Chapter 28 Finding the Woman

"I just ordered it and it will be delivered soon!" Zhou Yifeng said in a deep voice.

"Boss, you are so considerate!" Li Zhisong looked up at Zhou Yifeng, with stars in his eyes.

During these days in the police force, as she got to know the people in the team better and better, Su Xiaohan felt that the one with the biggest contrast was her senior brother Li Zhisong. "Yes, boss!" Li Zhisong received the order, quickly captured the screen, and took the USB drive to the technical department to find Xiao Ji.

Outside the door, Ma Nan and the other two came back exhausted and ran into Li Zhisong who was walking out quickly.

"It's almost there, there should be progress soon!" Li Zhisong was in a hurry to find Xiao Ji, and without saying much to him, he trotted away.

Back at their workstations, Ma Nan and the other two checked the information in the system based on the photos and eventually found someone who looked like the woman, but they needed to further confirm the identity. The woman was Guo Lei, a private business owner who ran a building materials store.

Ma Nan called the woman's phone number according to the registration information, but the other party's phone was always turned off. Later, Ma Nan checked again and found out that the woman had a black SUV in her name.

Based on the license plate number, Ma Nan tracked the vehicle and determined that it was parked near Community B in Xicheng District. He immediately reported to Zhou Yifeng.

"Xiao Han, you and Zhisong wait for the results from the technical department and Sister Sun. We're going to Community B. If you have any questions, call me!"

Zhou Yifeng had a hunch that he could find Zhao Xiaogang through this woman!
Seeing Zhou Yifeng leaving so quickly, Su Xiaohan felt a little worried. She wanted to stay with him, but she had to obey his arrangements.

Not long after, Zhou Yifeng called and asked Su Xiaohan to pick up the takeaway at the door. Su Xiaohan then remembered that Zhou Yifeng had ordered a meal for them.

Taking a few bags of grilled skewers from the delivery boy, Su Xiaohan began to wonder. Everyone in the team knew that she liked to eat barbecue. Could it be that Zhou Yifeng ordered this in the middle of the day just for her?
Back in the office, Su Xiaohan opened the paper bag and ate two skewers of each, putting the rest aside, intending to eat them when they came back.

She leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes to rest. After an unknown amount of time, she was awakened by Li Zhisong's voice: "Xiao Han, where are the boss and the others?"

Seeing Li Zhisong's puzzled expression, she rubbed her eyes and explained for him: "Captain Zhou and Ma Nan are out. Ma Nan found out who the woman with Zhao Xiaogang is."

"It seems that we have both gained something." Li Zhisong held up the USB flash drive in his hand and showed it off to Su Xiaohan. "Can you see the driver's face clearly?" Su Xiaohan was happy to cooperate with him and let him experience the sense of accomplishment.

"Yes, the person driving the car is Zhao Xiaogang!" Li Zhisong confirmed.

"Tell the boss quickly! Next we just have to wait for the result from Forensic Doctor Sun!" Su Xiaohan was also very excited.

While Li Zhisong was calling Zhou Yifeng, she took the skewers from the desk and shook them in front of Li Zhisong.

Li Zhisong took a mutton skewer from her hand, with an expression of enjoyment on his face. He ate while talking to Zhou Yifeng, and deliberately made a "smacking" sound, which made Zhou Yifeng on the other end of the phone couldn't help but scold him.

In Community B, Zhou Yifeng found Guo Lei's car near the community and went to the community property management to find Guo Lei's address, but there was no relevant registration for her. Zhou Yifeng suspected that Guo Lei was probably a tenant.

Next, they split up, Zhu Xiaofeng and Xu Jungang stayed near the car, Zhou Yifeng and Ma Nan checked the surveillance video of the community to see if they could find any trace of Guo Lei to determine where she lived. Finally, they saw Guo Lei in the surveillance video of the previous morning. She left the community gate and came back soon after. There was no video of her leaving the house in the subsequent surveillance. They concluded that she was still at home. Finally, they locked Guo Lei's location and went straight to the 9st door on the 1th floor of unit 4, building 1.

Zhou Yifeng rang the doorbell, and after a while, a woman's voice came from inside.

"Who is it?" the woman asked.

"Is this Ms. Guo? I have a package for you!" In order not to alarm Guo Lei, Ma Nan transformed himself into a courier.

Soon, the door was opened and a white and tender hand stretched out from inside.

Taking advantage of her unpreparedness, Zhou Yifeng opened the door. The woman in home clothes seemed to be frightened and stood still.

Zhou Yifeng looked closely and found that the woman was Guo Lei. She looked very similar to the photo, but a little whiter than in the photo.

"You are not couriers! Who are you?" She subconsciously took a few steps back.

Zhou Yifeng took out his police ID and said seriously, "We are here to look for Zhao Xiaogang!"

"Who is Zhao Xiaogang? I don't know him!" Guo Lei raised her voice.

"You don't know each other? Then why did someone see you and Zhao Xiaogang together? Do you need me to produce evidence?" Zhou Yifeng's face was as cold as ice.

"We... have only met once or twice. I'm not familiar with him." Guo Lei changed her words.
