The Rise of the Ranch King

Chapter 4 4 Valley Town with Simple Folk Customs

Chapter 4 4. Valley Town with simple folk customs

The warm sunshine fills the entire grassland, and imagining the scene of cattle and sheep everywhere is simply wonderful.

While cleaning the warehouse, Lin Feng saw the large Indian retro motorcycle left by Uncle Frank.

The light green and cream white color scheme looks very tasteful, and the brown leather seats are a bit hard to sit on, but they are still within the comfort range.

He wanted to give the big motorcycle a cold bath. There were a few usable water pipes in the warehouse. He connected the faucets and sprayed the motorcycle.

The front windshield was wiped clean and it was extraordinarily translucent. The dust flowed into the gutter along with the water, and some of the metal parts of the motorcycle were shiny again.

Those rusty parts add to the heaviness.

Lin Feng couldn't hold back his excitement. He was in an open pastoral area. Without a car, he was like a person without legs.

There is a highway nearby that runs through Wyoming and Montana, all the way west to the famous Yellowstone Park. After settling in, Lin Feng plans to take a long trip, provided that he successfully obtains his driver's license.

After rinsing, before I had time to dry myself, I heard a commotion outside.

The first reaction was that the Ron brothers were here again, but this time they seemed to have brought someone else along with them.

Coming out of the storage room, I saw two cars running around on the grass, and the guy in the back was throwing garbage out.

He saw Ron and Clark riding a motorcycle behind them. They were smiling and whistling at their companions who were driving!

Damn, it depends on the crowd.

You son of a bitch, you must give him a good look today.

Lin Feng stood up and prepared to go back to the cabin, because the gun and guillotine were there.

"Hey Chinaman, you didn't seem to understand me yesterday and left my house."

Ron blocked his way, two cars not far away stopped, and soon seven or eight people got out.

Lin Feng glanced at them and saw that they were dressed in a similar style to the Ron brothers. It seemed that these guys were gangsters from the same gang.

Ron pushed him, "I'm asking you a question!"

Soon, the gangsters from behind gathered around.

Lin Feng didn't want to get too entangled and walked straight back to the cabin.

"Smash it inside!"

"This is my house!"

Ron thought he was scared and wanted to run away, so he called on his companions to break into the house.

Turns out a shotgun stuck out.

Lin Feng said coldly: "I said, this is my ranch."

"Whoever takes one step closer will have his head blooming, and he will do what he says."

Although according to U.S. law, shooting someone who breaks into a house privately is considered self-defense, but after all, he has never experienced such a thing, and it is hard to say whether he will have the courage to shoot.

Clark, being a madman, came up and put the muzzle of the shotgun against his chest while making a joking expression.

The gangsters behind were stunned. They knew Clark was an impulsive person, but now they were facing a Mossberg 500 that could blow a big hole in him.

Ron looked at the two of them nervously, but Clark had already entered a state of madness, and the guy seemed to be on drugs.

He is a ruthless person, and Lin Feng did not expect it, but now there seems to be no way out. He must give these gangsters some color and solve the problem at once.

Load the bullet and unlock the bolt.

Just pull the trigger and Clark will turn into a pile of rotten meat in front of you!

Faced with Clark's constant provocation, Lin Feng's palms became sweaty.

When loading bullets, he dropped them on the floor due to nervousness, which made the gangsters on the opposite side laugh like crazy.

In the end, he still didn't have the courage to kill, even if he was injured. Maybe one day in the future he would get used to shooting at people who invaded his territory, but not now.

He raised the gun tip to the sky, followed by two dull gunshots.

Ron smiled. Knowing that these gangsters had experienced many gun battles on the streets, he began to make sure that Lin Feng would not point his gun at them.

The gangsters behind started to get closer, including a black girl.

His skin was originally dark and he was wearing black clothes. Just now he thought it was an iron rod standing there.

It has to be said that they have stocked up on a lot of words that discriminate against Asians, many of which even Lin Feng has never heard of. Judging from their expressions, they are probably not good words.

"If you don't want to shoot me, get out of my house."

"Riverdale is no place for weaklings and weaklings."

Lin Feng held the handle of Mossberg's gun with one hand and said coldly: "Yes, I really don't dare."

After saying that, he walked towards the two cars not far away.

The gangsters were stunned again, not knowing what he was going to do.

One guy felt something was wrong and yelled, "Get away from my car!"

When he was ten meters away, Lin Feng pointed the black muzzle at the windshield of the old Chevrolet.

Almost synchronized with the explosion of bullets, a black man behind screamed!

It seems the car belongs to him.

Never doubt the Mossberg 500's close combat capabilities, it can blast a big hole in the glass!

Debris covered the main and co-pilots!

"Fake, what have you done? Are you stupid?" Clark shouted.

Lin Feng continued to walk towards the other car.

Another shot!

This time the distance was even closer, and the entire glass was blown to pieces!

Lin Feng felt a few bloody cuts on his face, which made him even more excited.

Panting heavily, the hand holding the gun continued to tremble.

He tried to calm himself, "Get out of my territory right now."

"Fak Fak!"

