Today is not the weekend, and among the children, only Xiaohai and Xixi will come back after evening self-study, so Yan Jiekuang still plans to cook something in case the children are hungry when they come back.

Yan Jiekuang asked Fangfang to look after his daughter, and then went to the kitchen in the front yard to cook. Yan Jiekuang did not plan to cook much, just some century egg and lean meat porridge, and some fried dumplings.

At 8:30 in the evening, Xiaohai and Xixi came back. As soon as they entered the yard, they shouted, "Dad, we are hungry."

After dinner, Xixi played with Fangfang for a while and then went to the study to review. Xiaohai took Liangzi to their own room. Yan Jiekuang coaxed Nannan to sleep first.
