Chapter 12 A critical moment

On Bai Tianqing's other wrist, there were purple fingerprints caught by Grandma Li. The whole hand looked quite scary.

But this was not the time to pay attention to this matter. She looked up and saw that the bird had indeed flown out.

Not knowing how long she could fly, she held the handle of the kerosene lamp between her teeth and quickly climbed up the tree.

Thankfully, she still looks like a child and can climb trees without a problem.

She just didn't know if it was an illusion, but she always felt that this willow tree was a bit strange, but she couldn't put it in words.

Mainly, she didn't have time to feel it, and her eyes quickly looked for traces of the bird's nest.

There is a group of wickers in front of you. It's quite big. Is that the bird's nest?

Bai Tianqing then got closer and confirmed that it was indeed a bird's nest. It was oval, like an egg, with an opening at the top.

She tried her best to steady her body and took a look inside first.

It was so dark inside that you couldn't see at all.

"Woah woah -"

There was a strange cry not far away. Bai Tianqing was startled and looked carefully. It seemed to be coming from a bird circling not far away.

Much like a baby crying.

It was hovering not high above the ground, where Bai Tianqing threw the mud. The strange bird seemed to be sizing it up, and even made a dive.

Bai Tianqing knew that he didn't have much time, so he simply reached into the nest.

There was a soft mass in the nest, which felt like skin texture.

She was smart enough not to think too much and continued searching in silence.

Suddenly, she felt a cold, smooth touch, spherical, and felt like... an eyeball.

But she did have a gut feeling that this was what she was looking for.

Bai Tianqing made a quick decision, took the eyeball, jumped out of the tree, and started running back.

Oddly enough, when I went back, I didn’t feel like I was being held back when I ran.

"Woah woah -"

The strange bird behind him let out a more mournful cry. It obviously discovered that his home had been stolen, and quickly targeted Bai Baiqing.

Not only it, but also the figures around it gradually became clearer.

It's like some kind of boundary has been broken.

The figures began to move towards her.

In front of Bai Qing's eyes, the embroidered shoes appeared again. Unlike before, which only had a skirt, this time, Bai Qing could clearly see a woman in red standing there.

She didn't have time to think about it, and she had already rushed over. She used the speed of going to the school cafeteria to cook, but this time she did not pass through the woman, but the woman turned sideways.

Bai Tianqing saw that the lamp in his hand suddenly became dimmer, leaving only the bottom.

More figures were approaching.

But the most important thing is the strange bird behind him.

Bai Tianqing felt a gust of cold wind behind him and rolled forward subconsciously.

Something brushed against the top of my head.

She didn't even bother to look, and continued to move forward while rolling and crawling.

The wooden door is close at hand.

The strange bird once again made a shrill baby cry and attacked Bai Tianqing.

This time from the front.

During the day, Qing was already rushing forward, but she could only hide to the side when the sharp bird's claws directly scratched her neck.

Warm blood splashed out, and the slowly moving figures around them became clear again. Each of them had a pale, dead face, and their faces were numb, but they seemed to be slowly recovering again because of the blood.

Bai Tianqing continued to move forward precariously, and the strange bird dived from behind again.

The wooden door is close at hand. As the cold wind howled behind me, the wooden door opened.

Bai Tianqing then burst out with a sudden burst of strength, pounced forward, and dodged the claws of the strange bird behind him. He slid straight from the ground into the door, hit his head hard on the steps, and his vision went black.

Grandma Li quickly closed the door, picked up Bai Tianqing and tucked it under her arm before going upstairs. She didn't look like an elderly person at all.

The wooden door behind him was being banged, as if something was hitting it, and the wooden door was making an overwhelming sound.

Soon, when they went up to the attic, Grandma Li didn't know what she had done. The door in the attic that led directly to the outside slowly disappeared.

It's like it never existed.

Bai Tianqing didn't pay much attention. The warm blood on the top of her head flowed all over her face. Her head was buzzing and hurt, and her body was also hurting and cold everywhere.

Grandma Li held her between her arms, opened the coffin in the room, and put her in.

Bai Tianqing subconsciously wanted to struggle.

But Grandma Li held her down tightly.

"If you don't want to die, just listen to me. Lie here. When you open your eyes, you will see another me. Take the things you got from the outside and throw them on that me. Do you understand? If you want to live, you can still You want my ability!"

Bai Tianqing stopped struggling. In fact, she had no strength left.

The coffin was slowly closed.

The moment darkness hit, Bai Tianqing felt like the world was spinning.

The weightlessness and dizziness didn't last long, and soon the surroundings became dead silent.

Her head still hurt, she felt dizzy and achy, and the wound on her neck seemed to be bleeding. She opened her eyes with difficulty, and met the eyes of an old lady with red light flashing and the corners of her mouth raised, revealing sharp teeth.

The old lady was holding her head, her teeth were getting sharper, and she was about to bite her.

Bai Tianqing was startled, and instinctively raised her hand, pressing the thing in her hand to her face.

The old lady let out a scream, and the sound was so penetrating that Tian Qing's already painful head started to buzz even more, and her ears also hurt.

But her survival instinct made her hold on to the old lady's hair with one hand, and the other hand holding the unknown object pressed hard on the old lady's face, until the old lady fell directly from the place she was holding. The cheek began to catch fire, and the red flame made Bai Tianqing finally let go of his hand, and rolled and crawled to the side.

As soon as I got to the side, before I could see the old lady clearly, I was faced with a blue-black zombie face.

Bai Tianqing: "..."

She subconsciously raised her hand and pressed it.

However, the zombie didn't react at all, and Bai Qing could even see a hint of confusion in his eyes.

Bai Tianqing then took back his hand as if nothing had happened.

The old lady over there was completely enveloped in red flames.

Slowly, her body melted into a piece of skin, as if something inside her body had been burned away.

Bai Tianqing looked at this scene, and for some reason, he suddenly thought of the kerosene lamp.

In other words, it's the kerosene in the kerosene lamp.

Just when Bai Tianqing was thinking about what to do now, Father Li next to him moved.

Bai Tianqing looked carefully and saw that the black and blue color on Father Li's body was fading away, gradually turning into a normal human appearance.

Of course, his face is quite pale, but it is much more normal than the previous zombie state.

Next came Grandma Li's skin on the ground, first held up by her hands, then her upper body, and then her lower body, like an inflated ball.

Bai Tianqing had moved carefully and picked up his two knives. Even now, his hands were shaking and he had no strength.

She had to guard against it.

"Grandma! Dad!" The voice came from the door.

Li Xiaoyue looked surprised.

She looked at Bai Tianqing and said, "Dear warrior, thank you for finding my real father and grandma for me! What reward do you want?"

Bai Tianqing was startled, always feeling something was strange.
