But this does not mean that as long as one gets rid of the twelve links of dependent origination, one will definitely become a Buddha.
In normal practice, after gradually recognizing the twelve links of dependent origination, one must gain enlightenment step by step, unravel all causes and conditions, and explain cause and effect, until finally, one can gain great enlightenment.
Tianjue monk uses external force to sever other people's affinity with Buddhism. Since others are not enlightened from the heart, they naturally cannot become Buddhas. They will only be in a state of nirvana, similar to death.
As for Monk Tianjue himself, although he possessed great magical powers, what he did was to sever the cause and effect, rather than to resolve it, so he had long deviated from the right path of "pure bliss" and would bring disaster to the world.
As early as when he just felt the disappearance of Dongyue Demon God, he had already quietly launched the first level of power of the "Welcome the Buddha to the West" move.

It is appropriate to use the Wood Spirit Demon God as the incarnation of the Immovable Tathagata.
But this is only the Big Five Elements. Every object has its own Small Five Elements. There is water in wood. If you cut a giant tree with a knife, juice will seep out of the wood instantly. There is gold in wood. The moment you attack it, there will be sound and recoil...
There is fire in the wood, and the heat from the wood makes its scent spread outward. Even if the wind around it changes in a thousand ways, it cannot blow away all the scent around a tree.
These changes are also the foundation of the Way of Wood.
If one uses the Way of Wood to incarnate into the Immovable Tathagata, but is too extreme, it would be close to the Way of Demon. How could one defeat the devil among devils like the Monk Tian Jue who can sense the original demon king?
