Chapter 85 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 85 Remarks on the launch
I have five spicy strips, which will be on the shelves tomorrow. Please take the first order.

After talking about the main text for so long, let me just say a few words off topic.

For example, the question of the purpose of this book.

Before starting a new book, I actually thought about it for a long time: what should I write about?

I have invested in fantasy and science fiction, but I didn't expect that he could be so aggressive and break through the three levels of rejection in one day. I was a little surprised. After all, he has finished writing a book, so it shouldn't be that bad, right?

Then the editor replies, scan the list, scan the list, and see what’s popular. Just scan it.

Then I discovered that everyone had some problems with their brains. Maybe they had read too many serious online articles and always liked to read some crazy literature.

But it's not a big problem. I don't think there's anything wrong with my brain. After all, I have written a book about parasitic cultivation, so I have some experience in going crazy. It's not a difficult thing.

But the question arises again, how to approach it? You can't just be crazy for the sake of being crazy, that's boring, and articles that rely on imagination and pranks have never lasted long. This is a more realistic problem.

This problem has been bothering me for a long time, but I had no idea what to do until one day I saw a new book while browsing the charts, and inspiration finally came to me.

Yes, maybe some of you have guessed it, it is the speed run book.

When I saw the introduction for the first time, I thought I lived in Bengbu. Can a book be written like this? It seems to be possible. This strange character setting of the protagonist may collide with many wonderful plots, which is very consistent with the way of going crazy.

Quickly, a character emerged in my mind: indifferent to life and death, doing whatever he wants if he is not convinced, having no scruples, and disregarding human feelings. He does not put himself in other people's shoes, and focuses on completing tasks regardless of the lives of others. He leaves the actions to himself and leaves the internal friction to others.

I value friendship and loyalty, I am shrewd and calculating, I am low-key and tolerant, I am calm and decisive, I am steady and thoughtful, I know the ways of the world, I will not offend others unless they offend me. None of the above is in the book. I want to create a character who cuts off all human relationships, ignores all rules and order, and has a strong sense of purpose and execution. After all, the rewards are given by the system, and the tasks are done by oneself. What does it have to do with others? The character setting of the protagonist has been controversial from the beginning. I actually thought about it before I started writing the book. Should I give the protagonist a reason for his style? For example, he traveled through time without knowing it, thinking he was playing a game?
But then I thought, isn't this just another boring routine? And if it is set up like this, life and death, joy and sorrow, separation and reunion, everything will have nothing to do with the protagonist. Once the world is deemed to be fictional, then except for the mission itself, nothing else matters. Any plot that goes against the interests will become a poison point. The protagonist will really have no heart, completely kidnapped by the system, no longer have his own will, and be completely a scumbag, with no room for redemption.

This is very detrimental to the plot design, and I don’t intend to write a dark story, it’s just a unique style.

After much thought, I decided to just treat it as part of the basic setting. There is no need to use the game as a fig leaf for the basic moral sense of the Xianxia theme. After all, who stipulates that the protagonist of an online novel must be a wise character who is good at calculating and handles things smoothly and steadily? There are too many books of this type, and my book is not a big deal. With such a large starting point and various genres, can't there be room for mine?

Moreover, based on the basic world view of this book, this is exactly the kind of character that is needed.

Of course, there are still problems. When shaping the character, we have to put ourselves in the shoes of the protagonist. Okay, it sounds confusing, but in fact, when designing the plot, we think the behavior is reasonable from a God's perspective, but problems are likely to arise when everyone puts themselves in the shoes of the protagonist, such as weighing the pros and cons of the marrow cleansing plot. We will pay attention to these in the future.

In short, the whole thing is secondary, the character setting is clear, the main line is stable, and the future is bright.

The basic plot structure and style are determined long before the book is published, and can remain stable for a long time and will not change easily.

Let’s talk about the issue of grades.

The performance was actually pretty good when it was first recommended, and the author was quite optimistic for a while. But reality proved that this was just a fantasy after a failed attempt at typing. There were some problems with the subsequent rhythm, which led to it being hastily put on the shelves after three rounds. This was a problem of lack of experience, and we must acknowledge it.

But it doesn’t matter. Life is full of ups and downs. Grades are not everything. There is also the experience accumulated through ideas and attempts.

Finally, how far this book can go depends entirely on your support. I will update five more chapters tomorrow. Thank you!
Risby!
