The ancestor of all monsters in Shushan

Chapter 743: Fighting Xinru Again

Xin Ruyu, as a Taoist nun, restored her appearance to what it was more than a thousand years ago and slowly walked into the Baihua Cave.

Master Youtan saw her come in, sat on the couch, and smiled: "Fellow Daoist Xin, please sit down, Xia'er will serve tea."

Xin Ruyu sat down on the chair, glanced at the tea brought by Qi Xiaer, but did not drink it. Instead, she looked Master Youtan up and down.

Master Youtan smiled and asked her, "Fellow Daoist, why did you come to Baihua Mountain as a guest and make such a big scene this time? What is your purpose?"

Xin Ruyu said: "Master, why do you ask when you already know the answer? I came here to ask you to pass away."

"I still have some unfinished business, so I cannot enter Nirvana yet."

"But I'm here today, and the master must pass away immediately. If you have any unfulfilled wishes, you can tell me and I will fulfill them for you."

Master Youtan still had a smile on his face: "My first wish is to kill you, a heretic who clings to Buddhism. If you are willing to commit suicide today, I will pass away tomorrow."

Xin Ruyu was not angry either: "I am not a heretic who follows Buddhism. I am an orthodox Buddhist."

Master Youtan asked: "Since you are an orthodox Buddhist, why do you want to dress like a Taoist now?"

Xin Ruyu chuckled, "Am I dressed like a Taoist now? I see with my Dharma eyes that everyone in the world, including people and animals, is dressed like a Buddhist! Their essences all have Buddha nature, and their appearances are all Buddha statues. I am no different from that monk's robes."

Master Utan asked again: "According to what you said, what you practice is not heterodox?"

"Of course! From the perspective of Buddha, there is no such thing as the right way or the wrong way in the world. They are all Buddhist! For example, the Four Books and Five Classics read by Confucian scholars, and the Five Thunders Orthodox Method practiced by Taoists, are all Buddhist teachings! Why? From the perspective of the master, isn't this the case?"

Master Youtan nodded and said, "You are worthy of being a master of your generation for having such a broad mind and insight. It's just that the Buddha said that the Dharma is called the Dharma. There is no Dharma in itself. They are all just names. Although you can see the appearance of sentient beings as the appearance of Buddha and the laws of the world as the Dharma, although it is brilliant, it also falls into the realm of names."

"The Buddha said that the Dharma is called the Dharma. I am just calling it by its name. Because the Master is attached to the name and distinguishes the appearance of the Buddha, I call it by its name. If the Master is not attached to this, I would not say it."

This guy is really awesome!
Master Udumbara asked again: "All living beings have Buddha nature, and you believe that the appearance of living beings is the appearance of Buddha. Since both nature and appearance are Buddha, why do you still need to 'save all living beings'? Isn't that 'saving all Buddhas'?"

Xin Ruyu laughed and did not give a direct answer.

This can be answered according to the correct Buddhist teachings: It is not me who saves sentient beings, but the Buddhas who save me.

But this cannot be said of those who attach themselves to Buddhism, because they are arrogant and need to maintain the dignity of their leader. Once they lower themselves, the cult will not be able to continue.

Xin Ruyu knew this, but she could not say "May all Buddhas save me" against her will. Otherwise, with her magical powers, her words would come true and every word would have a mysterious connection. If she said something wrong, it would easily give the other party an opportunity to take advantage of her.

She finally gave this answer: "Buddhas have the same nature, but they have different levels of merit and practice. Arhats are Buddhas, Pratyekabuddhas are Buddhas, separate teaching Buddhas are Buddhas, and perfect teaching Buddhas are also Buddhas! I am at the highest level, a perfect teaching Bodhisattva Buddha! All sentient beings have their own differences in the order of their practice. Although they have Buddha nature, they have not yet attained Buddhahood."

This is another typical cult statement.

Master Youtan immediately seized the opportunity to attack, "You have only changed the name of sentient beings to Buddha. You still have various distinctions in your mind. Ordinary people see the self, the others, and the sentient beings. You see the Buddha of me, the Buddha of others, and the Buddha of all Buddhas. You are still an ordinary person in essence. If you have a discriminating mind, I am afraid you will not be able to see the One True Dharma Realm!"

The two men asked each other questions and made witty remarks.

In fact, Xinru Shenni's level of Buddhist knowledge was not inferior to that of Master Youtan. If the original Xinru Shenni were to compete with her, she might even defeat Master Youtan.

The key point is that her Buddhist philosophy has reached the ultimate level, but her practice of Buddhism is not up to par.

Xie Shan was able to reach the state of "no hindrance in principle", but he failed when it came to "no hindrance in matters".

The practice of Buddhism emphasizes "faith, understanding, practice and verification". The three of them have reached the highest level in "understanding", but have taken three different paths in "practice".

Master Youtan used what Xin Ruyu was doing now to criticize her, because what she was doing now was not in line with Buddhist principles. No matter how many excuses she made, Master Youtan always hit her directly in the heart and hurt her.

The two debated for half a day. Master Youtan was calm and composed, but Xin Ruyu was defeated again and again. Finally, she realized that she could not defeat the old nun today and could not make her pass away. So she took the initiative to hand over the relic. Xin Ruyu said, "I originally thought that Master longed for the Western Paradise, but was only delayed because of some worldly ties. I came here specially to send Master off, but I didn't expect that Master actually changed her mind and was greedy for this evil world and refused to go to the West. In this case, Master, don't leave. Let's create a great Pure Land here with me!"

