History live broadcast: My audience is the ancestors

Chapter 169 The prosperous age of Kaiyuan

My charming and short-lived ancestor: that is to say, whether Li Zhi is sitting at home, the throne will come from heaven

Wan Ning can’t sleep (Guan): Well, why doesn’t it count?
I send my longing to the bright moon: Oh, so sometimes luck is also a part of strength.

Who in the clouds sent me a brocade book: I totally agree!

Tang Dynasty (Wude)
Xiao Chengqian hugged his future self, his eyes slightly red.

Queen Changsun and Li Shimin also looked distressed and remorseful. This was their eldest son who they had high hopes for!
How could this happen despite how young you are?
And little Li Tai is still Li Chengqian's good brother. Seeing his brother's miserable appearance when he grew up, he stopped and hugged Li Chengqian's other leg.

Li Jiancheng and Li Yuan stood nearby, feeling uncomfortable.

To Li Jiancheng, Li Chengqian was still the sensible and obedient eldest nephew, and when he grew up, Li Chengqian was also a prince who was cheated by Li Shimin just like him.

All I can say is that we are in the same boat!

But now he wants to know how his second brother who has become the emperor reacted when he couldn't find his eldest son?

After all, Tianmu feels sorry for him as an outsider when he talks about it, let alone Li Shimin, his biological father.

As Li Jiancheng expected, Li Shimin was indeed crying now.

That's his eldest son! Even if he knew that he was rebellious, he would not want to harm his son!
How did it become like this?
Li Shimin knew about Li Chengqian's trip to Wudechao through Tianmu. At that time, Li Shimin felt that the sky was falling.

His son, how disappointed he was that he was unwilling to accompany him in the last period of his life!
Erfeng felt wronged, but Erfeng didn't say anything.ヽ(≧Д≦)ノ

He looked at the palace prepared for Li Chengqian, and there was no longer that pale and weak figure in it.

Originally, he shouldn't be here.

But the sky has shown that he is not going to die soon. After all, he is his son, and no one dares to object to letting him live here.

After all, what if the canopy is watching?
But now Li Chengqian left without leaving a word for him.

Sure enough, are you still blaming him?

Li Shimin lowered his eyebrows, hoping that the other one would treat Gao Ming well.

……

Su Yue saw the comment area and said: "Okay, that's all Li Zhi said. The next one is the Kaiyuan Dynasty created by Li Zhi's grandson Li Longji, so stay tuned!"

The prosperous age of Kaiyuan, also known as the rule of Kaiyuan, refers to the prosperous age of the Tang Dynasty under the governance of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty.

After Tang Xuanzong ascended the throne, he promoted culture and education, appointed talented people such as Yao Chong and Song Jing, reformed official positions, rectified the administration of officials, and worked hard to govern.

During the Kaiyuan period, the Tang Dynasty entered its heyday.

Politically, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty reformed the official administration, improved the efficiency of the bureaucracy, re-employed virtuous officials, and revised laws.

Economically, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty formulated economic reform measures: cracking down on wealthy noble families and liberating the labor force; reforming and implementing the food feudal system to increase government revenue and reduce the people's burden; cracking down on Buddhist forces and vigorously developing agriculture.

In terms of military affairs, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty reformed the military system, vigorously developed farming in border areas, and expanded territory. The Tang Dynasty established the Mohe Dudufu, Shiwei Dudufu, Heishui Dudufu, and Bohai Dudufu in the Northeast. For the first time in Chinese history, the Northeast was The entire territory of the three provinces was included in the territory of China.

Culturally, culture and education were promoted, Taoism was emphasized and Buddhism was emphasized, and talents emerged in large numbers. Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty also improved ethnic relations and played a great role in promoting social and economic development.

During the Kaiyuan period, the Tang Dynasty reached an extremely high level in all aspects. Its national power was unprecedentedly strong, its social economy was unprecedentedly prosperous, and its population increased significantly. During the Tianbao period, the Tang Dynasty's population reached 8000 million.

Commerce is very developed, domestic transportation is accessible in all directions, the city is prosperous, and foreign trade is very active. Persian and food merchants come in droves, and merchants of all colors and languages gather in Chang'an, Luoyang, Guangzhou and other metropolises.

My charming and short-lived ancestor: It means that Li Longji’s ability was really strong during the Kaiyuan period.
I send my thoughts to Mingyue: Yes, and that is to say, as long as Li Longji does not do anything wrong after Tianbao, his reputation is definitely better than Li Shimin
Who in the clouds sent a brocade book: Yes, but it is a pity, he is still the only Xuanzong in history

My charming and short-lived ancestor: couldn’t agree more! But if Li Shimin really did what Li Longji did, would he kill Li Zhi?

Wan Ning can’t sleep acridine (Guan): I don’t know, but I think he will

Pay attention, this woman’s name is Xiaomei: Yes, after all, Li Shimin always puts the people and the Tang Dynasty first!
Jiangnan has been in mist: Agreed! Very much agree

I send my love to the bright moon: plus one!

……

Su Yue looked at the comment area and said, "Okay, let's take a look at Li Longji's life story!"

Tang Xuanzong Li Longji (September 685, 9 - May 8, 762), the grandson of Tang Gaozong Li Zhi and Wu Zetian, the third son of Tang Ruizong Li Dan, so he was also called Li Sanlang, and his mother was Concubine Dou De.

唐朝在位最长的皇帝(712年9月8日—756年8月12日在位)。

Li Longji was born in Luoyang, the eastern capital, on Wuyin day in August of the first year of Chui Gong (September 685, 9).

He is wise, decisive and versatile by nature.

He is good at riding and shooting, and is proficient in the study of music and rhythm.

He was first named King of Chu and later changed to King of Linzi.

On Gengzi Day in June of the first year of Tang Long (July 710, 7), Li Longji and Princess Taiping jointly launched the "Tang Long Coup" to kill the Queen Wei Group.

Later, he died of Princess Taiping and gained the supreme rule of the country.

In the early days of Tang Xuanzong's reign, he paid attention to bringing order out of chaos, appointed Yao Chong, Song Jing and other virtuous ministers, worked hard to govern, and created the most prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty - the Kaiyuan era.

He attached great importance to the jurisdiction of border areas. He named Da Zuorong of Sumo Mohe as the "King of Bohai County" and established the Bohai Governor's Palace and Heishui Governor's Palace. As the "Huairen Khan", he consolidated the unity of the multi-ethnic country.

However, in the later period of his reign, he gradually neglected the government affairs and favored the treacherous ministers Li Linfu and Yang Guozhong; he favored Concubine Yang Guifei, coupled with policy mistakes and re-employing An Lushan and other ethnic groups outside the Great Wall in an attempt to stabilize the Tang Dynasty's borders, which resulted in the eight-year Anshi Rebellion. It laid the foundation for the Tang Dynasty's transition from prosperity to decline.

In the fifteenth year of Tianbao (756), Prince Li Heng came to the throne and respected him as the Supreme Emperor.

On Jiayin Day in April of the first year of Baoying (May 762, 5), he died of illness in the Shenlong Hall of Chang'an at the age of 3. His posthumous title was Zhidao Dasheng, Mingxiao Emperor, and his temple name was Xuanzong (the Qing Dynasty changed it to Yuan Zong), buried in Tailing.
