Chapter 9 Return to Yellowstone

Chapter 9 Return to Yellowstone
John's idea is simple. Running a ranch requires reliable help.

Nothing in this world is more reliable than family.

When it comes to his "biological son" Jamie, John is willing to let him go out and give him the greatest support.

The three children who are related to this body by blood have to stay and look after the family.

The eldest son, Lee Dutton, is familiar with various affairs of the ranch, but unfortunately his character is not strong and decisive enough, so he can only be trained as a deputy.

John has already established a good relationship with his younger son, Keith Dutton, and will send him to West Point Military Academy after graduating from high school, hoping to stay in the military for future development.

Daughter Beth Dutton will follow the trajectory of the original drama, taking the route of a strong business woman and helping the Dutton family eliminate business enemies in the future.

Under normal circumstances, the Dutton family also needs a reliable person who is good at handling various legal issues.

This role was originally played by Jamie in the original series.

But after confirming that this is a world composed of countless American TV series and movies, Jamie recommended a more suitable person to John.

Then there's Rip.

John will definitely have this future God of War in Yellowstone firmly in his hands.

Although Rip has always been loyal to the ranch in the original play, he is also John's staunchest supporter in defending the ranch, and eventually marries Beth.

But because Beth was infertile, the two were unable to have a child of their own.

Now that Beth is pregnant with their child, why doesn't she give birth?
Once this child is born, it will become the strongest link between Rip, Beth and the ranch.

The only problem is probably how to get Beth to give birth to the child.

John gave Beth two choices.

The first is to obediently give birth to the child. Considering that Beth is too young, the child is adopted by Li first and is declared to be Li's illegitimate child.

When Beth grows up and is able to fulfill her responsibilities as a mother in the future, she will find an opportunity to tell her children the truth.

Another option is to go out of state to give Beth an abortion, but when he comes back, John will shoot Rip who made Beth pregnant.

Beth chose the former.

John sent Beth to Wyoming next door on the pretext of studying abroad.

More than seven months later, Beth gave birth to a baby boy.

The eldest son, Lee, took the baby boy back to the farm and John named him Ryan Dutton.

After Beth recovered, John sent her to a boarding school for girls in Utah until she was admitted to college.

Jamie did not tell Serena the whole thing without reservation, only that Beth unexpectedly became pregnant and gave birth to a child, and was later sent to Salt Lake City by her father to go to school.

Soon Serena meets Jamie's rebellious sister.

At the place where they agreed to get in the car, Serena saw a blond girl standing on the side of the road.

The other person is almost as tall as her, with blond hair and freckles on his face that are very eye-catching.

Her appearance can only be described as average, but she has a good figure and temperament. She is still very attractive if she dresses up carefully.

What surprised Serena the most was that the other party actually held a cigarette in his hand and was puffing away at it very skillfully.

Seeing Jamie's RV approaching, the girl threw the cigarette on the ground and stamped it out with her foot.

As soon as the car stopped, the girl opened the door and got directly into the car.

Serena turned around from the passenger seat and was about to say hello to the girl, but the girl ignored her and went straight to the RV locker.

After rummaging through the boxes and cabinets for a while but not finding what she wanted, the girl raised her head and raised her middle finger towards Jamie, who was watching her quietly in the rearview mirror.

"Fake!"

"There's not even a bottle of wine in the car. How dare you say you're a man?"

Jamie looked away from the rearview mirror and started the car.

The girl sat down on the sofa angrily and lit another cigarette for herself.

"Hi Beth, I'm Serena."

Serena tried to say hello to the girl, but she received an annoyed eye roll in return. "Here's a piece of advice for you, if you want to be with a guy like Jamie, be prepared to be betrayed by this guy at any time."

Serena looked at Jamie worriedly.

Fortunately, Jamie wasn't angry.

He never felt that he and Beth were on the same side, even if she was his nominal sister.

Naturally, there is no talk of betrayal.

Seeing that her words failed to anger Jamie, Beth immediately shouted to stop the car.

Just when Serena thought Jamie would ignore Beth, Jamie actually pulled over the RV.

Beth got out of the car and walked into a roadside store.

A few minutes later, Beth got into the car with a box of whiskey in her arms, still cursing and greeting the store owner's family.

Because she couldn't prove that she was of legal drinking age, she had to pay double the price to "persuade" the boss to sell her alcohol.

The RV is back on the road.

Serena finally failed to withstand Beth's temptation, and the two women began to drink together in the car.

Beth underestimated Serena, thinking she was just a rich girl from New York.

Unexpectedly, Serena's "drinking age" was longer than hers. When she was 13 years old, her mother Lily was sent to a nursing home because of her alcoholism.

When it comes to drinking, Serena really doesn't give up on Beth at all.

In the end, the two women got very drunk and fell asleep on the table.

Jamie drove away from Salt Lake City, all the way north through Idaho, and officially entered the boundaries of Yellowstone Park at the junction of the three states that evening.

To the north of Yellowstone Park is the Dutton family's Yellowstone Ranch.

According to Jamie's plan, he is going to find an RV campground to stay in and return to the ranch early tomorrow morning.

However, a Ford F350 was already waiting on the roadside leading to the RV campground.

Seeing the yellow Y letter mark printed on the door of the F350, Jamie drove the RV off the road and parked next to the car.

A strong man with a beard got off the F350. He looked to be in his thirties, but in fact he was only 23 years old.

Jamie got out of the car and hugged each other.

"Welcome home, Jamie."

The strong man hugged Jamie and said.

After the hug ended, the strong man couldn't help but glance towards the RV.

Jamie knew who he was looking for, but deliberately changed the subject.

"Rip, is everyone okay at the ranch?"

"Of course, we have recruited a new group of cowboys. Now the small ranchers in the surrounding area want to sell their land and join John. After all, working as cowboys on the Yellowstone Ranch can make much more money than running the ranch themselves."

"Where's Lloyd? I thought John would send him to pick me up on the road this time."

Jamie asked seemingly casually.

In fact, John did arrange it this way, but Rip took the initiative to take over the job for Lloyd.

As for the reason, of course it was because of Beth, who was still sleeping soundly in the RV.

Jamie turned back to the RV, carried the drunken Beth out of the car, and dumped her directly to Rip.

"You take her away first. Serena and I are going to play in Yellowstone for a few days before returning to the ranch."

"Serena?"

"She is my girlfriend. It's a pity that I can't introduce her to you now. Thanks to this crazy woman, she is also drunk and unconscious now."

Rip nodded and walked toward the F350 with Beth in his arms.
