Chapter 24 Guilt
The man fell to the ground slumped.

"There's no point in being sorry. My son's life is gone. Do you want to compensate me? What compensation can you give me?"

He rushed forward crazily, and his hands were clamped by Zhou Zerong again.

The crowd was once again in an uproar, finally attracting the dean's attention.

The middle-aged man scolded Zhou Zerong, glanced at Jiang Yuzhu, focused on the man on the ground, and finally spoke.

"Sir, this court will accept this matter. If you have any questions again, you can choose to call the police."

Under the dean's comfort, the patient's family members temporarily stabilized their emotions.

In order to avoid the limelight, Zhou Zerong deliberately took Jiang Yuzhu to eat, but Jiang Yuzhu couldn't eat after all. He always felt that the image of the patient bleeding profusely appeared in front of his eyes, making everything he looked at a bit nauseating.

Zhou Zerong noticed something strange about Jiang Yuzhu, "Are you okay? Why don't you go home and take a rest?"

Jiang Yuzhu looked pale and shook his head, "It's okay, don't worry, it's probably just a little low blood sugar."

With that said, Jiang Yuzhu took two mouthfuls of rice and managed to finish the meal.

Seeing Jiang Yuzhu like this, Zhou Zerong felt very distressed, but Jiang Yuzhu had to figure it out on his own, and there was nothing he could do to comfort her.

Zhou Zerong sighed, just as Jiang Yuzhu looked up.

"You continue to eat, I'll go find the dean."

Jiang Yuzhu put away the bowls and chopsticks and turned to go to the dean's office.

After pausing in front of the door, Jiang Yuzhu knocked on the door.

"Come in."

The familiar voice of the dean came, and Jiang Yuzhu felt more guilt and sadness inexplicably.

Suddenly the corners of his eyes became wet. Jiang Yuzhu hurriedly suppressed his emotions and bit the corner of his mouth.

"I'm sorry, Dean, this accident is all my fault. I didn't take this unexpected situation into consideration."

Jiang Yuzhu felt very guilty and lowered his eyes. It was obvious that his mood had reached rock bottom.

Upon seeing this, the dean glanced at Jiang Yuzhu and said calmly, "If you don't handle this matter well in the future, you two should be punished."

After a pause, he raised his glasses and said, "Xiao Jiang, you are also a graduate of a prestigious university. You should know how to deal with such emergencies, right?"

She tried several methods to deal with it, but it didn't work. She just apologized to the troublemaker in a daze.

Does it make it clear that their hospital is unreasonable?
With his head lowered, Jiang Yuzhu didn't speak for a long time.

Looking at Jiang Yuzhu's appearance, the dean felt enlightened and could only helplessly shake his head.

"Dr. Jiang, you already knew some things when you were in our profession, didn't you?"

"We are doctors, not gods. We can only try our best. We cannot guarantee that we can save 100% of the patients. Some things are destined, so don't impose them on yourself. This will be very tiring."

Knowing that Jiang Yuzhu couldn't figure it out, the dean comforted him again.

"I think your current situation is really bad. How about you go home and rest for a few days? Dr. Jiang."

Hearing this, Jiang Yuzhu's originally lowered head suddenly lifted up and he shook his head hastily, "No, I will adjust myself. Thank you, Dean, for your concern."

"Ok."

How could she still have the heart to go back and rest at this time?

It was with this idea in mind that Jiang Yuzhu worked overtime again today, deliberately doubling his workload in order to numb himself.

Zhou Zerong wanted to persuade her, but Jiang Yuzhu was as stubborn as a donkey and refused to listen, so he had no choice but to let her go.

After work, Jiang Yuzhu felt a little dizzy, but he didn't pay much attention to it. He thought it must be caused by being too tired and in a bad mood.

"Why are you back so late today? Did you work overtime?"

When he finally heard the door open, Pei Jingchuan ran to the door anxiously and looked at Jiang Yuzhu with concern.

However, she was momentarily dazed by Pei Jingchuan's concern. Jiang Yuzhu forced a smile and said, "Yes, I'm working overtime." She was obviously weak, and Pei Jingchuan looked at her slightly pale face with some distress.

"Don't make yourself so tired. Sit on the sofa and take a rest first."

Pei Jingchuan just thought that Jiang Yuzhu was tired and helped her sit down on the sofa.

Jiang Yuzhu kept a straight face, looking a little absent-minded, and didn't speak. He just sat in silence for half an hour, not knowing what he was thinking.

"Did something happen?"

Jiang Yuzhu's state is really abnormal. If he can't see anything wrong with it, then he is stupid.

Exhaling unconsciously, Jiang Yuzhu didn't want Pei Jingchuan to worry, so he just said it was fine.

But Pei Jingchuan kept asking questions with concern, so Jiang Yuzhu told the doctor about the incident.

"It's obviously not your fault. You did a really good job."

Pei Jingchuan gently comforted and explained the essence of the matter, which made Jiang Yuzhu feel a little better inexplicably.

"So don't be so stressed and don't break your body. There are still many patients who need your treatment."

Pei Jingchuan looked at Jiang Yuzhu in front of him with his head lowered, looking very obedient, his eyes slightly lowered, looking very charming.

My heart was throbbing unconsciously, and I looked at the little one in front of me, and stretched out my hand as if possessed.

Before Jiang Yuzhu could react, he felt the warmth of Pei Jingchuan's palm, followed by a gentle and just right hug.

Jiang Yuzhu couldn't help but stiffen, his eyes suddenly widened, and his mind went blank.

However, Jiang Yuzhu did not resist, but was a little greedy for the temperature. The pleasant smell of sunshine came from the man's body, and he felt very warm.

His face was slightly red, Jiang Yuzhu said nothing, and Pei Jingchuan also realized that his behavior was a bit abrupt.

"Feel sorry."

Pei Jingchuan apologized for his subconscious abrupt behavior, but still did not let go, and patted Jiang Yuzhu on the back again.

Following Pei Jingchuan's movements, her heart slowly calmed down, and she fell asleep in Pei Jingchuan's arms before she knew it.

Just as Pei Jingchuan was about to end the hug, he felt that the weight in his arms suddenly became much heavier.

Looking down, Pei Jingchuan realized that Jiang Yuzhu had fallen asleep and fell into his arms.

"This little guy is quite trustworthy of me."

Unknowingly, Pei Jingchuan had a happy smile on his face, feeling happy for Jiang Yuzhu's trust.

Pei Jingchuan looked at Jiang Yuzhu's slightly red face and smiled even more, "It's so easy to be shy."

After sending Jiang Yuzhu to the bedroom and covering her with a quilt, Pei Jingchuan sent a message to Qin Chenkai, asking him to send someone to deal with the medical trouble in the hospital.

A good night's dream.

Pei Jingchuan got up early in the morning, thinking that since Jiang Yuzhu was not in good condition, he would prepare a nutritious breakfast for her to replenish her body.

So early in the morning, Pei Jingchuan started to prepare a nutritionally balanced breakfast.

"Why haven't you woke up yet?"

Pei Jingchuan looked down at his watch. It was already getting late and it was almost time to go to work.

Jiang Yuzhu is not a person who sleeps in, and even if he sleeps in, he won't sleep for so long.

With doubts, Pei Jingchuan went to Jiang Yuzhu's bedroom and knocked for a long time but no one answered.

Opening the door very anxiously, I saw Jiang Yuzhu lying on the bed, with a beautiful little face, and now there were two red circles on his cheeks.

The man's temples jumped, and he felt something bad in his heart. He reached out to touch Jiang Yuzhu's forehead.
