Chapter 40 Slaying the Dragon
The next day, Gu Ye woke up early. It was his first time sleeping in an unfamiliar bed, which made him feel uncomfortable. When he woke up, he realized that his clothes seemed to be gone. How could he go out?

However, when he got up in his pajamas and took out his cell phone to send a message to Chu Zihang, he found that a new set of clothes had been placed on the table next to him without him noticing.

[I don't know your size, so I asked Aunt Tong to buy you something a little bigger. You can just make do with it for now.]

The font was vigorous and powerful, and it was obvious that it was the result of years of practice. Gu Ye picked up his clothes, took off his pajamas and put them on. Looking at himself in the mirror, Gu Ye showed a strange look on his face.

The clothes were indeed a little too big, but the loose clothes covered up Gu Ye's muscles, making him look a little more elegant. This city boy style was obviously Chu Zihang's style, and Gu Ye was a little uncomfortable with it.

"I finally understand why Chu Zihang has so many fans." Gu Ye complained softly after putting on his clothes.

He is always so attentive to the smallest details, no wonder girls are so moved. Whose character did he inherit in this regard? It shouldn't be Su Xiaoyan, right?
Gu Ye opened the door and went downstairs while thinking about random things in his head. After he arrived at the first floor, he did not see Chu Zihang. He asked Aunt Tong and found out that he was practicing kendo.

Near the lawn outside the villa, Chu Zihang was swinging a wooden sword. He used a flick, a counter, a stab, and then a beautiful three-combo. He didn't stop until he saw Gu Ye.

"You're awake." Chu Zihang wiped the sweat from his face.

"I didn't expect you know kendo. Your skills are pretty good... What style did you learn?" Gu Ye discovered Chu Zihang's sword skills were pretty good during the last fight between him and Liu Yao. After observing him for a while this time, he felt he was even more amazing.

The various basic moves were connected to each other, and the techniques of advancing without defense were just like this in a real battle. Even though he was a little bit awkward now, Gu Ye felt that this was not a problem. He only needed a few battles, and maybe he could become a qualified fighter.

"What style? The Kendo class at the Children's Palace, tuition is 3600, and there are 36 classes in total. I only learned swordsmanship in those 36 classes. The rest of the time I practiced on my own." Chu Zihang put the wooden sword aside.

"A talent like that? I'm so envious..." Gu Ye was dumbfounded. How could this swordsmanship be associated with the Children's Palace? Now Chu Zihang could only be described as outrageous. It felt like he had practiced the Dugu Nine Swords out of a book of swordsmanship.

"Your talent is not bad... You are the kind of guy who can go head-to-head with Deadpool right from the start." Chu Zihang rarely teased Gu Ye, but his face was still expressionless.

"Okay, let's go eat first... Liu Yao and I have agreed to meet at a cafe near the central square later."

"Central Square? I see." Gu Ye nodded. From the location where he was standing, it could be seen that Chu Zihang was still very cautious. Even if they were people with special abilities, they would not act rashly in a crowded place like the Central Square.

11:30, in the cafe in the central square.

Chu Zihang and Gu Ye arrived here early to wait for the two guys from Kassel College. After Gu Ye finished a cup of coffee, Liu Yaocai arrived late with Luo Li.

"Sorry, sorry! I was a bit attached to my bed last night, so I got up late this morning." Liu Yao sat opposite the two of them awkwardly.

"Let me introduce myself. I am Liu Yao, a graduate of the Alchemy Department of Kassel in 06. My major is Alchemy Engineering."

"Luo... Luo Li, a graduate of the Fighting Department of Kassel in 06, is good at fighting." Luo Li glanced at Gu Ye and spoke with some fear. "Alchemy and fighting..." Chu Zihang keenly noticed the problem. This definitely didn't sound like something that was taught in a normal university.

"It sounds like a magic school. How come... you are all wizards?" Gu Ye complained.

"In fact, in theory, Kassel College is similar to the wizarding academy in Harry Potter. Both only recruit students with bloodlines." Liu Yao nodded, agreeing with Gu Ye's complaint.

"It's about bloodline again... Could it be that the changes in Gu Ye and me are all due to our bloodline?" Chu Zihang asked.

"You're right... maybe our meeting is also the mutual attraction of blood." Liu Yao had a mysterious expression on his face.

"Before I reveal the answer to your question, let me ask you a question first. Do you believe that there are dragons in this world?"

"Letter..." Gu Ye and Chu Zihang spoke in unison, which made Liu Yao's prepared lines stuck instantly. He coughed twice in embarrassment.

What's the big deal about dragons in the world? Gu Ye has even seen Odin, the main god of the Nordic countries. He would not be surprised even if Liu Yao said that God is still alive.

"Young people nowadays have a very strong ability to accept things, hahaha." Liu Yao could only laugh dryly, God have mercy on him... He had made a lot of preparations in order to successfully trick Gu Ye and Chu Zihang into joining Kassel this time.

I had been practicing my words this morning, how to arouse their curiosity, how to gradually make Gu Ye and Chu Zihang accept the fact that dragons exist, but now it was completely useless.

"Stop talking so much!" Luo Li frowned and took out a notebook from Liu Yao's bag. She didn't have the patience to wait for Liu Yao to finish his performance.

"Wait! They haven't signed the confidentiality agreement yet!" Liu Yao subconsciously tried to stop Luo Li, but he was a step too late. Luo Li had already opened the notebook.

She opened the video footage on her laptop and turned the screen to Gu Ye and Chu Zihang. In the video, two figures were fighting fiercely. One of them was like Mo Laojiu in the warehouse, with scales all over his body and a face that looked like an elongated snake.

"Let's get straight to the point. People like us are called hybrids. You are the same, a hybrid of dragon and human." Luo Li said to the two.

"Mixed-blood... is that what it means?" Chu Zihang finally understood, but soon became confused again. He and his father must be related by blood, and the same goes for his mother, so does the bloodline of mixed-blood refer to ancestors?
"In the distant mythological era, the world was ruled by the Dragon King Nidhogg, and humans were slaves of the dragons." Liu Yao narrated slowly. To be honest, he was tired of hearing such legends. But in order to get the two to join Kassel, he still patiently explained the science to them.

"Then one day, humans stole the blood of the dragons, the crystallization of humans and dragons, and hybrids were born. During the civil strife of the dragons, the hybrids successfully led humans to overthrow the rule of the dragons, which allowed the world to be controlled by humans again."

"And we... are the descendants of hybrids, with dragon and human blood flowing in our bodies. This is why we can use special powers. This power is the innate ability of the dragon race, and it is called the Word Spirit."

So that's why. No wonder Chu Zihang and Chu Tianjiao's eyes turned golden when they used their special abilities. It turns out that all the people with special abilities in this world are little dragons... Gu Ye finally understood.
