Chapter 536: Two Saints of the West

Chapter 536: The Two Saints of the West
The Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva left the South China Sea, but thinking about what happened today, he still felt aggrieved, so he went straight to the Lingshan scenic spot.

Looking from afar, twelve white rainbow lights shine on the top of Lingshan Mountain, illuminating the heavens, sacred and peaceful.

The Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva, who was originally full of injustice, was affected by the Buddha's light, and his mood turned peaceful involuntarily. He entered the Lingshan Mountain, and saw the blue phoenix dancing, the colorful phoenix singing, the spirit turtle holding longevity, the fairy crane catching ganoderma, and the monks gathered together, discussing scriptures and Taoism, practicing tranquility and returning to the truth, practicing Zen, and realizing the great way. It was a peaceful and tranquil scene of a paradise.

The Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva became more determined and went straight into the depths of Lingshan Mountain. Inside the Great Hall of the Buddha, he saw a majestic and compassionate Buddha sitting on a ninth-level lotus platform. Buddha light was surging around his body, and his gentle Buddha eyes seemed to encompass the universe and the way of birth and death.

Above all the heavens, supreme.

"I failed to guard the Rakshasa well, causing it to escape. The Avici Sword fell into the hands of Ji Ren, the third generation disciple of the Chan Sect. Please punish me, Buddha."

The Great Saint National Master Wang Bodhisattva came into the main hall, knelt on the ground and asked for forgiveness.

"I already know your intention. This is not your fault. The bad guys have ulterior motives. Don't worry about it."

The Tathagata Buddha on the high platform spoke with a smile on his face. His voice was so loud that it made the Great Sage State Master Wang Bodhisattva feel more at peace.

"But the Rakshasa was killed by Ji Ren of Nanhai, which damaged my Buddhist plan. He also threatened to come to my Lingshan to punish me." The Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva told everything that happened in the South China Sea.

After listening to the words of the Great Saint State Master Wang Bodhisattva, the Tathagata Buddha said, "Hui Ye, you have violated the precept of anger."

As soon as these words were spoken, it was like the sound of a dusk drum and a dawn bell, stirring in the mind of the Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva.

The Great Saint State Master Wang Bodhisattva was startled, and immediately said, "My disciple was aroused by a nameless anger for a moment, please forgive me, World Honored One."

"It's not your fault that a killing calamity has come. Go back to the cave and stay in seclusion for a hundred years." said the Buddha.

"World Honored One?" Upon hearing this, the Great Saint State Master Wang Bodhisattva opened his eyes wide.
"Go." The Buddha's voice was light, but it carried a majesty that could not be disobeyed.

The Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva did not dare to resist, so he had to turn around and leave, accepting the punishment obediently.

Looking at the performance of the Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva, the Buddha Tathagata sighed slightly.

"If you do this, Huiye will probably be unwilling."

At this moment, a Buddha appeared out of thin air in the main hall. He was six feet tall, with a golden face and a look of compassion.

One of the two saints in the West, Amitabha.

Of course, he is better known by his original Taoist name, Jie Yin Taoist.

The origin of Buddhism, the creation of the golden body of relics, the nine-level lotus platform, and the Eastern Blue Lotus Treasure Flag laid the foundation for the magical powers of Buddhism.

"His mind is unstable and needs some polishing. A hundred years of seclusion can be considered as an explanation to the Chan sect." said the Buddha.

"Junior brother, do you think the Chan school will have the upper hand in this calamity?" Jie Yin asked.

"There is a glimmer of hope under the Heavenly Dao, so Jiejiao has hope of obtaining the God-Slaying Whip and the List of Gods, but it is only a hope. The Chanjiao has a greater chance of success. And only if the Chanjiao succeeds can we join the game. Otherwise, if it is Jiejiao, Tongtian will not let us join the game." said the Buddha.

"That's true for Tongtian, but does Yuanshi have good intentions? Look at Buddhism today, it's about practicing Zen and attaining enlightenment, and respecting the Bodhisattva path. And I don't know how much of Yuanshi's teachings are mixed into the Bodhisattva path. Tongtian is xenophobic and looks down on you and me, but Yuanshi wants to turn Buddhism into a branch of the Chan teaching. Which one is a good thing?" Jieyin shook his head.

