Chapter 1206 Not Friends
Marlon Brando is undoubtedly an important figure in the history of film. His appearance and talent, his arrogance and charm, his unruly and arrogant, have created a complex image in countless controversies.

Some things, if done by others, are hopeless; but with Marlon Brando's words, everything seems reasonable and forgivable.

He has been nominated for an Oscar eight times and won it twice, with "On the Waterfront" and "The Godfather". He can star in stage play adaptations such as "A Streetcar Named Desire" that test his dialogue and acting skills, as well as commercial genre films such as "Superman" and "Guys and Dolls".

For a long, long time, he was the epitome of both looks and ability, a staple of Hollywood's golden generation.

There is no doubt that his charm has become a highlight on the big screen.

Anson stared at Scarlett in front of him, then glanced down at his hands, a hamburger in one hand and a Coke in the other, and his gaze returned to Scarlett again.

"Do I understand correctly? You think I am not Alain Delon, but Marlon Brando?"

Scarlett's mouth curled up slightly because of Anson's expression, but she still controlled her mouth, "Ah, seeing your expression, I'm beginning to regret it."

Anson spread his hands, "Don't worry, there are no wrong answers here, because I have my own answers."

Scarlett's mouth corners finally rose, "Okay, you are right, I think you should believe in yourself, you are far more than just a vase."

Anson, "Go on, this is new information to me, but please go on, I am listening carefully."

Seeing Anson's funny attitude, Scarlett became serious and said, "Otherwise, I'd better leave first."

Anson burst into laughter.

Scarlett pretended to leave but then took back her steps. "What I mean is that people always see your appearance. Because your appearance is so eye-catching, people take it for granted that your success comes from your appearance, and then ignore your hard work and dedication."

"It's been like this since the days of 'The Princess Diaries'."

"In that work, your shaping and grasp of the characters, you can see the edges and corners of the characters from the details."

"People tend to think that the role of a prince charming is simple, just a handsome man standing there and posing like a model, but it's not like that. The role needs to be charming and elegant, which means the actor needs to know what he is doing, rather than just standing there and posing stupidly."

As she spoke, Scarlett deliberately struck the classic pose of Marilyn Monroe with her skirt flying in "Some Like It Hot", and kept making faces.

That look, combined with the words, immediately gave off a sense of sarcasm and mockery.

Haha, hahaha.

This time it was Anson's turn to laugh out loud, "Sorry, I can't tell whether you are complaining or praising me."

Scarlett slumped her shoulders, "Oh, how sad. I guess I need to keep practicing."

Anson, "Come on, I believe you should play Marilyn Monroe in the future, you can do it."

Scarlett shook her head repeatedly, "Your expression is too forced, not sincere at all, I don't believe it."

Anson laughed heartily again, and Scarlett's expression lit up as well. "I mean, you've always been a great actor, right from your first appearance, and it's not fair for people to deny you your hard work just because of the way you look."

"Not like Orlando. No knock on him, he was a fascinating character in 'Lord of the Rings', but God, he was boring."

As she spoke, Scarlett rolled her eyes, without deliberately lowering her voice, not worrying at all about whether there were ears on the other side of the wall. Her frank attitude made people laugh.

"I have always admired your performance and believe you deserve more recognition."

Anson was slightly stunned. He could feel the sincerity in Scarlett's words.

This is not a polite statement.

It turns out that besides being a director, some people saw his dedication and hard work, some people saw him enjoying his life as an actor, and some people saw him trying to enjoy the fun of acting.

That look, quiet and focused, flickered in the dim light, and was like a calm and deep ocean, with the sound of waves dragging thoughts slowly falling in that deep blue. Bathed in that look, Scarlett's heart skipped a beat.

She tried to look away, she tried to cover herself, but in vain.

She just stared at Anson blankly, you looked at me, I looked at you, and the sound of your heart beating against your chest was particularly clear in the noisy night.

Then--

"Anson!"

A call broke the silence, and Anson and Scarlett both looked away.

"Are you ok?"

Hearing this again, Scarlett turned her head away and burst out laughing.

"You've done very well. Don't be discouraged. Try again next year. Come on!"

"Are you okay? Will you come to the party later? You must come. Everyone is waiting for you tonight. You won't hide in a corner and lick your wounds by yourself, right? There's no need. Really, brother, cheer up."

Crackling, there was another sudden downpour, without even having time to stop, it came whistling in mighty force, and then whistled past mighty force.

Scarlett turned her head and looked at the backs of the group of people. She looked at them carefully in the dim night and couldn't help revealing a slightly confused expression.

“Is that James Franco?”

Then he looked at Anson and got a nod of confirmation from Anson.

"I thought you were friends..."

Anson smiled directly, "We are indeed friends, so he invited me to the party in the hope that I could get rid of the haze of tonight."

"Everyone has their own way of dealing with problems, and this is James's."

Scarlett curled her lips slightly, revealing an expression of noncommittal, "I mean, does he also think that you suffered a heavy blow tonight?"

Anson looked at Scarlett with a hint of a smile in his eyes.

Scarlett immediately realized that she was the same. She had just thought that Anson might need some comfort, but Scarlett immediately straightened her back and put on a serious attitude.

"But we are not friends."

Anson blinked.

Scarlett said confidently, "We don't meet for dinner privately, and I don't even have your phone number. We are certainly not friends."

Anson raised his chin slightly, revealing an expression of sudden enlightenment, "So, you have been silently paying attention to my work and secretly cheering for me, right?"

Correct!
A firm tone was already on the tip of her tongue, and Scarlett blurted it out reflexively, but she vaguely sensed that something was wrong and slammed on the brakes at the last moment.

Scarlett looked at Anson with suspicion. She was almost falling into this man's trap. But now, how should she get out of the trap?

"I just like movies." Scarlett finally found her voice, "I just like movies. I always watch movies in my spare time. I cheer for all my fellow actors. I always hope that I can become a better actor, so I am constantly learning."

"That's all."

"Please don't get me wrong."
