Chapter 92 Countdown

"Not anymore."

Wen Xun held her in his arms.

"I will not do it again."

He sighed softly, as if blaming himself for not recognizing her earlier.

Liang Songyi stroked his back, comforting him silently.

"Are there two people over there?"

On the playground, someone was pointing in their direction.

"Young couple, hugging each other."

"Hello handsome guys and beautiful girls, are you coming to school to reminisce about your youth?"

"That girl looks familiar to me, as if I've seen her somewhere before."

"Is there? It's too dark. I can't see clearly."

Liang Songyi quickly withdrew from Wen Xun's arms, turned her head and covered her face with her hair.

"Hurry up, or you won't be able to leave later."

She took Wen Xun's hand and ran down the stands, then slipped out through a small door at the side of the playground.

After running a little further, he gradually stopped.

I realized belatedly that they seemed to have run off to nowhere.

This is a deep riverside path with lush trees planted on both sides. The moonlight can only penetrate through the gaps between the leaves and sprinkle on the ground in patches.

It was already dark at night, and the street lamps along the road were lighting up with a dim light, stretching their shadows long and slanted.

Leung Song-yee looked around.

"Where are we? Are we still in school?"

She was a little confused.

"Well, the river is behind the school. If we keep going along this road, we should be able to get out."

Wen Xun held her hand with his backhand and slowly tightened it.

"But we can stay a little longer."

He selfishly didn't want to go back.

Once they got back to the cabin, there would be other people, but for now it was just the two of them, and that was fine.

Liang Songyi turned her head to look at him, her eyebrows slightly curved.

"Okay, stay a little longer then."

The two walked slowly along the path by the river until they were tired and sat down on a bench by the roadside to rest.

Leung Song-yi looked up at the night sky dotted with stars.

"Two more days."

She whispered. "It's almost over."

Wen Xun stared at her profile without blinking, "Well, we'll go home after this is over."

Leung Song-yee burst out laughing.

She turned around and glared at him.

"I haven't even agreed yet, are you so sure that I will go home with you?"

She raised her eyebrows and looked at him leisurely, intending to tease him.

However, there was no sign of panic on Wen Xun's face.

He just held her hand tighter.

"Then I'll go back with you."

His eyes showed determination.

"I'll just follow you. Let me do it this time. All those times you've been waiting, let me do it. It doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as you let me be by your side."

"No."

Leung Song-yee shook her head.

Wen Xun was anxious, "Sui Sui..."

"Don't wait,"

She stopped him from speaking.

"We have wasted too much time, Wen Xun, I don't want to waste another minute."

Wen Xun's eyes were slightly hot, his Adam's apple rolled, and he uttered a muffled "hmm".

His eyes lingered on her face tenderly, as if he could never see enough of her.

The light was dim, as if it had cast a layer of hazy fog over her, making him want to peek inside.

His gaze slowly moved downwards, his eyes becoming increasingly deeper.

He leaned forward slightly and lowered his voice.

"Sui Sui, he doesn't count as being in school anymore."

He said.

Liang Songyi: "Hmm?"

The ending tone rises, with some doubt.

"So, it's okay to have a premature love affair."

?

Before she could react, she felt a slight coolness against his lips.

The evening breeze is gentle, and I can hear the rustling of leaves and the sound of flowing water.

It adds a bit of charm and shyness to the night.
