Chapter 42 Twins

The girl didn't know what was going on, but seeing that they were police officers, she took a step back and let Zhou Yifeng and the others in.

A man came out of the kitchen. Zhou Yifeng was startled. Looking at his appearance, it was Wang Xiaowu. However, he seemed not to know them and asked cautiously, "Who are you?"

As they were talking, the door of the bathroom next door opened and someone pushed it open. Zhou Yifeng and the others turned around and met the man's eyes, all of them startled.

The man coming out of the kitchen looks a lot like Wang Xiaowu, but he is not Wang Xiaowu. The man coming out of the bathroom is Wang Xiaowu. It turns out that Wang Xiaowu has a twin brother!
"How did you find this place?" Wang Xiaowu no longer had the same aggressiveness as before.

"Xiaowu, who are they?" asked the man who came out of the kitchen.

"We are police officers. I suspect your brother Wang Xiaowu is involved in a homicide. Please ask him to come back to the bureau with us to cooperate with the investigation. In addition, please go with this girl!" Zhou Yifeng said to the man, holding up his police ID.

On the afternoon of the day Feng Xiaoxue had the accident, Wang Xiaowu called Wang Xiaowen and said that someone was going to their house to look at the house at around 2:50 p.m., and he had something to do at the company and couldn't go out, so he asked his brother if he could go back.

Wang Xiaowen knew that his brother was busy at work, so he asked for leave and went back home. However, after he got home, he waited for a long time but no one came. Later, Wang Xiaowu told him that the person who came to see the house had something urgent to do and could not come. Wang Xiaowen saw that it was getting late, so he did not go back to work.

So, the person they saw in the surveillance video was Wang Xiaowen, not Wang Xiaowu.

Zhou Yifeng was very confused. It was fine that the two brothers looked alike, but why did they wear the same clothes? If they hadn't colluded in advance, how could they be so tacit? "You mean, you don't know the real reason why your brother asked you to go home after 2 o'clock in the afternoon?" We saw you in the community surveillance video and thought you were your brother. In this way, he has an alibi." While speaking, Su Xiaohan kept staring into Wang Xiaowen's eyes.

According to Wang Xiaowen, her girlfriend Xiaoxia wanted to buy a laptop recently to use when she was working overtime at home. Yesterday morning, Wang Xiaowu brought her a computer, saying that it was not used by a friend and asked her to use it. As soon as Xiaoxia turned on the computer, she saw that QQ was automatically logged in and received messages from several QQ friends. She thought that she could not read other people's messages casually, so she logged out of QQ.

Su Xiaohan took a photo of the laptop and sent it to Xia Chunhong. Xia Chunhong confirmed that this was Feng Xiaoxue's computer.

Now it seems that Wang Xiaowu lied too much. He never admitted that he had been to Feng Xiaoxue's house on the day of the incident, but he took Feng Xiaoxue's computer and gave it to his brother's girlfriend. He also used his twin brother to create the illusion that he returned to his community at around 2 pm that day.

Based on the above two points, plus the testimony of Feng Xiaoxue's neighbors, Zhou Yifeng can be sure that Wang Xiaowu must have been to Feng Xiaoxue's home and met Feng Xiaoxue on the day of the incident. However, there is no direct evidence to prove that he killed Feng Xiaoxue.

While Zhou Yifeng was asking questions, Su Xiaohan suddenly thought of the silver van and quickly asked, "Wang Xiaowen, as far as you know, has Wang Xiaowu ever driven a silver van?"

"Silver van? How do you know this car? The car is mine, and my brother sometimes drives it." Wang Xiaowen asked back.

"Is the car yours? Where is the car now and what is the license plate number? We need to take a look!" Su Xiaohan was a little anxious.
