain, Jiang Yao looked up and saw seven palm-sized red stones inlaid on the stone wall at the top of the cave. They were as red as blood. When the water droplets from the water curtain flowed through these stones, they were covered by them. It reflected a red color like blood, like blood drops.

'It is indeed a bleeding hole! '

Seeing this scene, Jiang Yao breathed a sigh of relief. This feature meant that this was indeed the bleeding cave where the first volume of the Book of Heaven was hidden.

Recalling how to open the Dripping Blood Cave in the original work, Jiang Yao turned his attention to the small tunnel below and saw ripples on the water. The reflection of the seven red stones on the top of the cave in the water formed a palm-like shape, quiet. Floating in it.

Seeing this, Jiang Yao leaned down, stretched out his right hand, crossed the pool, and pressed down where his palm was reflected.

The pool was not very deep. After Jiang Yao's palm touched the sand at the bottom of the pool, he found seven slightly raised places based on the reflection of the seven red stones on the top of the cave, and pressed them gently.

After a moment, a clicking sound sounded in the cave.

Standing up, Jiang Yao found that behind the water curtain at the end of the passage, the smooth and seemingly extremely hard stone wall slowly retreated, revealing a new hole.

Seeing this, Jiang Yao's eyes showed a hint of joy, he moved his feet and instantly moved towards the cave.

This is a dark tunnel. There are many fewer glowing stones on the stone walls on both sides than on the previous section. The passage seems a bit dim, but it does not affect Jiang Yao's speed at all.

After a while, he came to the end of the tunnel.

It is a huge stone chamber, circular in shape, flanked by two huge stone statues.

A statue with kind eyebrows and kind eyes, standing with a smile, looks like the Buddhist Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.

The other statue has a ferocious look, eight legs and four hands, and a trace of blood left at the corner of its mouth, which is in sharp contrast to the other statue.

Jiang Yao knew that these were the two gods worshiped by the demon sect in this world, the Holy Mother of Youming and the King of Heavenly Evil.

'I don't know which boss's vest it is! '

Jiang Yao secretly complained, without stopping, he moved his feet, passed the two statues, and continued towards the inside.

He is not a member of the demon sect in this world, nor does he know these two people, so naturally he will not stop to worship.

If it were a statue of Sanqing Tianzun enshrined like Qingyun Gate, he would naturally stop and offer the big man a stick of incense as a sign before leaving, leaving these two alone.

After not walking far, a more spacious place appeared in front of me.

This is a cave made of stalactites. There are all kinds of strange stalactites in the cave. At the entrance of the cave is a huge stone tablet with several large Chinese characters engraved on it:
Heaven and earth are not benevolent, and all things are dogs!
The writing style of these ten characters is simple and vigorous, as if there is a powerful meaning staying in them, giving people a majestic momentum that roars into the sky.

Looking at this sentence that runs through the five volumes of the Book of Heaven, and feeling the meaning contained in it, Jiang Yao couldn't help but sigh, the black-hearted old man can be considered a character, at least his spiritual state is not inferior to that of the outside scene.

At the same time, Jiang Yao became more curious about the contents of the Heavenly Book.

After passing the stone monument, there is a blue stone platform in the stalactite cave behind, with a skeleton sitting cross-legged on it, which should be the remains of the black-hearted old man.

Two more passages appeared on both sides of the skeleton.

Recalling the path Zhang Xiaofan chose in the original work, Jiang Yao moved his feet and headed towards the passage on the left.

A moment later, a stone room appeared in front of Jiang Yao's eyes, which moved his heart and subconsciously quickened his pace.

Entering the stone chamber, it was empty. What caught Jiang Yao's eyes were the densely packed words carved on the surrounding hard walls.

Seeing this, Jiang Yao breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that the plot was similar to the original work, so he would have a goal in finding other volumes of the Book of Heaven.

Thinking about it, Jiang Yao placed his eyes on these stone carvings and watched them carefully from the beginning.

I saw that at the beginning of the stone carving, there were only two simple and vigorous characters engraved: Book of Heaven!
Afterwards it was written: Volume [-] of the Heavenly Book!
The creator of heaven and earth, it is said that in the time of chaos, ignorance and undifferentiation, the sun and the moon contain their brilliance, and the heaven and earth are mixed with their bodies. The clarity has changed, and the clarity and turbidity have become old.

The reason why heaven and earth can last forever is because they do not generate themselves, so they can live forever. However, all things in the heaven and earth have their own characteristics. All living beings are obsessed and confused by the appearance of myself, the appearance of others, the appearance of all living beings, and the appearance of living beings. They think that they are all appearances, and the three poisons, three fears, and three terrors in their hearts cannot last long.

The five punishments of the celestial phenomena, the Tao praises the nameless, so it is said that those who have no self, no one, no sentient beings, and no life span will reach the light.

