Chapter 7

"Anzi, thank you." Yao Pingping was very touched.

She died at the age of six and had lived in this small place for 15 years. Anzi was the first person willing to lend her a helping hand.

Anzi took the initiative to hold Yao Pingping's hand and said, "Let's go quickly."

Yao Pingping wanted to say that she couldn't get out of here. Day after day, she had become a ghost bound to the earth. But before she could open her mouth, Anzi had already pulled her away for a long distance.

The sun fell on her, but it did not cause the expected burning sensation.

Yao Pingping almost cried with joy. Her bet was right. Anzi was really different from ordinary people. She could see her, touch her, and take her away.

She could finally go find her mother.

"My home is on the 7th floor." Yao Pingping was pulled by Anzi, floating while looking at the surrounding houses.

There were a lot of miscellaneous things in the corridor, which was completely different from my impression. I occasionally saw a few people I knew, but they all looked much older.

Anzi didn't know Chinese characters, and Wang Po had only taught her the numbers 1-10, so it was very easy for her to recognize the 7th floor.

Yao Pingping skipped to the seventh floor and her eyes suddenly turned red.

"Anzi, right in front, number 5."

People on the 7th floor all lived in big houses, with just six families living on one floor, and No. 5 happened to be the one she knew.

"It's the landlord's house!" Anzi pointed at the couplet posted on the door. She had been here with her grandma before and she remembered the red couplet.

Grandma said that many of the houses here belong to the landlady, who is very rich.

The doorbell was too high for Anzi to reach, so he had to stand on tiptoe and knock on the door repeatedly.

"Is anyone there? Is anyone home?"

After a while, a hoarse female voice came from the room, "Who is it?"

The door opened and a woman about fifty years old walked out.

The woman had curly hair and was wearing a short-sleeved shirt with a blue background and white flowers. Who else could she be but the landlady.

"It's Anzi. What's the matter with you coming up here?" Liu Hong bent down and softened her tone.

Anzi turned his head and looked at Yao Pingping, who was shedding tears of blood, "Little sister, please stop crying. Is this your mother?"

Liu Hong couldn't see Yao Pingping, she only saw Anzi talking nervously to the air, which made her nervous as well, and cold sweat broke out on her back.

I heard that children can see dirty things when they are young. Could it be that Andy can see it?
"An Zi, who are you talking to?" Liu Hong swallowed and asked carefully following An Zi's gaze.

She herself didn't even realize the tremor in her voice.

"Sister Pingping, I'm helping Sister Pingping find her mother." After saying that, Anzi looked at the landlady, "Landlady, do you know Sister Pingping? Do you know where her mother is?" When Liu Hong heard the word "Pingping", her legs went soft and she fell to her knees with a plop, tears streaming down her face.

Yao Pingping's tears and blood never stopped, and Anzi was so worried that he kept scratching his head.

Why did Sister Pingping cry when she met the landlady?
Realizing something, the landlady grabbed Anzi's little hand and almost kowtowed to her, "Good boy, tell grandma quickly, which sister Pingping is it?"

Anzi was completely confused. What Sister Pingping? There was only one Sister Pingping.

"It's Sister Pingping, wearing a beautiful red dress and holding a colorful new ball, but she's crying. Landlady, do you know Sister Pingping's mother? Can you notify her mother to pick her up?"

After hearing what Anzi said, Liu Hong couldn't hold back any longer and howled loudly, waking up her son who was taking a nap in the room.

Yao Jinsong ran out of the bedroom, thinking that something had happened to his mother, but he saw a little kid with his head tilted and a confused look on his face. It seemed to be Anzi, the boy from Wang Po’s family downstairs?
"Mom, what's wrong?"

Yao Jinsong is 18 years old this year. He is tall with thick eyebrows and big eyes. After graduating from high school, he entered Huaying through his uncle's relationship. Now he is still in the stage of playing supporting roles.

Liu Hong burst into tears when she saw her son, "Your sister...is back..."

Yao Jinsong looked at Anzi, then at his mother, and finally cleared his throat, "Mom, you are wrong, this is not my sister, this is Anzi from Wang Po's house downstairs."

He had seen photos of his sister, and this little chick Anzi looked nothing like her, and was far inferior to his sister.

Liu Hong stared at the place that Anzi had just looked at, afraid of missing something.

When the child went missing, she couldn't find her, so she prayed to gods and Buddhas everywhere. Finally, Uncle An Qi told her that someone would bring Pingping back in the future, so she kept waiting.

God helps those who work hard, and during her lifetime, she finally waited for her daughter to come home.

"Anzi, I am your sister Pingping's mother." Liu Hong's eyes moved slightly over and looked at Anzi, "Can you help me ask sister Pingping where she is? I want to pick her up."

Anzi didn’t understand. Isn’t Sister Pingping right here?
She turned her head to look at Yao Pingping. At this moment, the blood and tears on Yao Pingping's face had disappeared, and she was staring at Liu Hong without blinking.

"Anzi, she can't see me." She pouted and wanted to cry again, but unfortunately she didn't have much time and couldn't waste it on meaningless crying. "Tell her that when grandma said she would take me out to eat hamburgers, my uncle took me to the countryside and pinched my neck. I couldn't breathe, so my uncle threw me into the pit. Later, my mother came to find me, and I followed her home, but I couldn't walk after I got downstairs."

Anzi didn't understand what these words meant, but he still told Liu Hong the truth, and finally added his own understanding, "Sister Pingping wants to go home very much and has been waiting for mom and dad."

As soon as she finished speaking, Liu Hong could no longer bear the blow and fell to the ground with her eyes rolled back. Yao Jinsong was angry and anxious, blaming Wang Po for not knowing how to teach her children, and that such a young child was talking nonsense.

My mother and grandmother have such a good relationship, and my uncle is also good to him. After my father passed away, my uncle helped a lot. How could my sister be harmed by them? Someone must have instructed this girl to destroy the relationship between their family.

He helped Liu Hong up with one hand and tried to catch Anzi with the other. He couldn't let this girl run away. He had to find the culprit!
"My daughter..." Liu Hong burst into tears. In fact, she had suspected that her daughter's disappearance was related to her mother-in-law. However, she had no evidence and her mother-in-law seemed even more sad than her, so she had to hide her suspicion in her heart. Now that she heard it from Anzi, she inexplicably had a feeling of "as expected".

Yao Jinsong grabbed Anzi's collar and took her downstairs to find Wang Po, regardless of Anzi's struggle. He wanted to have a good talk with Wang Po. What was Wang Po thinking? It seemed that their family had never offended her, right?

"Let me go! You bad uncle! Let me go now!" Anzi kicked her legs wildly, her collar making her feel uncomfortable.
