Snowy Night Kiss

Chapter 15 What am I like?

Chapter 15 What am I like?
On the first day of the new year, January, Jian Yi and Jin Yanchen became inextricably linked.

There was no need to worry about who took the first step. They didn't want to make the boundary too clear. After the short New Year's Day, Jian Yi also resumed his work in the office.

She was busy finishing her final annual review and often worked overtime until late.

Jin Yanchen would sometimes come to pick her up from get off work, without rushing her. He would just quietly turn on the car lights and suddenly honk the horn when she was running downstairs to the bus stop.

Seeing that she was frightened by the sound, and discovered the culprit and turned back to glare at him angrily, Jin Yanchen would curl up his lips into a mischievous smile again, and waved at her through the half-opened car window.

"How long have you been waiting?"

After taking off the mask, Jian Yi untied her scarf and asked him with her head tilted.

Jin Yanchen looked down at his watch and said, "It didn't take long." It was only two hours, and he waited from day to night.

When he said this, his tone was slightly drawn out, the faint light hit the side of his face, he was still smiling nonchalantly, his tone was slightly playful, and he raised his eyebrows, waiting for her next words with interest.

Jian Yi followed his words and said, "Since you made us wait for so long, how about I make it up to you?"

Jin Yanchen snorted and laughed: "How to compensate?"

Jian Yi looked at him, her eyes were bright, and when she looked at people with emotion, it was like a sparkling lake, crushing the sunlight into it. There was a hint of innocence in her eyes, mixed with the calmness on the surface, just the right amount of reluctance to accept.

Knowing her intention well, Jin Yanchen just looked at her with a pair of frivolous eyes. He raised his eyebrows lazily, as if to ask, isn't this compensation, why does he have to take the initiative?
Jian Yi's face turned red as if blood was about to drip out, and her heart was beating wildly at this moment. The seat belt tied around her chest seemed to be the last straw. She held it tightly, suppressed her excited heart, and raised her head to kiss him.

The movement was too clumsy, and she hit Jin Yanchen's chin in a hurry.

The man just smiled, his warm palm touching the back of her head, his wrist bone pressing slightly against her neck, as if to deepen the kiss.

He pressed his lips against hers and exhaled deeply: "First time?"

Jian Yi hummed randomly, gave him a light kiss and quickly ran away. Her face was almost burned. She didn't dare to look at his expression again. She pretended to turn her face away from the car window, her ears turning red.

Jin Yanchen missed his target and raised his hand to touch the water stain on his lips with a playful smile.

His hand slid into her open down jacket, revealing her slim waistline as he gently lifted the tight short sweater.

The innermost skin was filled with heat, and when I put my slightly cool fingertips on it, I could immediately feel her trembling tenseness.

Jian Yi subconsciously grabbed his rebellious hand and called his name with sparkling eyes, "Jin Yanchen..."

"Ok?"

Jin Yanchen slowly approached her, his tone dangerous,
"Has our Xiaoyi learned bad things?"

-

In the first month of the new year, the bustle in the eastern suburbs seems to never stop.

As soon as they stepped in, they were greeted by a wave of heat. Men and women raised their glasses to celebrate. Just as Jian Yi stepped into the door, a huge Easter egg exploded above her head. Mo Yucheng opened a bottle of champagne and waved it in the air. When he saw her, he came up to greet her enthusiastically.

Jian Yi was frightened by the enthusiasm, but she quickly reacted, pulled her lower lip, and said with a smile, "Happy New Year."

Mo Yucheng is really a very outgoing person. He always has a smile on his face for everyone and seems to be able to have fun with everyone in the place. He pulled Jian Yi in to introduce her to the people inside.

Jin Yanchen took off his gloves, pulled Jian Yi to his side, gave her a key to the eastern suburbs, and asked her to go in first.

This means they have something to talk about. Jian Yi hummed lightly, turned around and yawned in a corner where he couldn't see her.