"This is a borrowed car!"

"You have to pay for my car!"

The gangsters were there yelling.

Lin Feng loaded the bullet and loaded the gun.

Another shot was fired at the reflector of a car. This time he was unlucky and missed. Fortunately, he punched a hole in the rear door. Fortunately, it didn’t hit the fuel tank.

The gangster was about to cry, and he turned to look at Ron.

"Is this the soft persimmon you are talking about? Why do I think he is a lunatic!"

“My car is going to be totaled!”

Lin Feng continued to aim his gun, when a black man jumped out.

"Calm down, calm down."

"Damn, okay you win, this isn't my fight, I'm driving away now."

The black man ignored Ron's dissuasion and ignored the glass shards under his buttocks, and slipped away while slamming the accelerator.

The remaining gangsters stared at each other. Clark suddenly took out his pistol and shouted that he wanted to kill Lin Feng!

I didn’t expect this guy to have a gun, it was unexpected.

With no way out, he also raised the muzzle of the Mossberg 500 and walked step by step to the distance where he could blow Clark's head into pieces.

Ron kept cursing, but just stood there.

stalemate.

Just then, a car horn sounded outside the ranch.

Lin Feng thought it was the gangsters just now, but four pickup trucks and two motorcycles drove in.

Wearing a cowboy hat, he must be a local herdsman judging from his attire.

Arriving at the cabin soon, Lin Feng didn't know who they were, but Brother Ron was very nervous.

Walking in the middle of the group was an old cowboy with gray hair. He looked to be in his sixties but very energetic. His eyes seemed to penetrate people's hearts.

"Ron, Clark, Giannis, Ivo, Vitali..."

The old cowboy pointed at the gangsters and read out their names one by one with a strong voice.

He didn't seem to think of it when he pointed to the girl.

The girl took a step forward humbly, "Stephanie, Mr. Otto."

It turns out that the old cowboy is Mr. Otto, and I have heard of his reputation before.

John Otto, the Otto family behind him owns the largest ranch in Riverdale Town and has a considerable say in the entire town.

He pointed here again, "If I guessed correctly, you are Lin Feng."

"Yes sir, I..."

Without waiting for an explanation, John Otto raised his finger to signal to stop.

He walked towards Ron, his eyes became sharp, "There is no room for this question. Your uncle is also my friend. Frank made his choice."

"Frank and I have known each other since we were teenagers, and I know exactly what kind of person he is. Steady and humorless, serious but meticulous."

"There must be a reason why he chose a foreigner to inherit the ranch. In other words, I don't know what this young Chinese man is like, but I know your moral character, Ron."

Ron was like a deflated rubber ball, but he still wanted to struggle.

"Sir, but he is just a stranger."

"Are you from Riverdale Town?"

As he spoke, John Otto pulled off his shirt, revealing a tattoo, or rather a hot stamping.

Lin Feng squinted and saw clearly that it was a weather vane pattern. He had seen it on Frank before. It was the symbol of the residents of River Valley Town. They used it to judge whether it was one of their own.

John Otto went up and patted Ron on the shoulder, "There will be a livestock auction in town later and I don't want to miss it, so you'd better take your people and leave quickly."

He looked back and saw the cowboys behind him setting up their guns.

Remington M700, AR-15, Garand, Winchester M94, Teevens 301 and more.

This scene was absolutely exciting. Lin Feng felt the impact of the Western Cowboy at this moment.

The gangsters who followed Ron to cause trouble were already frightened, and a circle of people stood still and did not dare to move.

Ron's previous arrogance was completely destroyed, and he drove away in despair.

It's just that this guy gave Lin Feng a malicious look before leaving, and he didn't know if it meant he would come back again.

However, what awaits them then is not a pile of broken glass, but holes in their bodies.

At this time, Lin Feng quickly stepped forward to thank you, "Thank you, sir."

Otto showed a smile, "To be honest, it is not the tradition of Riverdale Town to let a stranger control the land."

"Remember young man, it's not you I trust but my old friend Tom Frank."

Lin Feng nodded. He realized that Western World was a completely different life from big cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, at least in Riverdale Town.

"You now have two choices, become a true Riverdale native, or still live as a foreigner. The latter will undoubtedly bring you trouble, not just as simple as Brother Ron."

Lin Feng vaguely felt that it was the brand, so he nodded and said that he chose the former.

Otto nodded with satisfaction, "Casdy! It's your turn."

Then a young man rode a motorcycle and took out a set of tools from the box, including a "weather vane" soldering iron.

The hot soldering iron shines red, and its heat can be felt from half a meter away.

Lin Feng took off his shirt to expose his heart.

Cassidy smiled and said, "Don't scream like a man."

Then there was a heartbreaking pain that made Lin Feng almost shout out, but he still got through it.

He even bit his lip to prevent the cowboys from laughing.

Cassidy took out another box of ointment from the box and threw it to him, pulled Lin Feng up and patted him on the shoulder.

John Otto looked up at the ranch cabin in front of him, his eyes full of nostalgia, and his friendship with Tom Frank could be seen.

"Welcome to Riverdale, young man."
