After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to post a single chapter to summarize and thank you for the first year of my first book.

On the evening of November 11th, I was looking for a novel to read. I didn’t know which book’s comment section I saw in the comment section of a book, and I saw a message from a book friend. The time was September 4th, and he said that he was going to write a book.

I thought it was a joke, so I clicked on his profile picture and saw that I actually started writing it. I persisted for two months and have already written more than 300,000 words.

At that moment, I felt like I had been hit. I don’t know when I started to have serious procrastination. I had no impulse to do something I made up my mind to do the next day. I always thought about doing it tomorrow. Have time.

For example, when it comes to losing weight, people say it’s too hot in summer and too cold in winter. There are always countless excuses, and it always feels like there are countless tomorrows.

In fact, the idea of ​​writing a book came up in January 2023. At that time, I had downloaded Qidian Assistant and established an account. It can be said that this was the closest I came to writing a book, but I was unable to start writing.

What this book friend did made me enlightened. I instantly understood that if I think about it, I should do it. No matter the result, at least you are already taking action.

Since I started writing on November 11th, I have been writing with passion and never thought about signing a contract.

On November 11th, the day of my 10th birthday (I didn’t expect the author to be a middle-aged uncle, right?), I received the message and officially signed a contract to become a member of Qidian.

I am very grateful to the editor Qing Hu for picking me out among the many new books. I was very excited that day, at least someone recognized what I wrote.

After that, I followed the advice in the author group and kept updating more than 4,000 words every day. I kept thinking about my book every day. Slowly, I found that my life was very fulfilling, although I was a little tired from sitting for a long time.

I am very grateful to Qianjinzi. This reader was the first to give me a reward. Although I have not seen him reading this book now, his actions undoubtedly gave me great encouragement.

Slowly, the number of readers of this book increased from a few per day to dozens to hundreds. The maximum number of readers per day was 706, which made me extremely happy.

Because it was my first time to write a book, I didn’t understand Qidian’s recommendation process at all, and the beginning of the book was not well written. As a result, after the first and second rounds of recommendations, the expected results were not achieved, and Qidian no longer recommended it.

Huda asked me to put it on the shelves directly. At this time, it was only 25 days before the book was released, and the number of free chapters was less than 14 words.

Many seniors in the author group advised me to apply to the editor and wait, otherwise no one would read it.

But as a newbie, I don’t understand what this means at all, not to mention I can’t say it.

Seeing that the number of collections is 4000+, I think I can give it a try. Even if the results are not good, it is finally a start.

It was released on December 12st. Due to my update time and the fact that it was my first time writing a book, I had no idea how to operate the VIP chapters, so I directly posted two chapters for free.

I didn't know how to do it until I asked other people in the group. Someone suggested that I delete those two chapters and log in to VIP again. But it has been more than ten hours since I posted it, so why am I embarrassed? So in order to maintain perfect attendance, I stepped up my coding and hurriedly posted two more chapters at night.

Since then, more than 6000 words have been updated almost every day. Throughout December, the cumulative number of updated words has been nearly 12.

Here, I am very grateful to the book friends who have been with me. From the initial 4000+ collections to the current 1+ collections; from the 328 subscriptions on the first day of the launch to 995 today, it is almost a critical number. For me who have just written a book, this is already a great inspiration. I sincerely thank every book friend who supports me.

Having said a lot of summary and thanks above, let’s talk about updates and content.

I am a complete newcomer, I will never lie, I don’t even know Wubi, and my coding speed is limited. Careful book friends may find that I have some typos, which are caused by pinyin.

There were a few days last month where I updated more than 11 words, which was already my limit. During those days, I coded for an average of hours a day.

So I can only promise to update 6000-8000 words every day, and I ask for your forgiveness. Of course, if I have some free time or am overwhelmed with inspiration, I will try my best to burst out.

In addition, if there is an incentive from monthly tickets or rewards, I will push myself as much as possible. To this end, I have formulated a rule for adding updates, and I hope everyone will supervise it.

1. Reward 5000, plus one update.

2. Every time the order is increased by 100, one update will be added.

3. If any character on the character card is upgraded to a level, one update will be added.

For additional chapters, the word count should be no less than 2000 words.

What kind of other leaders are there? I don’t dare to think about it, but if one appears, I promise to add 10 updates.

Regarding the content, I see that many readers have mentioned the timeline of the work. I can guarantee that no matter what the work is, you will definitely check the information. It is impossible that someone has already filmed it, or written it, or sung it. The work was used by the protagonist.

However, some information is really difficult to find (for example, the ratings are really confusing). If there are any errors or omissions, please point them out and they will definitely be corrected.

Including some places where readers complained before, modifications have been made without affecting the main plot.

Therefore, I want to say that I am very serious about this book, and I carefully read every comment and message you make.