As she spoke, the tea in front of her suddenly flew out of the cup. In the blink of an eye, the cup of hot tea turned into a long boiling river waterfall, sweeping towards the Udumbara nun sitting on the couch.

Her move looked simple, but it actually condensed her life's skills. Densely packed Buddha shadows appeared in the waterfall of tea, including Sakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Akshobhya Buddha... and finally the Heart-like Buddha, all of them with golden bodies and precious light, sitting upright on the lotus platform. They attacked at the same time, striking out with their palms, and the force of each palm was equivalent to that of a giant Vajra Spirit Palm!
Master Youtan couldn't resist this attack at all!

At the same time, she cast a spell, using Buddha's light to seal off the surrounding space and prevent Master Youtan from escaping.

She came here today with two preparations. If she could force Master Youtan to pass away and reveal his relics, that would be fine. If not, she would kill her and stuff her into a big jar to make her into a physical relic!
The "Master Udumbara" was slightly surprised to see her powerful methods. He pointed his hand upwards, and three Tushita flames appeared above his head, emitting purple and green light, and formed a auspicious cloud to protect his head.

Then the bed beneath him turned into a colorful twelve-petal lotus platform.

Xin Ruyu was shocked when she saw this: "You are not Master Udumbara!"

"Master Youtan" changed her appearance rapidly. She no longer looked like an old nun, but a young Taoist priest, none other than Shi Feiyang!

Shi Feiyang used three purple-green divine flames to block the golden Buddha's palm that was bombarding down on his head, which only caused the purple-green light to gush out and the clouds to splash.

The colorful lotus pedestal under his seat was taken from the ancient treasure that Dayu used to subdue the Xuanyin True Water of the Xiji Sect. He added a large amount of Five Elements elites, Yuanci True Qi, stardust from the heavens, Tianyi True Water, etc. to it and refined it again. Although it was not made of lotus from heaven, its nature was earth and it had the attributes of the five elements. He directly refined it into a twelve-grade lotus pedestal, which could serve as a "flower pot" for the other two lotus flowers, one blue and one white, to provide nutrition.

At this time, the lotus platform appeared, with thousands of petals in full bloom and dazzling colorful light, which merged with the purple and green light above, protecting Shi Feiyang tightly inside and blocking the intensive Buddha palm bombardment from the front, back, left and right.

Shi Feiyang laughed loudly: "I have been waiting for you here for a long time on behalf of Master Youtan!" He stretched out his hand and pointed, and ten fireball-like things appeared around Xin Ruyu's body, but they were purple-blue in color. At first, they were only as big as the mouth of a teacup, and they began to rotate around Xin Ruyu, spinning faster and faster, and getting bigger and bigger. In the blink of an eye, ten sun disks were formed, spewing purple-blue divine fire inward!

Xin Ruyu used the ultimate move of the Great Repentance of All Buddhas in Heaven and he also used his own original Ten Days of Heavenly Punishment.

Xin Ruyu shouted angrily, and his hands quickly changed seals. A golden light flashed on his body, and he disappeared out of thin air.

Originally, when she came in, the "Heart Like Buddha" on the throne outside had disappeared. At this time, she disappeared in the cave, and the "Heart Like Buddha" with a hundred-foot golden body appeared on the throne outside again.

However, Shi Feiyang's magic was extraordinary. When she returned to her seat, the ten purple-blue suns also came out and still surrounded her body.

Her golden body grew to a hundred feet tall, and the diameters of the ten sun wheels also became extremely large. They began to revolve around her, emitting raging purple and green divine flames.

She found the purple-blue divine flame difficult to withstand, let alone others.

Fortunately, she spread her hands at the first moment, releasing a large amount of golden Buddha light and cloud, pushing away all those who were approaching, and pushing those with less spiritual power thousands of miles away.

Otherwise, a large number of people would be burned to ashes at once. In that case, she, who has a "heart like Buddha", would not be able to protect her believers, and would let them be killed right under her nose, which would really damage the image of the omnipotent "Buddha".

When people saw the purple-green fire, some thought it was a special effect created by the Buddha’s magical power. They even put their hands together and praised, “The power of my Buddha’s Dharma is boundless…”

Those who knew about it, such as Zhu Youmu, E Shengfan, Xie Shan, etc., were all horrified: "This is the Purple Blue Tushita Fire! The evil dragon is nearby..."

These people attacked the sun wheel at the same time!
All of a sudden, various Buddha's palms, Buddha's fingers, Buddha's seals, Dharma wheels, Zen staffs, alms bowls, vajra, etc. all came over and hit the sun hard.

However, Shi Feiyang's ten-day heavenly punishment was unleashed using the purple-green Tushita fire, which was the Taixu spiritual flame, the purple mansion true fire, and had taken tens of millions of years to nurture in the Taixu Heaven, the highest level in the heavens and myriad worlds.

When these things of theirs were thrown in, they were like a drop in the ocean and started to burn.

Xin Ru Shen Nun was very angry. She used the Buddhist Heart Light Escape Technique. She could go wherever her mind went. Theoretically, even the end of the universe could be reached with a thought.
But even though the people came over now, they couldn't escape the opponent's magic attack, and ten sun wheels followed.
She shouted loudly: "Don't panic!"

Then she pointed her finger, and the seven-treasure golden pagoda in the sky shone brightly. The thick and sticky Buddha light, like honey, pressed down layer by layer, like the weight of a mountain, forcibly compressing the ten sun discs, and finally, with her shouting, she finally destroyed all the sun discs.
