Chapter 22 Copybook
The noble prince came down from the second floor. He was wearing a royal blue brocade robe with cloud patterns and a jade crown on his head. He had an extraordinary temperament and a graceful demeanor.

Zhao Shuqing's call "young master" attracted his attention, but when he looked at Zhao Shuqing, his eyes were full of strangeness, and he didn't recognize who she was.

The noble prince turned his eyes and saw Zhao Wangshu standing by the bookshelf, holding a book. The corners of his lips raised slightly. He looked at Zhao Shuqing again and nodded slightly, "Miss Zhao."

Zhao Shuqing asked softly: "Is the young master also here to buy books?"

"I bought a few collections of poems. What books did the girl buy?" Your Majesty asked with a smile.

"I'm here to buy copybooks. I want to practice calligraphy." Zhao Shuqing smiled shyly and lowered his head, looking very docile.

"I won't interrupt the girl to choose the copybook." The noble master raised his legs to leave.

"Sir, please wait a moment." Zhao Shuqing finally met him again, and ignored the girl's restraint and asked to stay.

"What else can you do, miss?" Your Majesty asked gently.

"Young Master is a scholar. I'm new to calligraphy and I don't know which font to practice well, so I just want to ask Young Master to give me an idea." Zhao Shuqing's reason for retaining people is very reasonable.

The noble prince pondered for a moment and said: "Hairpin small regular script, fly head small regular script and plum blossom seal script are all suitable for women to write."

"Thank you for informing me, sir." Zhao Shuqing saluted solemnly and thanked him.

"Girl, you don't have to be polite." Your Excellency smiled, "Girl, is there anything else you want?"

"It's okay." Zhao Shuqing wanted to say a few more words to the noble master, but she couldn't find a suitable topic to talk to the noble master and could only watch him leave.

"The person has gone far, don't look anymore." Zhao Jiahua walked up to Zhao Shuqing, who was looking at the door crazily, and gave her a gentle push, "Who is he?"

"My savior." Zhao Shuqing said with a tender smile.

"When did it happen? How did he save you?" Zhao Jiahua asked curiously.

Zhao Shuqing smiled and said nothing, walked to the bookshelf where the copybooks were placed, and picked out the copybooks in the three fonts that the noble master mentioned.

"Tell me about it." Zhao Jiahua followed behind her and asked.

Zhao Shuqing was shy and coquettish, but refused to say it clearly, as if she really had something to do with that noble young master. This made Zhao Wangshu, who knew about it, shake his head in amusement.

Zhao Wangshu did not expose her. He took the selected storybook and went to the clerk to buy paper, "Take a knife of mulberry tissue paper."

"Girl, a new batch of plum pattern jade button paper has arrived in the store. Would you like to take some with you?" the clerk said.

"It's a waste of money to practice calligraphy with jade paper. Mulberry tissue paper is good." Zhao Wangshu is not short of money, but there is no need to be so extravagant. "How much does it cost together?"

"It's a total of sixty-six cents. The girl can just give her sixty-five cents." The clerk tied up the script and paper, handed it to Hong Chang, and took the copper plate from her hand.

"I've bought it, where are you two?" Zhao Wangshu turned around and asked.

Zhao Jiahua picked up a few story books and walked over, "I've picked them too."

She also bought a knife of mulberry tissue paper. Zhao Shuqing did not buy a storybook. In addition to copybooks, she also bought two poetry collections, both of which were recently compiled and printed by talented people of this dynasty.

"Give me a knife of mulberry tissue paper, too." The copybook Zhao Shuqing bought was more expensive, and she didn't have enough money to bring with her. She hesitated for a moment, "I'll buy these two collections of poems when I get back next time."

When Zhao Wangshu saw this, he said: "You don't have to wait to buy it next time. I'll pay you in advance. You can pay me back when you get back."

"Really?" Zhao Shuqing is a sensitive person. She noticed that Zhao Wangshu had become much colder to her since the Winter Solstice Festival. She did not expect that Zhao Wangshu would still be willing to lend her money.

