Chapter 1118 Tongtian River

Their purpose this time was to urge Tang Sanzang to leave as soon as possible, and to monitor the entire Wuji Kingdom to prevent it from being used by people with malicious intentions. The news would spread and affect people in other countries, which would be detrimental to Buddhism.

The two Arhats who subdued the dragon and subdued the tiger were proficient in the Buddhist magical powers of the roar of the wrathful lion and the roar of the Buddha. They roared loudly in the sky, like a great bell, resounding throughout the entire Guanyi.

"Tang Sanzang, do you know your sin?"

Tang Sanzang was so frightened by the sound that he peed. He was so frightened that he quickly looked through the window and saw two Arhats standing above, looking at him with sullen expressions.

Tang Sanzang Yuqiu said dissatisfiedly, "The two Arhats came here not knowing what important matters they have."

It's really too much. Two Buddhas came last time, and two Arhats came this time. These Buddhist guys are so full that they can't stop for a moment.

If it suddenly becomes great, who is responsible for this?
Subduing the Dragon and Subduing the Tiger was a straight man, so naturally he couldn't understand Tang Sanzang's mood and looked at him with contempt... This monk is so shameless. Look at how fat you have become. You are like a pig. You are here all day long. It’s not too shameful to serve cabbage here. And even now, he still doesn’t know what his crime was and refuses to admit his mistakes. This is really just to discredit Buddhism.

How could Buddha accept this thing as his disciple?
The Arhat Who Subdued the Dragon said coldly, "The matter in the Wuji Kingdom is over, so you'd better head west quickly! Otherwise, don't blame me for being ruthless!"

Tang Sanzang was instantly frightened and kept his grievances in his stomach, "Two Arhats, please don't get angry, the poor monk is on his way now!"

These two guys are a bit too irritable and look scarier than Guanyin. Really, why should the monk be embarrassing the monk?

The team of pilgrims set off on their journey. The black-rooster king tried several times to persuade him to stay, and even threatened to give the kingship to Qin Ran, but he refused.

Then King Wuji led the concubines, princes and ministers from the three palaces and six courtyards to the outskirts, and also presented some of the country's treasures, gold and silver silk and satin to Qin Ran.

Qin Ran naturally looked down on these vulgar things and didn't even bother to take a look at them.

Tang Sanzang faced the contemptuous looks of the ministers, stretched out his chubby hands, took a few ingots of gold, stuffed them into his baggage, and took another step forward on the road to discrediting Buddhism.

The fat monk naturally has his own ideas in mind. This is a necessity for visiting a brothel and will definitely be used in the next country.

Before Tang Sanzang left, he reluctantly glanced at the city.

The Buddhist scripture collection team set out on the road. Autumn was now over and it was the beginning of winter. The leaves in the wind forest were withering and the sky was getting colder. Tang Sanzang rode on horseback and drank the first breath of northwest wind in winter.

Within a few days, I arrived at the border of Wuji Country, and saw a large river hundreds of feet wide suddenly appeared in front of me, completely blocking the way.
This big river is actually an abyss, but it was divided by Guanyin Bodhisattva's magical power, and Wuji Kingdom became an island isolated on Xiniu Hezhou.

The power of Qin Ran's soul spread out, covering the endless space. Due to his thoughts, he had already discovered the Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and the two Arhats who were hidden in the void and exploring.

Now that Tang Sanzang had walked for so long, his stomach was growling with hunger, and he didn't care whether he could cross the river or not. He signaled Sun Wukong and Sha Seng to go out to catch wild animals, while he lay on the back of the white dragon horse, euphemistically saving time. With enough strength, he leisurely stroked the tail of the white dragon horse.

This action of Guanyin Bodhisattva will have the opportunity to precipitate a disaster. This is an unexpected blessing. Samantabhadra Bodhisattva seemed a little happy and was discussing with the two Arhats how to make Tang Sanzang and his disciples jump into the pit.

It's just that these two Arhats look a little weird. One is smiling all the time, showing his big white teeth, and his eyes are narrowed into a line, while the other has his brows furrowed, like Rodin's sculpture Thinker, immersed in deep thinking. , making people feel that he is always pretending. The two guys just kept their expressions and were unmoved. When Samantabhadra said something, the happy Arhat would laugh, and the pensive Arhat would pretend to nod deeply without expressing any opinion.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva looked dissatisfied and asked, "Two venerable sirs, do you two have any opinions on how to arrange the disaster?"

"Haha, I listen to the Bodhisattva in everything." Happy Arhat laughed, looking silly and easy to talk to.

The pensive Arhat nodded, looking like a wise philosopher, indicating that I did the same.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva expressed his plan in his mind, "Then let the Happy Arhat enter this water and become a monster. The Meditative Arhat will become a boatman and help Tang Sanzang cross the river. When the time comes, the boat Halfway through, Happy Arhat took action and took Tang Sanzang into the water. Finally, I stepped forward again, and this difficulty was completed. "

"Haha, Bodhisattva, I don't think this is right. How can I, an Arhat, turn into a monster?" Happy Arhat said with a simple smile.

"Then what do you think we should do?" Puxian Bodhisattva stared at the other party dissatisfied. Damn it, you didn't say anything when I asked you to express your opinion just now. Now that the arrangements have been made, you are giving in again. This guy looks honest, but in fact he is extremely honest. treacherous.

"Haha, Bodhisattva, let the pensive Arhat turn into a monster. His number of transformations is more profound than mine!"

"Master Si Si, what do you think?" Samantabhadra looked at Si Si Arhat.

Meditating Arhat frowned, with a look of embarrassment on his face. He was about to shake his head, but was interrupted by Happy Arhat: "Haha, Bodhisattva, Meditating Arhat didn't speak, so he must have agreed."

"This..." Pensive Arhat glanced at Happy Arhat dissatisfiedly, "Bodhisattva, what kind of monster should I turn into?"

Every time Arhat said something, he had to think deeply in his brain, and he choked out ten words in seven minutes.
Puxian Bodhisattva said impatiently: "You can figure it out!"

The pensive Arhat thought for a moment, then turned into a big turtle and fell into the water.

The happy Arhat watched in the void, and when he saw that the time was right, he laughed, fell into the river, and became a boatman.

Tang Sanzang was holding a piece of meat in his hand, chewing it until his mouth was full of oil. He saw a boatman holding a boat from a distance and walking towards this side. He saw that the boatman was in simple clothes. It was just such a small boat in the rough river. It actually drove as smoothly as a mountain.

And the boatman still looked happy, looking extremely honest, and recited a poem in his mouth, "I don't care about good or evil for a moment, I don't care about prosperity or failure, my wisdom is up and down, I am hungry and thirsty."

Tang Sanzang took one look and felt something was wrong. How could this ordinary boatman be so capable? He could hold the boat without being submerged in such a turbulent river.

Tang Sanzang replied anxiously, "Master Qin, isn't this guy a monster?"

Sun Wukong raised fire and looked with golden eyes, but found no flaws. He shook his head and said: "Master, there is no evil spirit in the boatman. He should not be a monster."
