Chapter 5, New Classmates, New Deskmates
Jiang Zhe entered the main teaching building where his class was located.

This building is several decades old and was built according to the drawings of the big goose. It has only three floors.

He went up to the third floor of the teaching building and found that all ten classrooms of the senior year were quiet. The students who had just arrived at school were rushing to their respective classes.

Walking along the east-west corridor to the southwest corner of the floor, I saw the head teacher, Mr. Yu, standing at the door of Class 9 of Grade , urging the students with his eyes.

Teacher Yu is 27 years old and has been working for less than three years. He is responsible for the ideological and moral education classes of classes 9 and 10, and is also the head teacher of class 9.

Class 9 was the first class she taught. Because she was young and lacked intimidation, she had to try hard to keep a straight face most of the time when facing students.

Jiang Zhe was deeply impressed by his high school homeroom teacher, who was a very responsible teacher.

"Hello, Teacher Yu." He walked closer and greeted her.

"Okay." Teacher Yu's expression remained unchanged, and he signaled with his eyes that Jiang Zhe should come into the classroom quickly.

She looked at Jiang Zhe's back, feeling a little confused.

Through more than two years, I have tried my best to understand the situation of each student in the class.

Jiang Zhe is an introverted student who doesn't talk much and has low talent. It is often dangerous for such students to take the college entrance examination.

However, based on observations in recent days, it is obvious that Jiang Zhe's personality has become more cheerful and he has become more proactive in learning. Although I don't know the reason yet, this is a good phenomenon.

She heard footsteps and turned around to see Director Lin, who was in charge of the school's art specialty class, walking towards her class with a girl.

Just one glance at the girl and her heart skipped a beat. The situation she least wanted to see happened again.

Jiang Zhe saw that half of the students in the class had already arrived, so he walked to the last row in the middle of the classroom, sat down in his seat, and started handing in his homework.

When he entered high school, he was over 1.8 meters tall, and now he is 1.85 meters tall, so he always sits in the last row.

At this time, most of the students were studying, and there were only a few sounds in the classroom.

Jiang Zhe had just opened his foreign language book when his deskmate Zhao Zhi walked into the classroom.

Zhao Zhi, wearing black-rimmed glasses and with a middle-parted hairstyle, walked briskly to his seat and greeted Jiang Zhe.

"Brother Zhe, you're here early." Then he turned and walked towards the first row.

Jiang Zhe glanced at him and didn't respond.

Because he is tall and big, he doesn't remember who first called him Brother Zhe.

This title is not a respectful one, but a teasing one, because in a high school art specialty class, being tall and strong is not an advantage.

The students in the art class seem to get along well with each other on the surface, but there is still a chain of contempt based on academic performance and painting level.

Jiang Zhe is in the middle position in the contempt chain.

Zhao Zhi was good at studying but not good at painting. He transferred from the liberal arts class at the end of his second year of high school and soon found a girlfriend in Class 9.

The teacher also knew about it. However, Zhao Zhi was very thick-skinned and would not change no matter how much criticism he received. When he saw the head teacher leaving the door for something, he sat next to his girlfriend and started talking to her in private.

No matter how tense the time was, there was always someone in the class who was in love. These two people did not shy away from other people's eyes at all, and their classmates were used to it.

Jiang Zhe knew what happened later.

Some people can get into college even when they are in a relationship. But Zhao Zhi and his wife were both in love. Their relationship lasted until graduation. After entering college, they each found a new partner.

Jiang Zhe remembered that when he graduated from college, he occasionally heard news about them, but later, there was no news at all.

He began to recite with his head down.

Soon, the rustling sounds in the classroom suddenly disappeared.

Generally, there is only one possibility for this kind of silence.

Looking up, I saw Director Lin, who was in charge of moral education, at the door of the classroom. To be more precise, it should be Deputy Director Lin. Because he was in charge of the school's art class and also taught some painting courses, he had the highest authority in the art class.

At this moment, he was staring at Zhao Zhi.

Zhao Zhi was caught unprepared. If it were someone else, he might be at a loss, but he stood up awkwardly and returned to his seat.

Director Lin knew Zhao Zhi’s character and knew that he would not change no matter what he said, so he just glared at him and turned away.

Some students smiled and continued with their previous studies.

Jiang Zhe vaguely remembered that it was during these few days that his deskmate seemed to be replaced.

He looked at Zhao Zhi.

Zhao Zhi took out a book and pretended not to care about what happened just now. "What?"

Jiang Zhe thought, if you were a girl, I would respond no matter how high or low I am.

He pretended to be mysterious and said, "I guess our relationship as deskmates has come to an end."

Zhao Zhi's eyes swept across the doorway: "I've been transferred several times, where else can I transfer to? Hey, do you dislike me?"

Jiang Zhe said, "I've been disgusted with you for a long time, but you just realized it?" He used to be at a disadvantage when he and his deskmate teased each other, and the key was that he was too thin-skinned. "Being your deskmate, I'm always affected by the teacher's anger."

"No, you've got it. Have you picked up on someone?" Zhao Zhi said this deliberately, and raised his voice, causing several girls around him to prick up their ears and prepare to collect gossip.

Jiang Zhe knew Zhao Zhi's tricks and was waiting for this moment.

Director Lin and Teacher Yu appeared at the classroom door together and heard Zhao Zhi's voice together.

"Zhao Zhi, come to my office after the next two classes." Director Lin couldn't help it, and after saying it, he gestured to Teacher Yu.

Most of the students in the class wanted to laugh, but they were trying hard to control their expressions.

Then, they saw Teacher Yu walking towards the podium, and a short girl followed him into the classroom.

Um? ?

The new girl was not tall, had pretty features, fair skin, and a little baby fat. Among a group of high school girls, she looked particularly cute and immediately attracted the attention of the whole class.

All the students guessed that there was a new classmate, and the key point was that she was a cute girl.

After the division of arts and sciences into classes in the second year of high school, students have been transferring to art classes. Some are from other schools, and some are from other classes in the school. It is difficult for these people to get into their ideal universities based on their academic performance alone, so they simply take the shortcut of art. Of course, whether it is a shortcut or not depends on the person.

"This is Xiao Yufeng. She has transferred to our class. Everyone should..." Teacher Yu made the routine introduction while observing the students' reactions.

Most of the boys' eyes began to flicker, and some of them could no longer control their expressions.

As expected, Teacher Yu could already guess what they were thinking.

What teachers hate most is that students at this stage are distracted by love. There are already a few bad examples in the class, and if there is such a beautiful girl, you can imagine what will happen. However, it is not up to me to reject any student who transfers to the class.

Xiao Yufeng greeted his classmates sweetly.

Teacher Yu began to arrange seats.

Just now, Director Lin, with a little anger, discussed with her about re-adjusting the seats in the class. She had already guessed why. The students in her class were not doing well, which made her feel embarrassed.

"Student Xiao Yufeng, please sit in the second row, next to Li Lu." She arranged for Xiao Yufeng to sit at the same table with a girl.

The student at the original position was transferred to another position. After the transfers, seven people were affected.

After adjustments, Zhao Zhi was moved to the last row against the wall, and he and his girlfriend were at two ends of the diagonal line of the classroom. If he wanted to meet his girlfriend, he had to take a route at a 90-degree angle.

The new book has been released and needs your support.
