Chapter 12: Heaven and Earth are Nature, and Man is Like Heaven and Earth

Shaoshi Mountain.

"Did the donor succeed?" The big monk looked solemn and dignified, sitting cross-legged, and asked Ji Yang who was sitting opposite him.

Ji Yang nodded, his face solemn: "Master's method is very good, but it is a bit time-consuming. But I really succeeded. Master, do you know how it feels?"

The elder monk nodded and said, "Of course I know. It is empty as if there is nothing, and light as if flying. I have successfully entered into a state of meditation. My scalp is numb, as if I am dead."

Ji Yang nodded in panic: "Yes, yes, that's right, it feels so wonderful. Master, let me tell you about my state at that time..."

The big monk stretched out his fat hand to stop Ji Yang. He smiled and said in a gentle tone, "If you have realized it, then it is realized. It is enough for you to understand it in your heart. The Buddha is merciful and only saves those who are predestined. Since the donor has obtained the wonderful Dharma, then it is the donor's predestined Dharma."

Ji Yang pondered, then raised his head and said, "Master, I appreciate your opinion."

Watching Ji Yang leaving, the fat monk sighed, "People nowadays have no morals and are trying to cheat me. Ha! I will never buy back the secret book I sold."

Ji Yang left the fat monk and walked out happily. He found Shan Ying and the other two and said something. Then Ji Yang went straight back to the hotel. This time, Ji Yang prepared some food and put it beside him.

Sitting cross-legged, Ji Yang immersed himself in his thoughts.

But soon, Ji Yang frowned. He couldn't concentrate. As soon as he closed his eyes, his mind was filled with the passionate dance of the long-legged girl.

"Inner demons, they are all inner demons."

Ji Yang muttered, "Is it because I didn't take off my clothes?"

So, Ji Yang took off his clothes, took a bath, prayed for a while, and then sat cross-legged to meditate. Unfortunately, he still couldn't enter a state of meditation, so Ji Yang opened his eyes again and walked around the room impatiently.

"What's the problem? Is it the lack of boring procedures?"

This made Ji Yang look strange.

At night, Shan Ying returned to the room. Before she even took off her shoes, Ji Yang picked her up and threw her onto the bed.

Shan Ying was a little confused: "What happened to you these two days?"

Ji Yang rushed over and said, "You don't want to hurt me."

Shan Ying was still somewhat happy, but she complained: "Pah, is there anyone who is in as much pain as you are? It really hurts."

Two hours later.

Shan Ying saw Ji Yang leave without hesitation and then sit cross-legged. Shan Ying fell silent.

Are you treating yourself as a training aid?
……

Ji Yang felt dull and had no distracting thoughts. With the experience from the last time, Ji Yang entered into meditation easily this time. His scalp felt tingling, and a trace of fluorescence emerged in his body and gathered into a ball. However, unlike the first time, this time Ji Yang found that he was not too far away from his body. He felt more like he had entered a mysterious space. There was nothing around him, no up and down, and he could not feel the flow of time. Ji Yang floated here, his heart was full of calmness, and he observed everything with curiosity and nervousness. Ji Yang found that as the fluorescence in his body flew out and gathered on his mind. His body's breathing began to change, and his body began to vibrate in an extremely magical way again. The whole body, like a sophisticated machine, vibrated naturally and regularly. This vibration was not the operation of Ji Yang's will, but a natural instinctive vibration.

The next moment, red clouds rose and disappeared.

Colorful energy appears and disappears.

Ji Yang suddenly had an epiphany, and the fish that Shan Ying bought suddenly appeared in his mind. Ji Yang later checked on the Internet and found that the fish was actually dead, but fish were too low-level creatures. They died, but their bodies were still alive.

Ji Yang felt strange. If these fluorescent lights were just spiritual fragments, and if these spiritual fragments were extremely powerful, then if a person's head was chopped off, would the spiritual fragments in these people's bodies still be alive? Could it be possible to behead someone without dying?
This was just a sudden thought, and Ji Yang would not chop off his head. He was just thinking that these spiritual fragments dissolved in various parts of the body, even in the blood. If the spiritual fragments were powerful enough and the blood contained supreme energy, would it be possible to achieve rebirth with a drop of blood?

So, is the life level of fish really low? Who defines fish as low? It is people. People are always arrogant.

Ji Yang thought of the old Taoist's words again: "Cultivation is the cultivation of nature. Stones are nature, flowers, plants and trees are nature, the sun, moon and stars are nature, the universe is nature, and the human body is also nature."

Ji Yang looked at his body again. If his body was natural, then what were the flesh, organs, blood, cells, etc. in his body? Were they various living beings?

So what are these flying spiritual fragments? Are they the souls of these creatures? Moreover, it seems that without these spiritual fragments, the operation of the physical body is more natural and more harmonious.

"Heaven is merciless and fair!"

This thought suddenly popped up in Ji Yang's mind, and he was instantly terrified.

If you regard your physical body as the heaven and earth, everything inside your body as species between heaven and earth, and your spiritual fragments as the souls of these living beings, then isn't yourself, who controls this body, the way of heaven?

"The master mind is the way of heaven. I usually control my body by mastering the master mind to control these spiritual fragments. However, people are not really good at controlling their own bodies. They often have high expectations but low skills, and even don't understand their own bodies."

“To understand the human body is perhaps to understand the operation of the entire universe.”

"So, what are these red blood mists and colorful energies? Where do they come from? Where do they disappear to?"

Just as Ji Yang had this thought, he felt hungry again. He had no choice but to interrupt his concentration, and his mind turned into countless fluorescent lights that merged into his body. His natural instinctive breathing was interrupted again, and Ji Yang took control of this body.

For a moment, Ji Yang couldn't figure out whether instinctive breathing was more beneficial or whether breathing actively was better for the body.

He picked up the food and started eating. His hunger eased, and Ji Yang suddenly realized, "The red energy and the colorful energy are all squeezed out from the body."

"Humans take in nutrients through food, and when nutrients are insufficient and cannot withstand this squeeze, they are squeezed out of the body."

"Once the human body is squeezed, it will send me a signal of hunger or danger. Perhaps this is the reason why practicing martial arts can harm the body. Poor in literature but rich in martial arts, it's true."

Ji Yang wanted to return to Wudang Mountain and find the old Taoist priest again to ask if there was any breathing method that he could practice.