"Brother, what you said means that they are not good people. Am I one? People count me, and I count people. The golden elixir and the relics share the same benevolence and righteousness. It turns out that the three religions are one family. He can disrupt my Buddhist teachings, so can't I disrupt his Xuanmen teachings? Besides, in this endless life, if there is no calculation, how can we spend this long life?" Buddha Tathagata chuckled.

“So, he sent Cihang to you and converted to Buddhism in front of you, but you were still helpless against him.” Jie Yin said.

"It's Guanyin, not Cihang. What's more, Guanyin is improving Buddhism, not destroying it. Buddhism is always Buddhism, and it is moving in a better direction. What's the harm? It's because his teaching is missing a Daluo." Tathagata Buddha corrected.

"So she has always called you the World Honored One, and never called you Master." Jie Yin said. "Respect is in the heart, not in words. Yuanshi taught Cihang for thousands of years with his sincerity. Guanyin is grateful, so it is natural that he will respect me. Don't I have a sincere heart? He taught Cihang for thousands of years, and I will teach Guanyin for hundreds of millions of years. I will make him shoot himself in the foot." Tathagata Buddha said.

"You are always so confident. But this time Ma Sui made the plan, Shen Gongbao took action, and you personally took part in the battle. You were bullying the weak and failed. What are you going to do now?" Jie Yin said.

This time, Rakshasa's secret escape was a plot by Jiejiao.

But Xiniu Hezhou is the territory of Buddhism. There are two saints in Buddhism, one is in charge of the facade, and the other will constantly sense the situation of the disciples.

So they knew Ma Sui's plan from the very beginning.

Do you really think that his two great supernatural powers of telepathy and knowledge of destiny are just a joke?

However, this matter is beneficial rather than harmful to Buddhism.

So not only did they not stop it, but they went with the flow.

According to their original idea, Rakshasa defected and rushed into the South China Sea, and then the Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva came forward to rescue Ji Ren, so that the Chan Sect would owe Buddhism a favor to facilitate future plans.

At the same time, the truth was told, which intensified the contradiction between the Chan and Jie sects and expanded the fight between the two sects.

No matter how you look at it, Buddhism has its benefits.

No loss.

"Who would have thought that such an accident would happen. Ji Ren could actually kill a Rakshasa with the cultivation level of a Mysterious Immortal with the cultivation level of a True Immortal. It's really strange. Rakshasa is born with the body of a Rakshasa King. He can be reborn with a drop of blood and is immortal. Ji Ren is only a True Immortal. Although he can challenge opponents of higher levels, logically speaking, he cannot surpass Rakshasa. Even the power of a double-edged sword is not as strong as that of the Avici Sword." Tathagata Buddha frowned.

He still can't figure out why the deviation occurred.

It is unreasonable that Ji Ren can defeat Rakshasa.

Ji Ren knew that killing Rakshasa would reduce his luck, but he still wanted to kill him, which was unreasonable.

These two unreasonable things caused the Buddhist sect to lose the Avici Sword.

Although it was a not very important calculation, it was a big failure for him as a saint to miscalculate his plan.

"It should be so, but there are some people in this world who don't follow common sense. If you follow common sense, I'm afraid you won't be able to survive the Purple Sky Tribulation." Jie Yin chuckled.

"Brother is right. It's just that people like this are the easiest to disrupt the situation, and I hate them the most. But he can't die. If he dies because of the loss of luck here, I'm afraid Yuanshi will come to the mountain to fight him." said Buddha Tathagata.

“Don’t worry, Yuanshi is here, he won’t die. People who have survived the Purple Sky Tribulation will not die here. Even if he wants to die, there will be people who don’t want him to die.” Jie Yin smiled and pointed to the sky.

The person in Zixiao Palace has been waiting for such a person for a long time.

“If he is useful, Yunxiao also experienced the Zixiao tribulation in the past, but he did not realize that person’s idea. Now he is no different from an ordinary Daluo Jinxian.” said the Buddha.

"So Yunxiao is no longer a possibility, but Ji Ren is not. It is better to be still than to move. Let's wait and see." Jie Yin said.

Buddha Tathagata could not deny that his senior brother was not saying that it was better to be still than to move, but that it was better to be still. He and Jie Yin had known each other for many years, but Jie Yin had rarely left Lingshan, and the few times he left, he was almost always with him.

If he hadn't been running outside every day, how could Buddhism exist today?

Now that the catastrophe has come, if he doesn't move, how can he be worthy of his body as a saint who is neither born nor destroyed?
However, there is no rush now. Let's wait and see what Ji Ren is going to do.
