Reborn as a great painter, with a system, you can be willful

Chapter 616, Renaissance Masterpiece, New Target

The Hermitage Theatre, also known as the Winter Palace Theatre, was built by Catherine II between 1783 and 1786 and was originally a private theater for the Tsar’s royal family.

When Jiang Zhe and Teacher Hu arrived outside the theater, they heard people talking in front of them. It seemed that a performance was going on inside. Many tourists were going to watch the performance in the theater.

Teacher Hu suggested that Jiang Zhe go over and take a look.

Jiang Zhe had never seen this kind of performance before, so he changed his plan to go around it and followed Teacher Hu into the theater.

Because many tourists stood in the aisle, the range of movement of tourists behind them was limited.

Jiang Zhe looked around the theater layout.

The audience seats were arranged in a stepped pattern, with several hundred seats. On the stage, several people were wearing drama costumes, and they seemed to be rehearsing.

Jiang Zhe lost interest when he saw that it was not a formal performance and he couldn't understand it.

In order to save time, I told Teacher Hu that I was going directly to the next exhibition hall.

As he was leaving the theater, he saw the beautiful woman.

His gaze lingered for a moment, and the woman also looked over.

She smiled sweetly at Jiang Zhe, with a hint of shyness in her smile.

The two people looked at each other. Jiang Zhe felt that they didn't know each other and the other party's smile was probably just out of politeness, so he responded with a smile and kept this scene in mind.

Teacher Hu also followed Jiang Zhe out of the exhibition hall.

Because there were so many visitors, Jiang Zhe walked slowly.

The girl was watching her friends chatting, but her eyes kept looking in the direction of Jiang Zhe until she could no longer see him.

"Why are you distracted, Galina?" The companion raised his voice when he noticed that the girl did not respond to his words.

The girl came to her senses and said quickly: "I'm fine."

Jiang Zhe soon saw another interesting work.

In the painting, there is a little boy holding an empty basket. At this moment, a dog comes to him to ask for food.

The boy could only spread his hands, probably to say, I have no more food. There was a smile on his face, with optimism and embarrassment.

Jiang Zhe guessed that this picture was not fictional, and the painter should have recorded a scene he had seen.

This kind of work, which vividly depicts a moment in life and has a breath of life, is worth savoring.

Although the painting technique was not particularly advanced and not superior to that of other painters of the same period, Jiang Zhe still enjoyed viewing it.

Jiang Zhe was just about to move forward when he saw Teacher Hu looking at a painting depicting the water town of Venice.

She walked from left to right, and then back to her original position, observing repeatedly from different angles.

"Jiang Zhe, look at this painting of a building. No matter which angle you look at it from, the perspective is very accurate. It's like being there in person."

Jiang Zhe took a look and agreed that the painting was very beautiful.

But his mind flew to the next exhibition hall.

The Raphael Room mainly exhibits Raphael's paintings.

However, when you enter the exhibition hall, the first thing you see is the glazed pottery from the Italian Renaissance.

The works of Raphael collected here are two icons. There are still many people watching.

Jiang Zhe first went to see one of the paintings. Madonna and Child, also known as the Annunciation of the Holy Child. Created by Raphael in 1502 or 1504, also known as the Madonna of Conestabile. The Hermitage named the paintings after the owner from whom they were purchased.

The painting is not large in size.

After Jiang Zhe saw it, he felt that this work was not Raphael's masterpiece.

He queued up to see another work.

The Holy Family is also known as the Virgin and Child with Joseph without a Beard. This painting is an early painting by Raphael, created in 1506, and is also one of the treasures of the Hermitage.

This painting is very interesting. Maria was already pregnant before she married the carpenter Joseph, but of course, the baby was not the carpenter's.

In the painting, Joseph looks at the birth of his son with a sad face. Jiang Zhe observes how the painter shapes each character.

Among them, there are bold changes to conventional perceptions, for example, Joseph's beard was removed, which is completely different from the image in previous paintings.

Jiang Zhe analyzed that the painter had pushed character creation to a new height during this period, using soft lines, perfect colors and character postures to make the painting feel perfectly harmonious.

During the visit, several older companions found Jiang Zhe and his companion and asked them if they wanted to rest.

Jiang Zhe realized that lunch time had passed without him noticing. Although several older teachers wanted to continue the tour, they really couldn't hold on any longer and decided to go have lunch first, take a break, and come back to continue the tour in the afternoon.

Jiang Zhe decided to save time and continue watching.

So, one group was divided into two teams.

Jiang Zhe stayed in the museum and continued to observe while the others went to have lunch.

The anticipation of viewing authentic works of famous artists and his healthy body allowed him to ignore hunger and not feel tired.

He walked through the Raphael Gallery, looking at the frescoes and the 52 biblical scenes on the ceiling.

According to the guidebook, the original Raphael Gallery is in the Vatican Museum. In 1775, Catherine II became fascinated by the murals and sent painters to the Vatican to copy the entire gallery to the Orient Palace, with the same architectural dimensions.

Jiang Zheyou found a painting that interested him.

Caravaggio's work - The Lute Player. There is only one work by Caravaggio in the Hermitage.

In the painting, there is a beautiful young man playing the piano.

On the table in front of the boy were music scores, fruits and other items. The painter depicted the symbols on the music scores very clearly.

This piece of music is a love song that was popular in the 16th century.

When Jiang Zhe saw the fruits in the painting, he was reminded of Caravaggio's masterpiece, Basket of Fruit.

These imperfect depictions on the fruits are similar to small cuts, or some fruits have worms, which are very tempting.

After seeing Caravaggio's works, Jiang Zhe walked through several exhibition halls, but he didn't feel anything for the collections and didn't stop.

He came to the Michelangelo Room.

Unfortunately, there is only one sculpture in the center of the exhibition hall, which is the work of Michelangelo.

The work is named Crouching Boy and is the only work belonging to Michelangelo in the entire Hermitage Museum.

Jiang Zhe lined up in front of the work mirror.

Because there were so many people, he moved slowly and observed the works from different angles.

This is an unfinished work, which has only been shaped but not further refined or polished.

Jiang Zhe feels that such works can actually reflect the artist's ideas and techniques during the production process.

Time is limited, but Jiang Zhe is ready to queue up and watch it again.

When I was queuing for the second time, I suddenly smelled a fragrance, which was obviously the scent of women's perfume.

There were two girls, also preparing to line up.

Jiang Zhe stopped in time to avoid a collision.

Coincidentally, one of the girls was the one I noticed.

Jiang Zhe lined up with the other party first.

"Thank you." The girl and her companion stood in front of Jiang Zhe.

Jiang Zhe was standing behind them, very close to the girls.

As he slowly moved forward, Jiang Zhe heard a prompt from the system.

"You have come into contact with Galina, a girl who is very suitable for character creation. Please use her as a prototype and create your work. The system will score and issue rewards based on the level of your work and your creative process."