"Of course." Zhao Wangshu took out the coins and paid the bill for her.

After coming out of the bookstore, Zhao Jiahua said: "I'm hungry, where are you?"

"Let's find a restaurant for lunch." Zhao Wangshu was also hungry.

"There is a restaurant in front, let's go there to eat." Zhao Shuqing saw the sign of Sanyuan Building. “The food at Sanyuanlou is very expensive and I can’t afford it,” Zhao Jiahua quickly informed.

"A large restaurant with five rooms and three floors will lose money if the vegetables are sold cheaply," Zhao Wangshu said jokingly.

"Let's go to a small restaurant. I know there is a small restaurant with delicious dishes." Zhao Jiahua took them through the streets and alleys to a small restaurant called Fan Ji.

As soon as you enter the alley, you can smell the strong aroma of meat.

"It's the smell of braised pork." Zhao Wangshu smelled it accurately.

"Fan Ji's braised pork tastes great. You can try it later." Zhao Jiahua said with a smile.

"We must try what you recommend." Zhao Wangshu said with a smile.

Fan Ji's store is not big. It is located deep in the alley. It only deals with neighborhood business. There are no private rooms. It only serves dine-in. There are seven Eight Immortals tables in the fairly spacious hall.

"We're not familiar with each other, you order." Zhao Wangshu said.

"Okay, I want a portion of stir-fried vegetables, braised pork, glutinous rice ribs, minced meat fungus, pickled fish, and three bowls of rice. Okay, that's all for now." Zhao Jiahua, who is familiar with the dishes, ordered.

The braised pork was served first. It was bright in color. When you take a bite, it was tender, soft, and juicy. It was so delicious that your tongue almost swallowed it.

A few people were having a big meal, and a duck voice came from outside the door, "We're here, right here."

Fan Ji had another guest. The wind-proof door curtain was opened, and what came in was a young man wearing a bright red brocade robe embroidered with mountains and rivers. He looked a little childish but had a burly figure.

"Brother Wanjun, Brother Yueting, come in quickly." The young man shouted towards the door, eagerly urging his companions.

Then, Zhao Wangshu saw Yao Zhen and the noble young man he had just met in the bookstore.

We already know from Yao Shanzhi that Yueting is the name of Yao Zhen, and this Wanjun must be the name of that noble young master.

The two stood at the door and glanced at Zhao Wangshu and the others.

When your young master saw Yao Zhen smiling and nodding at them, and Zhao Wangshu returning the polite smile and nodding, he asked, "Do you know each other?"

"Friends of Gardenia." Yao Zhen paused, "People of Empress Zhao."

The noble master's brows moved slightly, "It's quite possible to prepare for a rainy day."

"If you want to secure that position, you can't do it without some tricks. After all, she is not the only childless concubine." The young man in brocade said bluntly.

"Xiao Zhi, be careful what you say." Yao Zhen said in a deep voice.

"Stop talking, boss, come over and order. I want to eat your braised pork elbow." The boy in brocade clothes said with a smile.

Fan Ji's business was good, but the speed of serving food was not slow. Not long after, all the dishes they ordered were served. Just as they were feasting, Zhao Wangshu and the others finished the meal and paid the bill to leave.

When they passed by a table, one of the guests at that table suddenly fell down. His eyes were wide open, foaming at the mouth, and his limbs were twitching continuously.

Zhao Shuqing was so frightened that she screamed, "Ah! Ah! Ah!"

She panicked and backed away, causing Zhao Jiahua pain, which made her also cry out, "Ouch!"

"Eating dead people! The food is poisonous." The man at the same table as the fallen guest shouted loudly.

The store suddenly became chaotic. Some people ran towards the door, hoping to take advantage of the opportunity to escape the order. Yao Zhen ordered in time: "Wu Jue, guard the door and don't let anyone out."

The noble master also said: "There is an accident in the store. No one is allowed to leave before the official arrives. Otherwise, they will be regarded as murderers."

As soon as these words came out, no one in the store dared to move.
