Chapter 7 He Knows About the Blind Date
Qin Moli was standing at the door of the restaurant when his mother called again and reminded him of the man's name, age, education, company, etc.

"Mom, I remember. His name is Gu Zhengcheng, he is 36 years old, graduated from Berkeley University, and is now the president of Haohan Company."

Through the clean glass window, she saw the man at table number six. He was wearing a high-end custom-made suit and holding a laptop, handling business.

As if sensing her gaze, he also looked at the woman outside the restaurant.

Dressed in a black work outfit, she looks capable and beautiful. Her gentle smile reaches directly into her eyes, which is the most beautiful scenery at sunset.

She hung up the phone and walked towards him.

He got up early and pulled out the chair for her.

"Hello, Miss Qin Moli! I'm Gu Zhengcheng! Please take a seat!"

"Thank you, Mr. Gu!" Qin Moli sat down.

She stared at him. He was elegant and handsome. What she didn't expect was that her first blind date would turn out to be her next client.

However, she had never thought about getting to know Gu Zhengcheng in depth or interacting with him. Today they were just going to have a meal together.

The dishes were served, including twice-cooked pork, Kung Pao chicken, husband and wife lung slices, Dongpo pork elbow, boiled beef...

Qin Moli remembered that when she was a child, her father often cooked Sichuan cuisine for her when he was alive. That was the hometown cuisine of the Qin family.

"Mr. Gu, I'm here today on my mother's orders." She had no intention of going on a blind date, and she hoped that he wouldn't go to such great lengths.

"Miss Qin, don't worry. We are just making friends today." Gu Zhengcheng smiled slightly, being humble and polite, and not making things difficult for her.

This made Qin Moli feel relieved, as long as there was no talk of feelings.

The dinner ended with both the guests and the hosts having a great time.

Gu Zhengcheng offered to take her home, but she declined.

"Mr. Gu, I still have to go back to the company to work overtime."

"It's just on my way. I'm also going back to the company to work overtime."

When they arrived downstairs of the Song Group, Gu Zhengcheng pulled over and opened the car door like a gentleman.

Qin Moli said goodbye to him, and she smiled sweetly, so beautiful that it could captivate the whole country.

This scene was seen by the man in the office upstairs.

He stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, holding a cigarette between his slender fingers, looking down at everything below.

Even though the people and cars under the towering building were as small as ants, he could tell at a glance that it was Qin Moli, the heartless little thing.

The tall buildings rise into the clouds, as if they can reach for the stars.

Song Yizhuo likes this kind of office environment, where everyone is under his supervision and everything is under his control.

But, Qin Moli actually dared to go on a blind date during overtime?
Qin Moli returned to the office, and Tang Wei rushed over as if she had seen her savior.

"Sister Qin, you're finally back! President Song asked you to hand in the information of Haohan Group!"

When Song Yizhuo called, Tang Wei picked up the phone. She was almost overwhelmed by his anger over the phone line.

"I understand. You can go home first."

Qin Moli still had one thing left to sort out, so she continued to work overtime to sort it out.

The clock hand almost pointed to twelve o'clock when she finished everything.

Qin Moli was holding a large stack of information. After knocking on the door and entering, the smell of cigarettes filled the air. Why did he smoke so much today? She couldn't help coughing a few times.

She frowned helplessly and turned on the air purifier.

"Mr. Song, all the information about Haohan Company is here. If there is nothing else, I will leave work first."

"Did you go on a date tonight?" He always knew her whereabouts like the back of his hand.

"My mother thinks I'm of marriageable age, so she's been looking around to see if I can get married." Qin Moli's eyes were cold, and when he spoke of marriage, he had no passion, as if he was talking about today's weather.

Song Yizhuo casually flicked the cigarette ash from his fingertips and asked, "Do you want to get married?"

"Yes." Actually, she didn't want to, but her mother did, so she sort of did.

Song Yizhuo smiled grimly: "Does the other party know that you have been with me for seven years?"

He took a step forward, grasped her slender waist with one hand, pinched her painfully, and continued to say malicious words: "No man would marry someone else's plaything as his wife!"

Qin Moli looked up and said, "Thank you Mr. Song for your teachings. I'll keep them in mind."

Song Yizhuo smelled a faint scent of red wine on her body, a scent that did not belong to him, but the scent of another man. The man's anger was revealed: "I'm not even engaged yet, and you broke the engagement first?"

Qin Moli chuckled: "Boss Song and Princess Wen Xin's engagement is a done deal. I'm having dinner with Boss Gu, it's just normal socializing. Why? Boss Song is so overbearing that he only allows officials to set fires but not the people to light lamps?"

Her laughter was unruly.

He stretched out his hand and pressed her against the French window.

She struggled, "Let me go——"

The man held her tightly with his arms, lowered his head and kissed her lips.

The more she resisted, the more he wanted to conquer her.
