Rebirth of England.

Chapter 749 Electric Supercar

Chapter 749 Electric Supercar
It can be seen that Ms. Joe Harriman really wants to make progress...

That evening, Barron enjoyed the meticulous service provided by the future youngest female cabinet minister in Britain in her apartment.

"Your Highness, I have my own principles no matter what. I will not obey your orders. I will make the welfare of the people my top priority..."

Although her hands and feet were bound by Barron's tie and her own stockings, the lady was still not ready to surrender to the handsome and evil duke in front of her...

Joe Harriman held her head high, her delicate face solemn and holy, and she said this firmly.

"Really? Beautiful Minister, have you really never considered your current situation?"

Barron looked at Joe Harriman, whose suit was a little messy because of her struggle. He pulled out his belt, weighed the weight in his hand, and then looked at the curves of her suit that were stretched out very clearly...

There was a crisp "pop" sound, accompanied by Joe Harriman's suppressed cry.

At this moment, her face was red with pain, and she tried her best to smooth her breathing:
"I will not give in..."

"Then I look forward to your performance later, my dear cabinet minister."

……

"Your Highness, we have already prepared all the models for the exhibition, and have completed the layout of the exclusive area in the British Pavilion..."

What the British Automobile Group CEO Van der Houck told Barron in front of him was about their participation in the Shanghai World Expo to be held next month.

The 41st World Expo will be held in China's Magic City soon. This time, the Magic City World Expo will last for half a year from May 5st to October 1th.

Barron knew that this Shanghai World Expo would be the largest one ever, so he attached great importance to it.

Many of the companies he owns, including British Motor Group, United Energy Group, O2 Telecom and other heavyweight group companies, will participate in this Shanghai World Expo.

At this World Expo, brands under the British Motor Group will also launch some new models and concept cars.

In fact, the construction of the British Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo started last year. In February of this year, its dandelion seed-like appearance made its first appearance. It was very attractive, so it was also called the "Seed Temple".

Many well-known British companies, including the British Motor Group, will set up their own areas in the British Pavilion to showcase their products to the public.

The most eye-catching new model of the British Motor Group is probably its electric supercar called Concept One.

This concept electric supercar is designed using the electric vehicle technology developed by the British Motor Group in cooperation with Tesla, combined with Aston Martin's supercar concept.

Prior to this, the British Motor Group acquired a Romanian company called Rimac Automobili, which was established last year. Its founder was Matt Lomac, and the company name Rimac Automobili was named after him.

Matt Lomatz has been interested in electronic devices since he was a child. At the age of 17, he applied for and obtained his first patent - an electronic glove.

After making his first fortune, Matt bought a BMW M3 E30 because he loved cars. He started modifying it in his garage and raced with other players on the track. Since Matt's E30 always lost and the engine exploded during a race, he began to study how to modify his E30 using an electric motor.

After Matt turned his E30 into an electric car, he not only still lost the game, but was also laughed at by his opponents.

But Matt did not give up. Every time he failed, he returned to his garage to improve his car and even founded a company called Rimac Automobili.

Finally, earlier this year, facing 300 competitors, Matt's company Rimac Automobili finally won the championship with a modified electric car.

In Barron's previous life, in 2012, Matt's green E30 broke the Guinness record for electric cars with a time of 11.85 seconds. Later, they cooperated with many supercar brands including Porsche and Koenigsegg, providing them with relevant technologies for electric supercars. It is a company with relatively good technical strength.

But now, shortly after Rimac Automobili was founded, the British Motor Group has extended an olive branch to them and acquired the company.

And through their collaboration with Aston Martin, they completed the design of the first concept supercar and produced the first prototype, Concept One.

After that, they plan to mass-produce this car - which will also be a fully hand-built electric supercar.

It is estimated that each Concept One costs about 100 million US dollars. The car has 1224 horsepower, 1600 Nm of torque, a top speed of 355 km/h, and can travel about 350 km on a single charge.

It can accelerate from 2.5 to km/h in just seconds, making it the fastest electric supercar in the world at the moment!

This prototype car will also be airlifted to Shanghai to participate in the Shanghai World Expo.

Of course, Barron or the British Motor Group's ambitions are not just in electric supercars. They currently hope to verify and strengthen their related technologies on higher-end electric supercars.

European countries themselves are particularly concerned about environmental protection. Judging from Barron's previous life, outside of China, the European market is also the most receptive to electric vehicles.

Therefore, the British Motor Group naturally hopes to have a place in this market. In addition to China and America (mainly Tesla), the two main manufacturers of electric vehicles in the future, it is inevitable that the British car market will involve the civilian electric vehicle market.

Moreover, the British Motor Group itself is positioned to target the mid-to-high-end electric vehicle market.

As for the low-end electric vehicle market, for cost considerations, it would be better for China's "local" TRW and NAC to produce their own brand electric vehicles to join the competition.

For British Motor Group, whether it is future electric vehicles or current fuel vehicles, the biggest challenge in maintaining their manufacturing scale in the UK is the need for a relatively complete industrial chain.

Otherwise, even if they use various industrial robots on a large scale and improve the level of production automation, they can only maintain the manufacturing of relatively high-end brands in the local market. The mid- and low-end automobile products with the largest output can only be transferred to overseas countries with more complete industrial chains, such as China.

This is why some people wonder why there are so many electric car brands in China. It seems that the threshold for making electric cars is not high. But among the "powerful countries" in automobile manufacturing, including Japan, South Korea and Europe, why can't they beat China's electric cars and need to raise trade barriers to protect local brands...

One of the main reasons for this is that the relevant industrial chains have been lost in these countries, and it is very difficult to rebuild them.
