The power consumption of the VIA CPU basically meets the needs, but the performance is too low. Serious lags will occur if you play a high-definition video. You don't want a laptop like this.
In the end, after many attempts failed, we had no choice but to roll up our sleeves and do it ourselves, starting from scratch and developing a laptop processor that takes into account both power saving and performance. The Reda M1 chip is a processor specially developed by our Reda Technology for the Reda MateBook laptop. It adopts a new ARM architecture and instruction set and has excellent performance and power consumption control. Specifically, the M1 chip uses 7-nanometer process technology and integrates up to 160 billion transistors, which is more energy-efficient, smaller, and faster than the mainstream 28-nanometer process technology on the market.
