Chapter 74 Aunt Mei
"Are you going to continue?" Luo Ya asked Zhou Jun, trying hard to hold back her smile.

"Xiao Ya~" Zhou Jun looked at Luo Ya with grievance. The good atmosphere was ruined by that brat Yu Cai.

"Be good!" Luo Ya pinched Zhou Jun's ear and shook it.

Zhou Jun: "..."

"Xiao Ya, I have learned how to cook. I will cook for you from now on." Zhou Jun suddenly remembered that Luo Ya's cooking skills were not good, and he wanted to show off.

"What about when you're not at home?" Luo Ya deliberately teased Zhou Jun.

"Then you can go to the cafeteria to eat. Otherwise, when our child is born, I will teach him to cook." Zhou Jun said without thinking.

"How dare you say that. You even want to teach your child to cook." Luo Ya couldn't help laughing out loud.

"Xiao Ya, you should be shy." Zhou Jun originally wanted to see Luo Ya blushing with shyness, but Luo Ya's expression prevented Zhou Jun from developing the plot he had planned.

"Are you still driving tomorrow night?" Luo Ya tried to change the subject, but she was really not good at being shy.

"No, it's too dangerous to drive at night. We will pass through a town tomorrow evening. You can stay in the guesthouse then, and the three of us will stay in the car to watch over the goods." Zhou Jun shook his head.

Even if Xiaoya is good at fighting, it won’t work. It’s better to be safe.

"I can just live in the car with you guys. There's no need to make any special arrangements." Luo Ya really didn't care where she slept. After all, she had slept among piles of dead bodies.

"No, that won't work. It's not like we can't afford to sleep. If it weren't for us to check out the goods, we would all stay in the guesthouse." Zhou Jun also had his own insistence.

"Okay, I'll listen to you." Luo Ya nodded.

At around five o'clock, Zhou Jun felt a little sleepy and fell asleep while holding Luo Ya.

Luo Ya did not move and let Zhou Jun hold her. Feeling Zhou Jun's strong heartbeat, her heart couldn't help but become calmer.

At six o'clock, the sky gradually brightened, and Yu Cai and Wang Shan also came down.

"Brother Jun, Sister Ya, let's set off after dinner." Wang Shan asked.

"Okay." Zhou Jun nodded.

After a simple meal, Wang Shan and Yu Cai drove the car, Zhou Jun slept in the back of the cab, and Luo Ya lay in a small shed in the truck bed.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, we arrived at a relatively remote town called Heping Town.

The town is rather backward, with only one guesthouse and one canteen.

Zhou Jun asked Luo Ya to go to the cafeteria to eat and buy food at the same time, but Luo Ya did not agree.

I went to the guesthouse and booked a room first. "Girl, are you going to visit relatives?" Just after I checked in and was about to go to the cafeteria, a woman in her thirties came over.

"No, I'm taking the bus tomorrow morning to help take care of the kids at my relative's house." Luo Ya glanced at the woman and made up a story.

"Will you be paid?" the woman asked again.

"What salary? That's my cousin's family. They provide me with food and shelter, and they will introduce me to a date in the future." Luo Ya said shyly.

"You've been fooled, girl. It's not as hard to find a job now as it was before. I'm hiring a lot of people. I'm paying you 18 yuan a month, with food and accommodation provided. The work isn't tiring, and if you do a good job you'll get a raise, and you can eat meat every meal."

The woman leaned close to Luo Ya and whispered.

"There is such a good thing? That's much better than my cousin's house." Luo Ya's eyes were bright and full of anticipation.

"Girl, just go to work with your aunt. It's obvious that your cousin is trying to fool you." The woman's face was immediately filled with joy.

"When are we going? I have to tell my family." Luo Ya's expression showed a hint of hesitation.

"Go now. Work doesn't wait for anyone. It's not too late to write home after you've got the spot." The woman suppressed her trembling hands and gently comforted Luo Ya.

"That won't work. I've already paid the guesthouse and I haven't eaten yet. I've also bought the train ticket, so I have to refund it." Luo Ya was hesitant. "Then I'll go with you to refund the ticket, and I'll treat you to dinner," the woman saw that Luo Ya had fallen for it, so she wanted to give her some sweeteners.

"Really? Thank you so much, Auntie, you are really a living Bodhisattva." Luo Ya's face turned red with excitement.

The two walked into the cafeteria arm in arm and looked at the menu on the wooden board.

Without waiting for the woman to speak, Luo Ya started to order food. "I want one red-braised pork, stir-fried pork, shredded pork with fish flavor, Mushu pork, and ten white flour buns."

"Can you finish it?" the woman exclaimed, and really wanted to cover Luo Ya's mouth.

"I'll pack it up. Auntie, you can't afford it, right? Didn't you say you were making a lot of money?" Luo Ya looked suspicious.

"How can I not afford it? Please order, please." The woman nodded with gritted teeth, thinking that she would eat more later. This girl is so short-sighted, she deserves to be sold.

"Please put it in this lunch box for me." Luo Ya handed the lunch box to the waiter.

"Aren't you eating here?" the woman almost shouted.

"Don't we have to refund the tickets later? I'm afraid it's not safe to go to the train station after dark. My mother told me that there are a lot of kidnappers here." Luo Ya approached the woman and whispered.

Women "..."

"Auntie, what's your name? My name is Erya." After watching the woman pay the money, Luo Ya pulled the woman to sit aside.

"Just call me Aunt Mei." Aunt Mei now looked down on Luo Ya at all.

I thought that I must sell this girl far away and get more money.

"Aunt Mei, you are so kind, you are better to me than my mom. My mom doesn't even let me eat this meat." Luo Ya raised her little face and looked at Aunt Mei happily.

Aunt Mei: "..."

"Aunt Mei, please tell me about your work~" Luo Ya grabbed Aunt Mei's sleeve and shook it gently.

"Let me tell you, we have a big factory there, and all the work is done by machines. You don't have to do anything wherever you go. Just sit in the office and take a rest when you are tired." Aunt Mei's expression was quite exaggerated when she said this.

"Is it so good? Then why didn't you let your daughter go?" Luo Ya looked at Aunt Mei with disbelief.

Aunt Mei: "..."

"I don't have a daughter, but I hit it off with you the moment we met, so I thought of you when something like this happened." Aunt Mei said embarrassedly.

"Aunt Mei is so nice. Where are you from? I will come to find you when I make a lot of money and honor you well." Luo Ya continued.

"Why would I need you to show my filial respect to me? As long as you can make good money, that's enough." Aunt Mei said with a dry smile.

The two chatted for a while longer. They were told that the food was ready. Luo Ya carried the lunch box and walked out of the cafeteria affectionately holding Aunt Mei's arm.

When he arrived at the door, he called another person who was riding a donkey upside down.

"What's the point of riding a donkey backwards? It will only take more than ten minutes to get there." Aunt Mei felt a little distressed.

"It will be dark there." Luo Ya pulled Aunt Mei's arm and shook it.

Aunt Mei opened her mouth, but seeing that Luo Ya had already gotten in the car, she had no choice but to follow suit.

Arriving at the train station, Luo Ya jumped off the donkey she had been riding without stopping and said, "Aunt Mei, I'm going to go refund the ticket first, you hurry up and follow me." Then she ran straight into the train station.