Adhering to the righteous way, the inner body is self-nature, and the heaven and earth take the origin as the heart.

Therefore, in the movement and rest of the earth, the heaven and the earth have no mind.

So there is no truth.

Therefore, the heaven and the earth are left to nature, and there is nothing to do or create.

If the old thing does not exist, it is not enough to prepare!

There is no cultivation method in this text, only some insights about heaven and earth, and a summary of the principles, which can be regarded as the general outline of the heavenly book.

However, the three paths of Buddhism, Taoism and Demon are all-encompassing and seem to record the essence of practice.

The moment he read this text, even Jiang Yao, who had mastered many magical skills, had many different experiences. He was immersed in it for a while, and many insights came to his heart.

The "Eight-Nine Mysterious Techniques" in his body are naturally operating, and these insights are perfectly integrated into the operation of his mind.

This peerless magical skill practiced by Jiang Yao was originally created by the Buddhist body of Yuanshi Tianzun, the Holy Buddha, and it contains the supreme avenue of Buddhism and Taoism.

At this time, he realized that the Buddhist insights contained in the heavenly book were also perfectly accommodated by the mental method and became part of its ability to accommodate changes.

Tolerate changes, the body becomes immortal, everything becomes empty, and the mind realizes Bodhi!

The four general outlines of the opening chapter of "Eight-Nine Mysterious Skills" appeared in Jiang Yao's mind. At this moment, his understanding of this mental method became even more refined.

In his body, his mind was at an infinite height, and acupuncture points as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River were constantly vibrating. The inner world began to change and adjust according to his own understanding. His breath became more complete and inclusive, and his connection with the heaven and earth became closer.

At the same time, the shadow of the mysterious ancient tree in the spiritual world suddenly appeared in Jiang Yao's heart, and all the insights he gained from understanding the ancient tree in the past flowed in his mind.

The vigorous tree body of the ancient tree contains the lines of the principles of the Tao, and it seems that the Tao charm of the branches and leaves of the heavens and the world emerges in Jiang Yao's heart.

At this moment, Jiang Yao's body seemed to have the shadow of an ancient tree that penetrated the infinity and exceeded the limit. Every leaf and every texture of the ancient tree seemed to be a universe, a world.

At this time, the world transformed by his branches, leaves, and textures seems to be merging with the world transformed by the acupuncture points as many as the sands of the Ganges River in Jiang Yao's body.

The phantom of this world tree seemed to have become the existence of all the heavens and worlds derived from the acupuncture points that supported Jiang Yao's body. It became a part of his inner world, making his inner world more and more stable.

At this moment, Jiang Yao seemed to have found his own path, the inner world seemed to be completely adjusted to a perfect state, and his spiritual realm was about to enter a new level.

But after a moment, in a trance, the realization in his heart dissipated, and Jiang Yao's body returned to its original state, as if everything just now was an illusion.

Only then did Jiang Yao realize that he had unconsciously read all the stone carvings on the stone wall.

Amidst a feeling of loss, the voice of the Lord of Six Paths of Reincarnation sounded in Jiang Yao's ears:

'Main mission: Collect five volumes of the Book of Heaven and complete one-fifth of it'

However, before Jiang Yao could react, his expression suddenly changed, a dazed look appeared on his face, and his mind instantly sank into the spiritual world.

The original first volume of the Book of Heaven appeared in Jiang Yao's mind, turning into countless words that kept flying, and waves of ethereal Taoist sounds sounded.

I don’t know how long it took, but suddenly the words gathered together and turned into a sacred and majestic figure.

This figure has an extremely noble and ancient temperament, and the river of time is entwined around his body, as if suppressing the long river of time.

He is holding a sparkling long sword and looking forward, as if he is looking down at the heavens and the world, suppressing all things in the world.

Suddenly, an extremely bright sword light lit up, like a beating water light, causing ripples and reflecting the world.

The world instantly turned into black and white, and everything in the world came to a standstill under this knife, turning into a black and white picture.

Jiang Yao's mind was completely immersed in this sword, and he felt as if he had seen the origin of the great road and the ultimate principle of the sword.

At the same time, a familiar feeling came to my mind. It was a hint of understanding of the changes in time that I had experienced when I entered Tianhaiyuan.

At this moment, this realization was like an introduction, allowing Jiang Yao to suddenly have a different kind of understanding of this bright sword light that stagnated all the worlds, as if he had understood some of the secrets in it.

After an unknown amount of time, the black and white picture in front of him shattered and disappeared, and the noble and majestic sacred figure also disappeared, leaving only an incomplete inheritance of true meaning remaining in Jiang Yao's mind.

And this incomplete inheritance is a Dharmakaya-level peerless sword technique called:

The Emperor of Heaven stepped on time!
