Chapter 252 Locking Longjing

According to Master Longzu, it was the Shushan sect who sealed him back then.

It is said that a Shushan ancestor personally suppressed this dragon ancestor.

This is why there is no information about this dragon ancestor in the records of Longhu Mountain, because it was not suppressed by the Celestial Master of Longhu Mountain at all.

Moreover, Shushan and Longhushan didn’t communicate much.

In addition, Shushan Mountain is more closed than Longhu Mountain and rarely communicates with outsiders.

In the previous era when news was difficult to circulate, they sealed a dragon ancestor, and it was normal that other sects did not record it.

"Shushan Taoist Sect..."

Heavenly Master Xuantian nodded slightly.

This does make sense.

Shushan is located among the lofty mountains in western Sichuan. The peaks are soaring in the sky, like floating clouds. It is said that it is a resort given to the world by the immortal family.

Since the establishment of this sword sect, successive generations of disciples have diligently practiced immortality, entered the world to subdue demons, and imprisoned demons in the Demon Locking Tower to protect the world from evildoers. They are deeply loved by the people and are even revered as gods in Shu.

Shushan has little contact with other sects, and the Shushan immortal arts they practice are mainly alchemy and swordsmanship. However, Shushan disciples do not practice to become immortals, but to save the world and save people, which is different from ordinary Taoists.

Shushan's strength is still very strong. If a particularly powerful ancestor of a certain generation takes action, it will indeed have the strength to seal the Dragon Ancestor.

Generally speaking, this is a very independent sect, just like a wandering cloud and wild crane admiring itself.

I don't want to communicate with outsiders, and I don't have deep relationships with the major sects.

Moreover, the Shushan sect is quite closed to the outside world.
It's normal for them not to announce the news to the public.

How independent is this sect?
Master Xuantian remembers that Shushan was almost wiped out by demons more than 1000 years ago.

But he insisted on not asking for help from the outside and carried it on his own. After that battle, Shushan was dead and injured, and it took hundreds of years for the rest to recover.

It is indeed outrageous.

If such a thing could indeed be done.

Then, Master Xuantian and the others followed the ancestor of the sky fox and walked towards the cave.

There is a layer of Taoist restrictions at the entrance of the cave.

It is to prevent ordinary mortals from entering, because after all, there is a Dragon Ancestor Demon that is more than ten thousand years old locked inside. If an ordinary mortal breaks in, it is very likely that the seal will be destroyed without knowing it.

In order to prevent this from happening, the people of Shushan set up a Taoist ban at the entrance of the cave.

But this kind of restriction is nothing to the Celestial Master.

Longhushan was originally a Taoist, and they had their own methods of cracking Taoist restrictions.

Being able to do so without harming the internal seal allows one to freely enter and exit it.

For knowledgeable people, these restrictions can be ignored.

Master Xuantian opened this layer of restrictions with a few tricks, and then entered it and entered the cave.

At the beginning it was extremely narrow, and then he became enlightened. After taking dozens of steps, he suddenly became enlightened.

The space inside is not small.

Moreover, the interior clearly feels that it has been modified by others, and there are traces of human activities. There are many formation flags, torches, compasses, and magic swords hanging on the caves in the mountain walls.

These things are all Taoist magic weapons to suppress the cave.

Master Xuantian took a brief look at the formation flags, compasses, and magic swords here.

It is indeed Shushan's handiwork.

Then they saw a well in the middle of the cave, which was the Suolong Well mentioned by ancestor Tianhu. Suolongjing, also known as Suojiaojing, is something from the mythology of the Dragon Kingdom.

The earliest myth and legend is that King Yu locked up the dragon. Related legends include King Yu locking the dragon well and Shun Well in Yuzhou, Zhiqijing in Guishan, Huaiyin, and the Dragon Pillar in Suolong Village, Wushan County.

In addition, there are also legends about locking dragon wells (locking dragon wells) in Beixinqiao, Tanzhe Temple and other provinces in the imperial capital.

In addition, there are many stories about locking Longjing and walking on dragons.

According to historical records, during the period of Yao and Shun, floods flowed across the world, the plains were flooded, and the people were in dire straits.

Dayu relieved the people's difficulties and led them to control floods. He used diversion methods to divert the water back to the river, and then dumped it into the sea. At that time, there was a hornless female dragon in the Huaihe River, named Jiaolong. She was the leader of water beasts and liked to cause floods and make waves.

When it saw that Dayu had exposed the land and stabilized the seas and rivers by controlling the floods, which threatened the Dragon Palace, he led Jiuzai, water snakes, turtles, and the like to induce dangerous tides and prevent King Yu from controlling the floods.

