Chapter 42: Give her a mouthful of dog food

An Haitang agreed in confusion and turned around again, but was still in his bed.

Wen Wu said displeasedly: "An Haitang, you don't have to be so reserved, right?"

An Haitang woke up. She poked her head out from under the quilt. It was pitch black outside. It was so late at night. Was Wen Wu talking in his sleep?
She was curious about what he would say, and maybe he could reveal a little bit of his thoughts, but after waiting for a long time, he made no move.

She shrank into bed, realized that she had come to him, and hurried back to her own bed. But his quilt was like a hole in the ice, not comfortable next to him at all.

She was too cold to sleep, so she moved quietly towards him, wanting to return to him.

"What are you doing?" He suddenly said.

An Haitang was startled, stuck his head out and said, "What are you yelling about! You scared the kids out of their wits!"

Wenwu: "..."

An Haitang said aggrievedly: "It's so cold!"

Wen Wu: "It's so cold that you just stay close to me. Who told you to be pretentious?"

An Haitang hummed, got into his bed, hugged his legs, her cold cheek still pressed against his, and put her two feet into his armpits to keep warm.

"Don't touch me, pregnant woman, do you understand?"

"Who touched you? Who wanted to touch you? You're just being sentimental!" Wen Wu's words were hard, and his whole body was hard.

An Haitang smiled, it was so warm and comfortable next to him. Her body felt sleepy, and she fell asleep comfortably after a while.

This woman was holding him like a pendant. Wenwu was depressed and enjoying herself at the same time. It was very contradictory.

She is a pregnant woman and does not think wildly.

He used the determination he had during military training to calm himself down...

Before dawn, Li Xiumei had already gotten up and cooked two bowls of poached egg noodles, and then quietly came to knock on the door.

Wenwu woke up first and quickly got up and dressed. An Haitang opened his eyes in confusion and yawned.

"Is it cold? Put on the cotton-padded clothes." Wenwu helped her bring the cotton-padded clothes over and gave her his scarf, "Wear the scarf."

An Haitang put on the cotton coat and trousers, feeling like a clumsy penguin. The winter of the 1980s was much colder than now.

"Is there no snow?" She opened the window a little, and a cold wind rushed in, making her hide behind Wen Wu.

Wenwu looked outside, closed the window, and looked back at her, hiding behind him as cute as a kitten. He liked it in his heart, but his face was colder than the snow outside.

It was raining, sleeting, and not freezing outside, so the car went out no problem.

After eating the noodles, An Haitang felt a little warmer. She put on the galoshes Li Xiumei had prepared for her and opened the door of the kitchen room. The cold wind blew against her face, blowing her back and hiding behind Wen Wu.

"Ouch, why is it so cold? When we leave the village, the road to the pond will be even colder!" Li Xiumei looked outside.

Wenwu put the military coat on An Haitang. The coat was too long and almost dragged the floor. An Haitang held the coat by the sides, worried that the mud and water would stain the clothes.

"Let me carry you out. It's a slippery slope here, and it's hard to walk if your clothes are too long." Wen Wu said, squatting down.

An Haitang happily lay on his back. Wen Wu easily carried her up. Li Xiumei took out an umbrella and let An Haitang hold it. Next door, Shen Laopo was cursing An Xiaocha. He didn't get up to cook pig food at dawn, and the pots, dishes and bowls in the house were smashed loudly.

An Xiaocha got up helplessly, shivering and put on her clothes. When she opened the door, she saw Wen Wu carrying An Haitang out. The two were so intimate that she slammed the door shut in anger.

While the pig food was cooking, my mother quietly came in through the back door carrying a thermos bucket. Her feet were covered in mud, and it looked like she had taken a shortcut from the vegetable garden.

"Mom, you got up so early." An Xiaocha asked weakly.

"I made chicken soup last night and brought it to you. Eat it quickly."

"Thank you, Mom." An Xiaocha's nose felt sore. Fortunately, when she originally designed this damn world, she didn't design her mother to be a bad person for her.

Her mother helped her add firewood to the stove, while she held the thermos bucket and wolfed down the chicken legs.

"Xiaocha, Mom thought about you all night last night. You still have to find Yongjun. Wenwu has changed his mind now and is unreliable."

An Xiaocha was about to cry but had no tears. In the script, of course, she was all kinds of inspirational, outsmarting the mistress, and later fell in love with Shen Yongjun. But if she had one child with him and four babies, wouldn't that cost her her life?
"You learn from An Haitang. If you know how to coax, which man can withstand it? Look at Wen Wu, now An Haitang has coaxed her into being obedient!"

An Xiaocha sighed and said, "Let's wait until he comes back during the New Year. It's too cold to go find him now."

Wenwu carried An Haitang across the bridge and asked her to wait under the eaves of Butcher Ding's house while he drove the car over.

Aunt Ding stuck her head out to see and waved to An Haitang: "Haitang, you are going to the city, help me bring something to Youcai!"

"Yeah." An Haitang responded to her.

Aunt Ding came out with a large bag of things and looked at An Haitang with envy: "Haitang, you and Wen Wu are really in love now. I wronged Wen Wu. I will go to every house today to clarify Wen Wu."

An Haitang said depressedly: "Aunt Ding, you just like to talk nonsense. You need to change it in the future."

"Okay, okay, I'll change it!" Aunt Ding agreed quickly.

Before the car came over, Aunt Ding stood with An Haitang, her mouth could not stop talking: "Civil and martial arts are really good. They can make money in one day that we farmers can't make in a year."

An Haitang replied calmly: "How can there be so many? Aunt Ding, you are exaggerating. You can support a large family."

"Why are you hiding it from me? I'm not borrowing money from you," Aunt Ding said, approaching An Haitang mysteriously, "Haitang, I heard that men who run long distances are a lot of playboys, and all the women outside are... Goblins like to seduce rich drivers. Your family is both civilized and handsome. Check him out if you have nothing to do. There may be hair, lipstick, perfume, etc. stuck to his clothes, so be careful."

An Haitang lowered his face and stared at Aunt Ding. This gossip is really hopeless. If she doesn't stir up trouble, her life may not be fun.

Aunt Ding looked like she was doing good for An Haitang: "That's what people say outside. I'm kindly reminding you that if you are pregnant now, the man will look for you outside if you are not satisfied. I advise you not to take the test. It's better to follow him out." Che, guarding his cash cow is worse than anything else."

An Haitang smiled. Aunt Ding's purpose was too obvious. She persuaded her to quit. Their family had lost a strong rival.

"Aunt Ding, if you try to persuade me to quit, even if you have money, you can't pass Jian Jun's exam, so don't bother."

"Ahem, look what you said, did I mean that?" Aunt Ding rolled her eyes at her.

Butcher Ding was chopping meat, and his new wife from Zhangjiawan in the village came to buy meat. She was slim and plump, and his evil eyes looked directly at the bulging chest.

Aunt Ding suddenly turned around and saw her husband's expression. She was so angry that she grabbed a meat bone and hit him on the head.