She was actually very tired too, after working non-stop for a week and having endless trivial tasks to do. It was not that she didn't contact him on purpose. People had to survive first before they could think about that dreamlike joy.

Not far away, there was a golden and jade scene, where cheers and revelry never stopped, but it seemed hard to tell how happy they were.

The excitement seemed to be just a numb conformity. Their expressions clearly showed that they wanted laughter to drown out their sorrows so that they could become worldly fools.

Jin Yanchen stood there, the crowd gathered around him, his brows furrowed with a hint of annoyance, but his expression remained calm. The girl at the bar stood up gracefully, her slender waist tucked into her hollow long skirt, and she bent down just right, allowing people to see the ravines on her chest.

It really brings the advantages to the extreme.

A sneer flashed across Jian Yi's lips. She stopped adding trouble to herself and walked towards the eastern suburbs with her handbag.

As soon as she stepped in, she could imagine the confusion and complexity of this world. She knew that true love was hard to come by in this world, especially in this world, where sincerity had fallen to the point of being ridiculed.

But when I saw it in real life, I couldn't help feeling upset, so I simply locked the door to Dongjiao with a key to get some peace and quiet.

The room was filled with neon fireworks, and someone brought in several buckets of fireworks to set off in the backyard.

Jin Yanchen glanced back and called over to tell them to take it away so as not to disturb the peace back there.

Mo Yucheng looked ambiguous: "I've reserved a room for you upstairs, do you want to stay there?"

"Don't go."

"I'll take her to live in the back."

Jin Yanchen wanted to smoke a cigarette here, but when he touched his pocket, he found that the cigarette box was empty. He didn't want to stay here any longer, but Mo Yucheng refused to let him go easily and kept pulling him for a long time.

"You won't take it seriously, will you?"

Shao Yucheng bit the cigarette butt: "This is not like you, Yanchen."

Jin Yanchen asked: "What am I like?"

This question stunned Mo Yucheng. Their circle seemed close, but in fact, they were not very close to anyone.

Everyone has a line in their heart, and it’s hard to say what will happen once it’s crossed.

Mo Yucheng smiled, put out the cigarette butt with his toes, and lit another one.

He was completely hidden in the smoke he exhaled, and the words he spoke were half true and half false, "He is a very heartless person."

The eastern suburbs is a large villa area. The front hall and the backyard are separated by a long corridor, just like a clear boundary between noise and tranquility.

Jian Yi stood on the rooftop and looked quietly at the prosperous and well-organized small buildings in the distance. Her memories were always inadvertently connected to her hometown.

Although it is not as elegant as here, one can still see a full moon hanging high in the sky. The moonlight is also faint, and the fragrance of flowers blends in the hazy mist, and a human figure can be vaguely seen.

She drank too much tonight, and the scene in front of her merged with the scene in Shantang Town five years ago. Jian Yi vaguely remembered that five years ago, Jin Yanchen also walked towards her in the same way.

He was as casual and relaxed as before, coming and going at ease, and never lingering on anything.

That memory may be just the scattered stars in the Milky Way to him, but it is a precious treasure in her life.

When Jian Yi went down to the third floor, he happened to meet Jin Yanchen.

There was a slight smell of alcohol on him, but he walked steadily, his eyes were clear, and he had a perfect smile on his face. He asked her which room she wanted to stay in tonight.

Jian Yi was most fascinated by his calm and measured temperament. She had seen too many men who indulged in wine and women and were tainted with foul air. They would go crazy after drinking a little.

It seemed that Jin Yanchen would never do that. He had a balance of rationality and calmness. Even when they were hugging each other in bed, he would respectfully and considerately ask her if she felt uncomfortable.

He is the perfect lover.

Jian Yi's eyelashes trembled, the alcohol catalyzed her boldness. She stretched out her hand and pointed at his room from a distance. The smell of alcohol made her whole face flushed, and she felt like she was floating even when she walked.