Dayu took advantage of the female dragon's tendency to draw water up, and ordered his subjects to stand on the top of the mountain, waiting for the dragon to come up, and hit it with rolling logs and talc. The dragon retreated after repeated battles.

Dayu first fought with him at Yiluo, then intercepted him at Heshuo, then pursued him at Chencai, and finally besieged the mother dragon at Yinghe River. Dayu ordered people to block Yingyuan and let the mother dragon return to the sea.

So the dragon was defeated and his descendants were scattered. Dayu also ordered hundreds of brave men to jump into the water and tie up the mother dragon with ropes and nooses.

So they dug a deep well in Gaofu, erected stakes, and locked the mother dragon into the well, preventing her from coming out forever. Only fish, turtles, shrimps and crabs are left to live in rivers and lakes and be friends with humans.

The King Yu's Suo Jiao Well on ancient Juntai Street in today's urban area is the relic of the day when Yu controlled the floods and bound the dragons.

Later, it was rebuilt. There was an antique pavilion built above the well, which rested on a hill and was covered with glazed tiles. There were four bright pillars in front and eight openwork doors and windows.

On the forehead of the door are engraved five characters: "King Yu locks the Jiaojing".

In the center of the hall, there is a standing statue of King Yu, with his right hand holding the dragon's head and his left hand holding an iron chain tightly, showing a majestic look.

There is a deep well in front of the statue, covered with huge rocks. There is an iron chain pierced on the stone to show that there is a dragon tied inside the well.

When you remove the manhole cover, you will see water in the well. There is a stone dragon in the water, looking up to the sky, as if it is about to come out.

When viewers see this, they all remember the great achievements of Yu the Great who endured all hardships, benefited the people, and controlled floods.

During the war, imps invaded. After hearing the legend of Suolong Well, a group of imps who did not believe in evil ran to Suojiao Well of King Yu and removed the big stone slab from the manhole cover.

Then a dozen or so people pulled the iron chain at the mouth of the well together. After pulling it out for more than ten meters, water began to gush out of the well, with blood foaming on it, like water from a large pot boiling.

From the depths of the bloody water in the well, there was also a low sound like the roar of cattle, like a movement coming from the Jiuyou underworld.

Those little guys were so scared that they didn't dare to pull the well anymore, and they didn't dare to damage the well, so they quickly sealed the well mouth with a stone slab. From then on, the well became a big mystery, but no one dared to go there anymore. touch it.

Deng Zhimo's Taoist theme in the Ming Dynasty was named "Flying Sword" based on the story of Lu Dongbin. The fourth chapter is "Dongbin obtained the sword technique of escaping to the sky, and the flying fairy sword killed the dragon and killed the tiger"; the fifth chapter is "Lü Chunyang Su Bai" Peony, pure sun, flying sword to kill the yellow dragon."

Taoism uses magical swords to drive away evil spirits and eliminate harm, and the story of Xu Xun killing a dragon is the most typical one.

Volume 11 of "Neng Gai Zhai Man Lu" written by Wu Zeng of the Southern Song Dynasty, "Xu Jingyang built an iron pillar to suppress the dragons" said: "Xu Zhenjun of the Jin Dynasty was the order of Jingyang. At that time, there were dragons in Jiangxi that were harming him. Jingyang and his disciple Wu Meng killed them with their swords, so they made A large iron pillar to suppress the place.”

The story of Xu Xun's killing of dragons is widely spread, and there are more than one remains of his killing of dragons. The Northern Song Dynasty's music history "Taiping Huanyu Ji" records the events of Xu Xun's Jiao Well, and also records Xiangyan, Guixi County, Xinzhou, and Jishui County, Jizhou The stories of Zhenjun Xu Xun slaying dragons in Xuantan, Fengshui, Fengxin County, Hongzhou, Daye County, Xingguojun and other places.

Xu Xun's magic sword for killing dragons was once preserved in Xuantan Temple in Luling.

There is a poem:
Wu Gong thought about the Jingyang Order, but he didn't say that he was already respectful to the dragon.

At noon in Shang Yi's Titie Dian, the Yangtze River is as clear as a mirror.

At this time, Wu Gong was angry with his sword and vowed to kill the dragon to show his master.

The light of the sword was Geng Gengtian without saying a word, and it was thrown into Xuantan Town for eternity.

The Taoist method of suppressing evil dragons and suppressing evil spirits under mysterious ponds and deep wells is a common method.

It is the correct procedure to build Suolongjing in Shushan to suppress the Dragon Ancestor.
